Misleading information regarding vintage
The web shop offers information about the wines as well as specific vintage. However, when you make a decision to purchase based on the vintage specified in the wine description, you may be negatively surprised when you receive the same wine, but random vintage. There is obviously a small print in the terms of conditions suggesting that vintage information is just an indication, and there are no guarantees that this will be respected, and you are advised to contact them before hand etc, but you need to read the small print first.
So be careful, when considering this shop for rare wines and specific vintages. There are other shops who are more transparent regarding vintage limitations and advise you immediately through the purchase process.
I got burnt with them with this shop overpaying for specific vintage, but instead got something completely else. They did offer refund, but you need to arrange and pay for the return delivery, which for the retail customer is quite complicated considering that you deal with large boxes of wine. Next time will shop somewhere else and would advise friends to stay away.
