I wanted to try the Jasper AI writing assistant for my company. Jasper charged me a significantly higher price for the subscription than the pricing shown on their webpage (almost twice what was advertised) and even after I canceled the subscription, I kept getting charged. Customer service was not responsive so eventually I had to cancel the subscription through my credit card provider.

Absolute thieves. They don't allow you to cancel after you take the free trial to try them out. They'll keep charging you because they disabled "Cancel" button.

If you have no protection on your Credit Card, you are doomed my friend.

I signed up for a free trial but was unable to use it. Unfortunately, I mistakenly set a calendar reminder for the trial cancellation on the wrong day. When I realized I had been charged for not canceling before the trial ended, I reached out to the company via chat, but was unable to connect. I subsequently contacted them three times requesting a refund of $500, but have been unsuccessful. Despite attempting to cancel within 24 hours of the charge and not having used the service, I did not receive any assistance. Based on my experience, I do not recommend working with this company if you require prompt responses or assistance with your subscription. It is disheartening to have lost $500 in this manner.

Nevwr received my item. Never received tracking info. Can't get a response fie a refund. SCAM !! I should have checked more on where this was coming from. BEWARE

Do not believe these REVIEWS!! They have to be 100% bots!! This service is run truly on AI software, I paid $500 and in over the 5 months I have not once had different captions to improve the Social Media captions I use for our restaurant. The ONLY words it knows is delicious, indulge, Join us, or experience...

I wanted to express the level of my disappointment with customer service provided by Jasper. After spending $500, I have nothing but lack of responsiveness and support when seeking assistance with what appeared to be repetitive and subpar AI-generated content.

I received a flat refusal when requesting direct contact with a representative of your company. As a result, I am compelled to consider sharing my experience on platforms such as Trustpilot to shed light on all the challenges and lack of support.

I believe that addressing this matter with due seriousness is crucial, and not to be ignored!!! I will give your company 5 days to resolve my concerns, but if you fail to respond and resolve the matter I will ensure that other customers do not encounter similar frustrations. This sucks, you act like you don't care, not to mention you dump a whole lot of emails *only recently* to try to show you're helping people doesn't cover the fact of 2023.

Come on!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! They didn't address my issues when I went into depth in another email of my issues and sent me this email above which was written by Ai and not a person.

PLEASE do your market research this is NOT worth €500 to have the same captions delivered over and over again.

Poor customer service. Poor quality content. Would not recommend.
Beware of their subscription after you finish your trial!

There is WAY too many 5 star reviews from new 1 review accounts. Something seems fishy here.

I had about 4000 Words on my Account to "spend", when i wanted to login after 2 months they just chancel my acc for inactivity.

Very bad. They make if very hard to cancel, you need to speak to support they are unresponsive and you cannot remove your bank details.

Stick with ChatGPT or Bard.

Been a customer since the beginning. Paying $99 a month for my subscription for more than 2 years. Now i see that a plan only costs $49,-.

Jasper doesn't want to pay the difference back. Their only offer is: 3 months 30% off. Well, good luck with your program. There are cheaper alternatives.

Well, I came across Jasper per a friend's recommendation. Yet, it failed to meet my expectations. The main problem is that its text demonstrates a relatively poor uniqueness rate, which is essential for SEO purposes. The quality is also pretty average in terms of context. Hence, the app is significantly overpriced.
I also found it quite complicated to find the option not to extend my trial period, ended up having to contact the support team. They were quite helpful, though.

I just tried to cancel my subscription and obtain a refund and there is no easy, clear way to do it. You are asked to interface with a bot, who sends a link to verify your email. When you enter your question or request, the bot pulls up FAQs. You cannot request a refund and there is no live customer service. I am very worried I will not be given an opportunity to get a legitimate refund for a product that I am not going to use. I know that Jasper is violating the law.

Jesper AI is a useful tool

Upon earlier this year signing up for the free trial I cancelled the subscription after 5min of using as not liking the interface.

Several months later on my account I’ve seen they’ve charged me and refuse to refund me though I know I had cancelled.

In all a dishonest company that has awful cash grab police’s and bad support!

I was on yearly billing with this company for $590. I had cancelled during the yearly service but they would not credit any money back. When my yearly billing was up they automatically renewed me and billed me $590 again. I immediately attempted to cancel and receive a refund. This was all within a couple days of them automatically renewing me and billing me the $590 again. They refused. I spent hours attempting to get my money back. Finally I told them I would dispute it with AMEX. They told me go ahead and good luck. I disputed with AMEX and was originally refunded. Now 2 months later AMEX has rebilled the charge to me because Jasper.ai said they had no proof of my cancellation. I tried to login to my account at jasper.ai and it says my account is inactive. I can't use it. So they get to not only keep my $590 but I can't even use the service. It is impossible to get your money back from this company so please don't use them and if you do make sure its only monthly and get it in writing that you can cancel your monthly billing. If you check the internet you will find dozens of stories like mine about people not being able to get refunds or cancel their accounts. Please share this information with as many people and you can and repost it on social media as I will be. This is a horrible company to do business with and they simply dont care about you.

While Jasper is an amazing AI program, the company's staff are equally great. They respond to questions quickly, which is unusual now-a-days!
