I used Joy online shop last year and while had some problems with using the website to order an item, they took ownership of the problem and went to a lot of trouble to make sure my order was fulfilled. I would definitely use them again.

Appalling service
Appalling service. Tried to order something via their website.
The order kept buffering which meant couldn’t purchase products. Site stated the customer care line was open from 9.00am. I rang and the voice message said customer care didn’t open until 10.00am. It was 11.00am. Tried several times and no one ever answered.
Emailed and got several responses one of which agreed that the person fielding customer care had the same issue when trying to order. She told me she was working solo and couldn’t answer calls and technical support could only suggest using a different email account and server. Bizarre response- an online shopping service that can’t take orders online via Safari/Firefox or via phone!
If my experience is typical they’ll be bust soon.

I ordered three items in April. Now we have end of November and I am still waiting for one item, for an answer of refund. Nothing! Really bad experience, even one star is too much.

I used to be a customer but since they changed their online shopping rules it became a nightmare to buy online. Delivery is super slow and they don’t do refunds at the store. When you send it back you don’t hear from them. A big store in Angel is closed now. I reckon they are gonna close down soon. You guys lost a customer.

- Items needed to be returned but arrived with no order slip or paperwork.
- Return postage comes at customer's own expense.
- Worst of all my refund of £110 took OVER A MONTH to reach my account!

Extremely pleased.
I have been trying to buy some large straw Tote bags but the ones I saw in other stores I did not like. My friend told me about this store and lo and behold, there were two lovely straw tote bags with raffia motives on the front and contrasting lining with a zip, they were both in the sale as well. I ordered them and they were delivered so very quickly and beautifully packed. I also received a free large sunglasses case which will be very useful.

I ordered a dress in the sale and it arrived within the week. Fits perfectly and I’m very happy. However I also received a big red sunglasses case with a £5 tag on. Is that normal? Anyone else receive free gifts when they order? It’s not really my thing, it’s kind of huge and I’d return it if they didn’t mean to send it. Although I’m not paying for postage!

To be honest they don't deserve 1 star. So disappointed with my daughters dress. Was made to measure, and the style is backless. Not what we were sent. Full back and cheap looking. Have sent photos and numerous emails, but they say it looks similar to the style ??? Nothing like. No refund offered. This was meant to be my daughters prom dress, but she doesn't want to wear it as it just isn't right. Very sad.
Do not waste your money.

Cheap quality clothing
I made a purchase of over $200.00, some of the clothing arrived almost a month later. I was dissatisfied with most of it, if not all of what I purchased due to the quality and styles of the clothing that was delivered. Especially, because the clothing did not look or match what I saw on the pictures shown on the website when I initially made the purchase. In addition, their website sometimes is not easily accessible. Furthermore, I received multiple bags with merchandise showing different sender’s addresses. So, I requested to know their official return address almost 2 weeks ago but have not yet received that information. I want to return everything immediately, please BEWARE!

I have updated my comment from one star to two star because after filing a claim with PayPal, and sending it two complaints to Joy (with absolutely no response) I have at least received a refund. Hopefully everyone else experiencing this problem will also get their money back even if they don’t get any messages from customer service.
Bad customer service setup
I love Joy clothes and have bought items in the past but the business isn't set up for a good customer experience. I asked about a dress that I wanted to try on I'd seen on the website, but they couldn't order it in as it was only on the website not at another store. So when I asked if I ordered it online, could I try it on and return it to the store I was told no, you have to pay the expense of returning it by post. It just makes you not want to bother, as it's too much hassle. Listen to your customers Joy and we might want to shop with you.

Me too - no refund. Returned two items 3 weeks ago, not heard a thing from Joy. I have filled in their contact form online, emailed them and called them (you get a message to say the phone numbers are unavailable) - nothing other than the automated email responses. DON'T BUY ANYTHING from them something is going on.

I sent the clothes back and didn’t get a refund or any response. It has now been 6 weeks since the items were returned.
Customer service won’t reply to emails and the phone line is dead.
Now trying to get the money back through PayPal.

AVOID! I ordered a dress on March 14th for 4-day delivery, 3 weeks later it didn't arrive and I don't have a bridesmaids dress. They are NOT based in the UK and are SCAMMERS! They gave me a tracking number that led to a blank page, then sent another email saying it would be sent! They are NOT based in the UK and are SCAMMERS!
Absolutely horrendous customer service
Absolutely horrendous customer service. I ordered several items and only two of them arrived. The others had been crossed through with a handwritten note to say ‘refunded’ on the order form but I had not received any email to let me know some of the items were now out of stock. I checked the website and all the items they had not sent me were still showing as in stock! I contacted Joy to ask what was going on and received an email to say they were out of stock (still showing as in stock on the website!) and they gave me a 10% discount code, which I clearly was not going to use as why would I order from somewhere when half the items never turn up! I returned one dress from my original order 3 weeks ago and have heard nothing. I’ve sent customer services 3 emails but received absolutely no response.
Dreadful customer service. Another customer lost.
Placed an order for seven items of jewellery. Was charged for seven items. Only 4 items were delivered with 'refund' scrawled in pen against the 3 items not delivered. No refund received. Joy customer service confirmed that I would be refunded but that it might take 21 days. I then realised that one of the delivered items was delivered in the wrong size and didn't fit. Emailed customer services twice to ask what to do about this (not keen to post back at my own expense and incur yet more costs). No reply to either of my emails. Dreadful customer service. I will never order from this company again and I have ordered many times from them in the past.
