I honestly do not recall the date without going through an enormous amount of emails.

Great Website with very good resources

I've been using Issuu since 2021, and still like how easy it is to upload files and descriptions, and the flipbook creation. 5 stars for all this.
But then there has been an ongoing reduction in the functions offered. I'm still not sure how many back issues continue to be hosted on the Starter Plan, which I reverted to when the original basic subscription more than doubled. We are a non-profit community newsletter and could not even consider the current subscription offer. So only 1 star for this.

ISSUU is an easy to use way to archive your publications and to share them with others electronically.

I have used Issuu for over 15 years, which makes this experience even more disappointing.

The current onboarding and pricing system is confusing and appears designed to push users into higher-cost plans without clear consent. I was placed into a multi-user subscription that I did not knowingly select, and the $0.99 trial quickly leads to much higher recurring charges.

This kind of pricing model lacks transparency and may mislead users who expect a straightforward publishing service.

After reading other reviews, it is clear that this is not an isolated case.

A company with such a long history should do better in maintaining trust and clear communication with its users.

Use with caution.

I am super happy with issuu.com. I use it for multiple magazines and I find the analytics easy to read and very helpful. I have been a customer for over eight years with issue.com. I highly recommend them.

Used to be a good company/product. Then all the changes happened that make it worse for us – only a matter of time before I change companies.
Examples are:
1. The constant trying to publish 'articles' – I do not want them published.
2. Making it hard for me to find the link for the branding free publication despite me paying $3,200 pa for the last seven years.
3. When the service goes down, it is impossible to find any support at all despite me being an "optimum annual' customer. (I have since discovered that I am now an 'Unlimited Annual' customer.
4. Having to constantly prove I am human by clicking stupid images time and time again.

Of course, as my content is on Issuu, if I leave, all my links will be dead but as I do not use the statistics feature, it will be worth my while employing someone to move all my PDFs to my own website storage and serve them from there.

Shame, but Issuu have joined the companies who have made their product so bad that I want to leave.

I signed up for a free trial, and then got billed 6000 USD. I managed to get a refund but it was not a pleasant experience. I don't even understand why it was 6000 USD - it must have automatically put me on the 'Teams' plan with multiple seats and then charged us for an entire year. Very underhanded. The product is good though - I now use ISSUU on the more modestly priced 'starter' plan. just beware when it comes to free trials / billing.

Had an issue with unauthorized plan upgrade.
Customer support (Ella) was very helpful and
refunded all 6 months. Great service!

They just 4x our pricing. Not worth at all paying that price for what we use it for.

I think I got the worst. They took me 2700€ from my account. Just wanted to try free trial and after signing in I saw they took 2700€ from my bank account ! NEVER DO THIS

Rip off . I received a confirmation email from this company stating that I would be charged over $400 a month to use their website. They are out of their mind..all I wanted to do was see if a particular document was available. No reply from customer service, I finally figured out how to delete my account.

Used to be good, but they changed the plan terms without informing, we paid for PRO subscription, cannot remove the branding anymore, all paid feature and moved to even higher insane amount of money. We are actively looking for alternative and will switch.

Fast and solved the problem without much back and forth.
