Mini Joov with Stand

I bought my desktop version (I think it's called the mini) in December 2019. It has been working fine ever since. No problems. I like it!

Terrible company with unreliable products

What a terrible company. We bought 2 Joovv Quads for our wellness franchise, and owning them has been a constant headache for our staff. You can supposedly sync the 4 panels using either bluetooth connection or you can hardwire the panels in the back using aux cords. With either method, the panels constantly go out of sync, meaning not all 4 panels light up, and you can literally spend hours trying to get it to work with no success. By the way, I'm an engineer in my 30's and I know how to use technology very well. These products simply don't work as advertised.

Good luck trying to contact their customer service. There is no phone support. You have to send them an email, to which they will just send some generic response back.

We've also had to ship back 4 of the panels within a year because half of the lights stop working. As of our most recent RMA request, they said their company is no longer providing shipping labels for warranty repairs. Not only do we have to deal with the headache of this product not working, now we have to pay to ship it back even though it's under warranty. Customer service is clearly not a value at Joovv.

Our customers at our business have mentioned "your red light panels never seem to work." We agree with them, and it's frustrating we spent so much money on what seemed like a reputable company.

Shady, Dishonest, and the Worst Customer Service

Very shady business, reviews on their site are heavily filtered to manipulate and only allow the positive. If you follow their recommended exposure schedule "start with only 1-2 mins for 2-3 weeks slowly working up to 10 mins" then at the 60-days returns mark you only had 5 weeks of trial time not the full 8 at 10+ minutes daily where you're supposed to start seeing benefits. A clever ploy to leave you second guessing if their product even works.

Their standard policy is designed to deter you from returning; non-refundable shipping both ways & restocking fees if you throw out the cardboard caps or the polybag.

CS is oh so helpful up until your return window runs out, then you’re out luck. They might be in the health products business but could care less about you & turn into horrible human beings who will do everything in their power to make your life uncessarily difficult.

At my 2 months mark after daily use I wrote an honest review that basically the Mini made absolutely zero difference on anything except *maybe* quality of sleep. CS censored my review and educated me (ONLY after questioning why my review wasn’t posted) that "falling asleep" is not advised under their cleverly hidden disclaimer in the users manual - the stuff no one reads? their overpriced lightbox with built in safety auto-shut off is never to be “left unattended." Apparently not so safe, huh?

That discovery happened at only 9 days outside my return window, but they couldn't care less and won't allow an exception. In the chargeback dispute with my AMEX they LIED that I never reported any concern about the functionality of their product. Maybe red-light therapy works, I wouldn’t know, but I do know that JOOVV products don’t work. Save your $$$.

I failed to do proper research before…

I failed to do proper research before purchasing my Joovv on its competitors. After doing so, I realized the Joovv light was WAY overpriced for the power of the unit. I returned my Solo and purchased two RedRush 720s for nearly the price of one Joovv (RedRush ships free). Unfortunately, I was out the original shipping charge and also had to pay for return shipping. They refused to accept the boot / stand I returned because it was not in the original box, which was just a simple, plain cardboard box. So they charged me $175 for the boot for my failure to return a $1.00 box. Furthermore, they made me pay to ship it back to myself because they refused it. Buyer beware and do your research first! There are many options that emit higher power and are much cheaper.

Terrible experience, charged me $845 and failed to deliver my product, no refund, help or resolution from JOOVV

I preordered a JOOVV Generation 3 mini in November, it was shipped on Feb 28th, and the box arrived mangled, half empty and without the device in it. I promptly contacted JOOVV about the issue, took pictures, filed a fed ex claim, and JOOVV customer support was completely dismissive and failed to address the missing item. They would not authorize the claim I wished to claim with Fed Ex to help me either. I never received my item at all, which cost $845 and will never do business with JOOVV again if they can't even guarantee they will deliver the goods I paid for. Terrible customer service and company.

I ordered a light panel last week and Joovv sent it through Fed Ex from Utah to the San Francisco Bay Area. My Joovv light is sitting in Sparks Nevada. No tracking? Zero movement. I expect that I will eventually receive my Joovv light? This is also a Fed Ex Complaint as their company is notorious for being two weeks late on shipping, packages mangled and thrown anywhere. I complained both to Fed Ex ( knowing they are no help) and told Joovv. Stuart at Joovv is doing everything he can other than refunding the shipping fee. Denies this happening and they use Fed Ex... Ok? The customer made this up I guess? I give them two stars assuming package arrives in one piece? They should be concerned. But who cares? Def not fed ex and Joovv? Looks like they don't care either! The shipping fee is too important

Poor customer service and business practices

I tried to purchase the quad (A VERY EXPENSIVE PURCHASE) from the company. I had emailed regarding breaking up the payment between two invoices and they confirmed in writing this could be done. My home is for sale, but it could take well over a year to actually sell. I had mentioned this asking if the shipping address could be changed later if my house sold - since they have a 5-6 week lead time. Due to that, they refused to sell me the product. I even told them that if the house closed escrow, which I don't even have an offer and it would take at least 45 days to close escrow from the date an offer is signed (AGAIN I DON'T EVEN HAVE AN OFFER), I would work into the contract that if the product is shipped to this address (they only do curb side delivery so it would be outside the main gate of the home (since my home has it's own gate) that I can take delivery of it.

This is not professional to not sell someone a product because their home is for sell. My home may not even be in contract to sell for well over a year. I have NO offers now.

I will continue to pursue this issue as I do not feel a company has the right to NOT sell a product because a customer's home is on the market. If that is the case, they they CANNOT sell to others in the same situation. And I bet an audit of every customer that has purchased their product would show many customers buying products when their homes are for sell. They have NO legal right to refuse to sell the product!

Buyer beware

Buyer beware. Awful customer service. I pre paid and waited months and months for the actual delivery. The unit arrived while I was out of town too late for me to try out even for a week. The customer service would not allow me to extend even a week to try it out. The return process was a hassle. Fine to pay insured mailing but $50 to send back an unused item!

Don’t buy!!

Don’t buy!!

In my breast cancer recovery, it was recommended I use red light therapy to heal some chest wall issues and for general chemo healing. I was told by a few ladies to avoid this company, but I bought into the glam of a higher price point and I trusted their return policy. What a joke.

My $600 Go arrived broken. There’s no customer service number to call so you must communicate via email and are helped until you request a refund. Then the crazy begins.

Their process is to apply for a refund and this take days. Then you must have all of the originally packaging, which we did, and PAY a $50 restocking fee. You heard me. They make YOU pay to return the broken item they sent you.

Quite an ethical approach for a company toting ideas of your health as their concern.

I’m shocked. In this day and age when ethics is vital and at the forefront of everything, they charge people for their mistakes.

Get your act together. People communicate now about companies like this.

I’m working with an author about my breast cancer journey. This is making the cut.

Trash scam company -terrible customer service too

Trash scam company. Even looked at adding these to my clinics, but condescending and rude staff! Completely dishonest and unhelpful. Jordan in particular flat out said he was unwilling to help even though it was in his power to do so. I have the emails to prove it!

(on top of that, you would think when buying for clinics they would say hey we have a new model coming out. But no they let you purchase then two weeks later release another one. Companies that care especially B2B would tell you. Further not require you to pay for the shipping back.)

Jordan and Joovv are awful examples of companies in health preying on those that seek to improve their health. Do yourself a favor and buy anywhere but here.

Worst customer service experience with rude, condescending staff

I have never had a poorer experience with customer service. My package was running late and I needed assistance tracking it down and figuring out the issue. Not only did they offer no assistance other than repeating canned responses and linking the tracking number I already had, they outright refused to call the tracking company and left that up to me. Their products are not inexpensive. I don’t even have the product yet, but for the cost paid I expect a minimum of due diligence, root cause analysis and general problem solving. In addition to that, they are rude and condescending. I asked to see their shipping terms and conditions, but they would not provide (if would be helpful to know if they are FOB Destination). Buyer beware - if you ever have a single issue with their products, you will not be supported by their customer service... far from it, you will be treated disrespectfully. You will have to jump through hoops to invoke strenuous warranty requirements. Their lack of customer service completely invalidates the product for me. I would recommend staying far, far away from this company as their are much less expensive options out there who actually care about their customers.

Well I wish I would’ve read all these…

Well I wish I would’ve read all these reviews before I purchased because they’re all correct their customer service sucks it’s unbelievable to have a product that is that expensive and they really don’t care about their customers so I just received mine. My problem wasn’t that big of a deal I ordered the quad when it got here one of the boxes look like you’ve been through a war, one spot where the fork truck had smash down the top of the box was cracked and busted all over so I sent them a letter and pictures and their reply was doesn’t look like the light has any damage. I wrote back and said the lights still in the box this is the box you’re looking at and my point with this being is that I am worried that with all the tumbling and the dropping and the different things that went on on the outside of this box with a lighting system on the inside, it may cause it to have malfunctions and I would like to have it replaced at this point it’s been two days I have not received anything back. I will probably be returning all four lights for A full refund.
Very disappointed
