Everyone I deal with at Jeffrey Ross go above and beyond. I’m an extremely busy individual juggling a young family and a demanding career. Their priority and duty of care for their tenants, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing is exceptional as well as their service in making life as easy as possible for their landlords, taking charge of every detail and issue seamlessly.

Great. From viewing to signing they kept us in the loop. The lady who showed us around was so enthusiastic about the location, helped us fall in love with the house.

Excellent service all round. We sold and bought using Jeffrey Ross and couldn’t fault them at all, from sale to viewings and then purchase, we experienced the full cycle with Jeffrey Ross. Stafff were knowledgable, amenable, flexible and friendly and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Particular kudos to Ramzy, Amanda and Maddie for helping us to sell and then purchase in our dream location.

We were the buyers in our transaction and everything did work out in the end but I found the process more stressful than I think it needed to be. The viewing, offer and acceptance process was great but after that it was difficult to get answers to any questions we asked. We had no chain and were keen to move and acted as quickly as possible but we were still pushed to set a date for completion before we were ready. The survey flagged issues and it took a while to get that sorted out but I was chased constantly. Even after I explained I was away on holiday for a few days, or when I said I was having surgery that week, and I would get back to them as soon as I could, I was still phoned and emailed. When we tried to negotiate a price reduction based on a damp report we had received I was made to feel like I was being unreasonable and it was suggested that there was no damp (even though I used the surveyors the agents recommended). On completion day the house was left full of furniture we'd agreed through our solicitors would be removed and the agents were no help at all and refused to even contact the vendors on our behalf. Overall given the choice I would choose an different agent in future.

On the whole. as a landlord of four flats, I have found Jeffrey Ross to be helpful and always prepared to discuss problems with a view to resolving them. My property manager Amanda is always quick to respond and is always willing to help where she can. I have dealt with many different people in the company over the past few years and, generally, I have found the company to be helpful and professional in their approach. It's 5 stars from me :)

We have been prompted for a review over 6 months since we purchased a property via JR. While we found them polite to speak to they were unwilling to manage the relationship with their own client selling the property which caused the renegotiation process to be via our solicitors which resulted in an increase in our legal fees and a delay in the purchase. We viewed other properties with them and found them to be on a par with other estate agents. However, based on the issues regarding the purchase of our current property, we would not use them again.

Due to severe mould and damp issues in the flat — caused by underlying structural issues — I have been suffering from serious consistent respiratory problems over 3 months, including coughing up blood, nasal bleeding, and chest pain.

My GP diagnosed me with pneumonia and rhinitis caused by mould exposure. I’m now on extended sick leave and forced to stay in hotels as the flat is unfit for habitation.

Despite reporting the issue in January and explaining how it impacted my health, I was told to clean the mould myself. I was told over the phone that the issue “wasn’t important or urgent” and discouraged from getting a damp survey by being told I’d have to cover the cost.

I had to remove the mould myself and stay in a hotel. It later emerged the flat has major issues: no proper ventilation, faulty extractor fans, a leaking pipe, poor wall insulation with damp level of the wall reach up to 30%—factors beyond my control that contribute to mould growth.

Shockingly, I was recently told over phone that I should better “just give 30 days’ notice and leave because maybe foreigners aren’t used to UK flat.”In other words, I am expected to keep paying rent for an uninhabitable flat for another 30 days while being forced to stay in hotels for my own safety.

This whole experience shows a clear disregard for tenant wellbeing and breaches key obligations. I strongly advise anyone thinking of renting through this agency to reconsider. Their neglect of basic health and safety responsibilities and dismissive attitude toward serious issues have had devastating effects on my health.

They’ve been very attentive the entire time searching for a house and continued to support us after signing the contract with any queries we had. Actively provided us options based on the criteria we offered and had very quick response times. Would recommend to anyone looking for housing in the area.

Absolutely awful experience. Stopped caring the second they got their deposit. Allowed a terrible landlord to rent out a flat with a non functioning toilet, a washing machine that ruins clothes, a dirty carpet, no access to mail for 1 month, a hob that did not work, missing fittings, a broken window handle and rubbish left behind. Ive rented a lot over the past few years and this was very easily the worst experience by some margin. Incompetent and exploitative. Looking to escalate this complaint further externally.

Rhys showed us round a property and was lovely, he let us take all theme we needed and let us ask any questions we needed… thanks!:)

I stayed with the letting agents for very short period of time, but I do feel specially Jon, the Director of the company was always helpful and answered any queries that I may had. I would certainly recommend JeffreyRoss. Thank you Jon for everything and for making our move to Plymouth much easier.

Bitterly disappointed, as the valuer came out to the property and discussed a marketable price and negotiable terms of contract. When confirmed in writing both were different to our meeting. Consequently, I have no confidence in them as felt deceived.
Thank you for your reply - my original point was regarding the valuation and commission. When I contacted the office following the email they were adamant that the email from Lewis didn't say that the commission wasn't negotiable my point was that neither did it say it was negotiable as Lewis had said when we met. Yes, you have left voice messages but as what was said has not been confirmed in writing or backed up verbally, I do not wish to deal with Jeffrey Ross.

Had a free evaluation with JeffreyRoss on a property me and my ex partner were trying to rent. Afterwards me and my ex decided it would be more beneficial for us to sell and split the money. My experience was very open and I would definitely recommend them as an estate agency!

Jeffrey Ross was by far the most responsive and helpful agency I reached out to when looking to let in Cardiff. Jon in particular went above and beyond to make sure we found a let that worked for us. I moved from Canada and he made an international move simple and straight forward. I would recommend Jon and the rest of Jeffrey Ross team to anyone.

Everyone at Jeffrey Ross was so helpful in our experience. We are especially grateful for Jon, who went out of his way to find us a place as we were moving from Canada and unable to do any viewings beforehand. He always responded quickly and had our best interests in mind.

Really fabulous. We had a bit of an uncertain chain and Sarah Francis in the Llanishen office was worth her weight in gold. I think we spoke to her every day for a month! 5* agency.

Great experience working with Ramzy Bancroft who we had different viewings with and eventually got one through his help negotiating the price for the one we settled down for. He was very prompt in relaying information, updating us through the process. As a first time buyer, rest of the team were also great, Maddie Parker worth a mention for helping with completing the sale process.
