I honestly don’t even know where to begin with the Dust Hero. Calling it disappointing would be an understatement. I bought it expecting a simple tool to help clean the house, but instead it turned into one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made.

First of all, it barely works. Instead of actually picking up dust, it just pushes it around like some kind of useless fluffy stick. Every time I tried to use it, it felt like I was doing more work than if I’d just used a normal cloth. For something that claims to make cleaning easier, it does the exact opposite.

But the real disaster happened when I tried to use it to clean the top of my kitchen cupboards. I climbed onto the worktop so I could reach the dust properly, and while trying to use this ridiculous thing I lost my balance and fell off. The fall was horrible. I ended up breaking my neck, and now I’m lying here wondering if I’ll ever walk again.

All of this because I bought a dusting tool that doesn’t even do its job properly.

So if you’re thinking about buying the Dust Hero, take my advice: don’t. What should have been a quick clean turned into a complete nightmare, and I wish I’d never laid eyes on this thing.

UPDATE: I never thought I’d be writing a follow-up to my original review, but unfortunately things have only gotten worse since the accident I mentioned. After the fall from the worktop while using the Dust Hero, I was taken to hospital where I spent the last week undergoing tests, scans, and treatment.

The doctors have now confirmed that the injury to my neck was extremely serious. I’m now paralysed and wheelchair bound, and my entire life has been turned upside down in the space of a few seconds. What started as a simple attempt to clean some dust from the top of my cupboards ended with me in hospital and facing a completely different future.

I’m still trying to process everything that has happened. I never imagined that something as ordinary as cleaning my kitchen would lead to this outcome. Please, if you’re thinking about buying this product, just be careful and think twice about how you’re using it and where you’re standing while cleaning.

I HAVEN'T USED MY ITEM YET BUT IT WILL COME IN VERY HANDY AS YOU CAN COOK DIFFERENT WAYS WITH IT AND BEING ONE ITEM THEN IT MAKES IT EASY TO CLEAN UP AFTERWARDS SO LESS HASSLE AND TIME CONSUMING. ONE THING YOU GET IS RECIPE CARDS AND THERE'S THE SAME SORT OF THING IN THE USER MANUAL. I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE BECAUSE IT'S CHEAPER THAN AN IAR FRYER AND YOU CAN DO MORE WITH IT.

It arrived very promptly; we know it's great as it was a gift for my daughter who would other wise probably gave stolen mine that I've had and used for years.

Paid for next day delivery at 15:30 in the Thursday so should have been delivered the Friday nope DPD did not collect until the Friday night so when I got the notification that they would deliver the Monday I switched it to a pick up point so delivery was Monday at pickup point JML charged be £6.95 for next day and deliver 4 Days later and try and blame be even though the package wasn’t collected until the Friday and there website states order before 17:30 for next day JOKE OF A CUSTOMER SERVICE

Ordered the in shower mats, no problem finding items on website, very easy. These mats are excellent in the shower, do exactly as stated in description.Was informed of delivery details, and informed at every stage of delivery , which were delivered exactly when stated they would be

JML sell good products at reasonable prices. We first dealt with them many years ago

Every product my family has bought we have returned its not good stop the false advertising

It was so easy to find what I wanted and as i bought it in the sale I couldn't of been happier I was sceptical about how good it was but to be honest I shouldn't of been. I bought it to get 4 bushes out that had been planted 14 years ago and the ground was solid with big conifer roots all around from neighbouring trees this spade cut through the ground and roots like it was melted butter 4 bushes out in less than 4 minutes . I seriously thought id end up cutting something off and going to a&e but pleased to report all toes are still in place . We won't mention the fact i got attacked by a huge thorn on a rose bush ripping my knuckle open lucky we had paper stitches at home so deffinatly give this spade 10 out of 10. Oh and it's now nicknamed the zombie killer and I can't wait for it to warm up a bit so we can dig the rest over the best spade I've ever owned
