Seriously Jimmy John's... step it up

I've ordered Jimmy John's several times and typically I get exactly what I order but lately since Covid the wait time for delivery has increased significantly and this time I ordered my usual and received pretty much bread with some mustard and tomatoes in it that's it. My usual has many more ingredients that that I assure you. It was the saddest sandwich I have ever seen in my life. Thankfully, when I called they said they would remake it and send me a new one. Otherwise I would have given them a 1 star review. In 2019 I give Jimmy John's 4 stars 2020 they have fallen to 2. Quality assurance needs to be stepped up here guys!

Jimmy John's Northwest Highway

I was so disappointing in the Jimmy John's on Northwest Highway in Dallas. I ordered food for several people for lunch. The manager was short and rude and not how a customer service establishment should be run. I had two more lunch dates to order for but will not be going back. I would be glad to discuss further if Jimmy John's would be interested.

I just ordered from Jimmy John's for…

I just ordered from Jimmy John's for the first time, size of sandwich was great, but the flavor was bland, let's just say there wasn't any,I paid 18.00 for a 16 inch Vito sub and large coke for delivery, the young lady that delivered was friendly, that was the only positive thing,
I will not be ordering from them again, for that price I expected a great sandwich.
The order was place from restaurant in N Charleston South Carolina Center Pointe Drive location.

I used to love them and their food but…

I used to love them and their food but not anymore because I had food delivered to my home a few days ago. Everything was good until today when I checked my bank account and saw they charged me more than what I originally agreed to pay. So I called them and asked to speak to a manager who told me it's possible they could have accidentally charged me someone else's tip. He also said that he wasn't there when I placed my order so I have to call back tomorrow morning to talk to the manager that was there. I don't understand how they could have accidentally charged me someone else's tip days after I had food delivered. I will not be ordering food from them ever again!
Edit: After leaving negative reviews and giving them negative feedback on their site, they sent me a $10 giftcard. I was able to order 2 sandwiches along with a side portion of kickin' ranch and a cookie because I also had earned a free sandwich. It took a little over an hour for them to deliver my food but it was free so I'm not complaining. The food was good and I'll definitely order again when I have money.

Hey if you like Jimmy John’s it’s good…

Hey if you like Jimmy John’s it’s good if you don’t it’s not. But if you want to earn a free sandwich using their rewards app forget it. Unless you eat every day you will never earn a sandwich. Your rewards expire after 30 days. They say usually 60 days but they disappear after 30 days. They even admit it takes a long time to earn a sandwich. But you don’t have a long time your points expire. I bought 4-5 sandwiches a week for a month never earned 1 free sandwich. Then I found out their CEO hunts exotic animals. Google it. No more JJs

I love Jimmy John’s!!

I love Jimmy John’s!!! I have zero issue with the owner being a big game hunter because it’s his money and his prerogative. 🙂 What I do have an issue with is the damn UPDATE button used when making online orders. An automatic update after the customer takes the time to customize their sandwich, would be very nice. If you forget to hit update, the sandwich comes As Is and it’s severely frustrating.

Love!

You cant expect fast deliveries 100% of the time but the store I go to regularly try their absolute best. Unless you have worked in Retail or fast food before, you wont understand that stores do have staffing issues. Whenever I have an order that is delayed, they ALWAYS call me to keep me updated. It's all about the communication and their communication is wonderful. Not to mention the quality of the food is better than any place I've been before. You guys rock, keep on rocking!

CRAP

Bigoted even though they have ethinic workers. They are homophobic and disrespectful people in general and have no work ethic whatsoever down to the nasty mouths. It is dirty in every store i go too i quit after the second visit. And they dont need to give the managers a vehicle what a waste of money.

My company has safety lunches each…

My company has safety lunches each month, this month they chose Jimmy John's okay they are individually wrapped (the mini Jimmy) we should be good I ordered 84 for the 1st shift and 72 for 2nd shift. Usually they are completely wrapped individually so no contamination. They were not they wrapped the 8 inch sub and then cut it leaving an open end on the sandwich. This does not fly with the associates I work with at all. I spent 550.00 on a safety lunch you would of thought if I wanted a platter with open subs on it I would of ordered it.

If I could leave 0 as a star rating

If I could leave 0 as a star rating, I would. I drove 20 minutes to go redeem a birthday sub at the AZ location near me (the last day to redeem) and when I ordered and tried to present the coupon, they told me it "wasn't valid." The manager just shrugged his shoulders and told me there was nothing he could do. The entire exchange between trying to get me my birthday sub and confusion as to why the app wasn't working took 20-30 minutes. SO I wasted 40-50 minutes of my life on Jimmy Johns only to be told "sorry, nothing we can do." I asked if I could call corporate - they couldn't give me a number. At this point I was like "look at my phone, here is my License, can you honor the coupon and give me the deal - again it was the LAST day to redeem! Nope, sorry nothing we can do - and we don't have a number to give you. SO I left.

Next, I went on a scavenger hunt and finally had corporate call me 3 days later and tell me they "locked my account for suspicious activity." Like what the what? Is this a bank or a sandwich chain? After unlocking it for me, and determining that I was a legit dude who just wanted a birthday gift from the app, I asked if, since I missed the window for my birthday sandwich if they could hook me up with an extension or get me a free sub valid until the end of the month, they said "Sorry you'll have to wait until next year."

Well, I wont be waiting until any years because I will never go back to Jimmy Johns, they lost me as a customer over a $6.50 sandwich.

Customer Service

Is it Jimmy John's policy not to bag to-go orders? Because when they said my order was ready I went up there to the counter and none of the food was in a bag.So I asked for a bag and she replied,"A bag or box?"and I said a bag and she said," They're right there." In other words help yourself.
It's pretty obvious when I order three to five items I'm going to need a bag or bags providing one bag is big enough for everything.I'm not going to walk out with all those items against my chest with no bag and possibly get food juices on my clothes.
So when I did bag my own items they were small paper lunch grade school bags with no handles.
Jimmy John needs to bag people's to go orders with handles on the bags by the time they call your order. This alone may be a deciding factor if people will go back or not.

I cannot support this operation

I cannot support this operation, no matter how good their food is because the owner of the main franchise is a 'big game hunter' and I despise killing for 'fun'...
