I have used just Eat for a few years, but over the last 8 months, their service has been atrocious, food arrives cold and with items missing, after contacting the restaurants and being given proof that my full order was given to the delivery driver, it shows me that Just Eat does not care about who they employ.

Idiot Just Eat delivery rider cycling recklessly and illegally. Went through red traffic light in Upper Brook Street Ipswich. 12:22hrs 31/08/26. DO YOUR STAFF NOT UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF A RED LIGHT?

Me and my wife ordered food while at a Airbnb property on the notes to the restaurant we explained this and ask for the driver to ring us once outside well they didn't bother to ring us and after hour half waiting the app said food was delivered we rang 3 numbers to the restaurant none worked 4th number was lucky and worked once on the phone that bloke and on the food first said had no order at all for us and hung up the phone rang again this time I told him again we placed the order through just eat and he then somehow found it and said was no answer hung up on me yet again I rang again said where is our food or give us refund he said we cant deliver to a Airbnb I said why can't you why didn't you ring the like we asked in the notes for you to do he then said he did and the number was wrong and hung up again anyway we contacted just eat explained everything through three different emails going back and forth basically the restaurant saying we come to a agreement to collect the food Lies why would we want to go collect food that was made 2 hours before and was half hour walk to just go collect we received no refund just eat just allows you to be robbed and does nothing about it me and my wife have closed both our accounts and will not being giving them a penny of our money ever again I will happy give it to other companies that vaule there customers

I waat sent the wrong order (my name is Joshua apparently) but Just Eat refused to give me a refund. I even sent photos of the receipt and food that clearly showed it wasn't what I ordered but no, I was told:

"We've looked into everything in detail to see what we can do. On this occasion, we're unable to offer a refund or compensation based on all the information we have."

Absolutely appalling customer service which is a shame as after years of using Just Eat, this is the first and last time that this will happen.

Do not order from this company. Ordered food , took my money . Nothing delivered. Even the restaurant told me they hadn't delivered as no driver . No refund

If I could give 0 Stars I would. Ordered a McDonald’s worth £58.54p order collected but never delivered. Contacted Just eat who refused a refund but would not show us proof it was delivered. Eventually managed to get a refund through Pay Pal in our favour. Will never ever use this company again and where are all these missing meals going? McDonald’s contacted also and the Manager said this is a regular occurrence just WOW!

Food arrived wet like it been dropped in a puddle. Soggy wet poppadoms and water in takeaway curry box. Refused refund so all in all not the evening I had planned with family. Won't use Just Eat again

I can't even comprehend the disgraceful treatment I've been faced with by this horrible company, from ordering a takeaway as I have mobility issues and don't drive I paid the over pricing through the just eat APP £45

Was made at 17:05pm it was delivered at 19:07pm - I had to phone the takeaway 6 times which they didn't know I had ordered the first three times on the phone as they only had one guy delivering several different orders at a time and said its on the way 29 minutes later from this it was delivered cold, pizzas in the bin nothing else was right,
So I made a complaint against the order only to be fobbed off by justeat saying there's nothing we can do about a late order that's wrong - cold - tasteless - and extremely unhappy with the service overall given no offer of a Partial refund just said nothing we can do,
Total disgraceful company to order from and to work for unless you come on a banana boat illegally.

Just awful. Time and time again. Horrendous customer service.

Food was dead late but Tom is sound, top lad.

Arrived 2.5hrs after order, they just kept changing the delivery time. When it finally arrived it was missing one of the main meals - phoned the provider after an hour and food was ready for pick up, so we know the food we received was over an hour old - waste of time complaining as its all bots (how do you provide photographic evidenceof a missing item) - do yourself a favour and pickup yourself.

This company will take your money, not provide you with what you have paid for then say they have looked into it thoroughly and not provide a refund for what you paid for! No trust or customer service at all!

No drinks arrived with the meals we paid for! Took the money and that’s it!

Really bad and disappointing service. Few items from the order were missing and no one to contact or help with the matter. Awful avoid if you can.

Wouldn’t even give this 1 star to be honest, ordered food that took over an hour to even be picked up, then the driver went 10mins away from where we lived to deliver other orders, couldn’t cancel order as they wouldn’t allow us too, food arrived cold 30mins after leaving the restaurant, absolute joke, no refund, disgusting service, will be using uber eats from now on!!!

Paid. Food not delivered. No refund. Very disappointed.
Edit. From 1 to two star. I was refused a refund 3 times but was persistent and wrote a long descriptive email to a senior at just eat. Got refund eventually. Shame it took so much stress and effort. I still don’t know where my food went but just eat please sort your processes.

Ordered from morisons cafe someone elses shopping was delivered they refused a refund because i didnt take photos im not a coueier why should i have to ive intiated a chargeback

Just like everyone here. I have learned too late to never use justeat!
Ordered from jasmine garden Chinese takeaway in Lewisham and received a wrong order (mine came to £50 & received someone else order worth about £15)
Rang restaurant who said have to sort with just eat!
Just eat have now said can’t help and refused my refund even though the restaurant admits the mistake!
People spread the word on this dishonest company.
I will contact the newspaper and try get them to do a consumer report on this bunch of clowns.

The delivery driver stole my food. Whilst this is somewhat expected... unfortunately, I'm irate with Just Eat protocol.

Couldn't get through to any human, used their chat device to no avail. Also I'm left hungry and I don't currently have my money back in my account or the guarantee of it.

This is not how to conduct business nor did I formerly use to experience the customer service like this in the past.

Had to use Uber for a true alternative.

Absolute scum of the earth i ordered a takeaway waited all night and never received anything. They refused my refund completely they should be put out of business. Everyone should avoid just eat use other platforms.

Just to update i have repeatedly asked just it for proof of delivery which they keep refusing to give. As they know it never happened. Yet they refuse to refund me.

Just Eat do not value their customers or good customer service. They seem to think they have the weight and monopoly to run all over people and our long established consumer rights laws. I’ve just gone through months of hassle with the bank in chargeback protocols to defend this right when Just Eat made a mistake with my order. Mistakes happen, I get that, but it’s important to do the right thing and repair it when they do occur. I was delivered someone else’s grocery order instead of mine, but instead of either fixing it, or refunding me, they would only offer me account credit which is illegal as best I understand it, and just really poor customer service. I refuse to use them again. It was pretty despicable and could easily have been avoided by just being decent, ethical and customer focused.
