Terrible service

Terrible service. Trying to track an order. No way of speaking to a real person who can help. Bought one of their products as a birthday gift - no idea if it will arive on time. So bad.

3rd purchase

I am literally left with no more words to describe this brand’s products! This is my 3rd purchase, I already own a Bali medium back pack for work, a Fyn backpack as a gift for my mum that she adores and uses for work as well and a Skara bag for strolls and when I am out for the day. Literally they are the best in quality and style but also the ergonomic design and very thoughtful and useful pockets within the bags. And while I thought I cannot be more impressed I recently bought the Lisbon pro for traveling and it just arrived today… Speechless! I might add again that the product is exactly as shown is pictures but once you feel the material you are really understand the high quality and care the brand put into the products. The Lisbon Pro backpack has so many spaces and pockets to put everything you are going to need on a trip. I really like how thick and soft is the back of the bag for supporting human backs so I guess it would be very convenient. I will comment again once I use it but my first impression is just wow! The brand has really given their products much care and attention to detail to capture every need concerning usage, comfort and definitely style! Kudos!

Aluminum protector fell off

I bought a set of 2 Heathrow luggage’s, made 2 or 3 airplane travels and aluminum protector fell dow, another one is also lose. I contacted customer service to deliver the set of protectors but had to return the luggage to the place I bought it, and I bought them on a trip I made to a Germany. It’s going to be cheaper to throw them away.
They are nice but didn’t last last.

Reasons why I am Happy

What I do? (For context) : I am a 23M young professional in engineering.

Bought the Bali Walnut Backpack for a travel/work backpack from the experience store in London. My key parameters for my new backpack was:

1. Safe and soft laptop sleeve/compartment.
2. Water Repellent.
3. Deep compartment to store my books, headphones and a tech pouch without it getting messed up.
4. An easy access pocket/compartment for items such as battery packs, passport etc.
5. Minimalistic looks.

I wasn’t concerned with the sustainability side of things i’ll be very honest, but I am glad to see the company taking steps to ensure the same.

Review:

1. Even thought a bit larger in terms of length for an EDC, but is super useful if you want to carry your gym or overnight clothes. When I travel I put a rectangular tech pouch sitting comfortably at the bottom with my 11’ Ipad, a book, a beefy 20k mAh and a pair of headphones with plenty of space remaining for smaller items. I am not great at organising so goo enough to just throw things in sometimes. The mesh pocket in the flap is useful for other smaller items.

2. The top section is where I keep my wallet, passport, some tissues, a small disposable film camera , a small magsafe power bank and other small stuff I need to keep handy. The small pocket in this compartment is where I keep an airtag for obvious reasons.

3. The 3rd pocket in the front is not something I use extensively , or maybe haven’t found anything to keep there as of yet but it’s better to have it and not need it.

4. The laptop compartment is snug which means not much movement for my laptop and is an easy to use. However would recommend either using a skin on your laptop to prevent it getting scratched by the zippers while sliding it in or out.

5. For longer travels where I am carrying a large amount of items, the top compartment can be opened to make the backpack deeper.

6. It feels comfortable on the shoulders, the cushioning was adequate on the both the straps and the back.

7. The side bottle holder was something I was skeptical about as I am used to mesh elasticated pockets but they turned out to be amazing. They don’t come in the way of ruining the bags look by blending in with the bag properly while being flexible enough to hold a bottle properly.

I sometimes use it for holding my beefy power bank as well which is great.

8. I haven’t tried cleaning it yet but I was told that it’s easy to clean. The bag comes with a sponge incase you need to clean which I think is a really nice touch.

Overall I am really happy with my purchase and would be going back to this brand in the future for similar purposes.

Suggestion: I would appreciate if you guys are able to add a pocket on the straps for small items such as airpods or maybe just a lip balm for added convenience so that I don’t have to remove my backpack every-time I need it.

Do not buy if you want durability

I bought Kapten and son for its durability and therefore sustainability, however after 2,5 years I can already buy a new bag. The top of the bag, The fake leather is completely crumbling down. I wish I could share a picture on here. The customer service did not want to help me because I bought it in a shop. Do not buy if you want durability

Poor customer care

Placed my order on Black Friday and still haven't received my product. After offering a refund or re-shipping the customer care team decided to withdraw their offer and that I should be patient in waiting for my order. They offered zero compensation for the fact that I have not received my order placed well over a month and refused all responsibility.

Ordered a product at the start of…

Ordered a product at the start of December for a Christmas present, but it never arrived. It took them till the end of December to ship a new one, so missed Christmas and then refused to take any responsibility and offered no compensation for the massive inconvenience. Awful customer service, would not recommend.

Fast and Beautiful!

Bad customer service - product not delivered

I made my original order more than a month ago. I received a faulty product ( with a delayed delivery), which I returned promptly, and through my communication with the customer service, I was assured that I will receive a replacement in 5 working days. The last update from them was that there will be a delay in the delivery, and that was 10 days ago. Honestly, this is bad customer service, and I fail to understand why is it so difficult to deliver a product that I have purchased more than a month ago.

Bergen Pro backpack is not designed for 16-inch laptops

Bergen Pro backpack looks great and is of excellent quality. However, the page states that the backpack can hold a 16-inch laptop. The label on the backpack states that the computer compartment is designed for a 15-inch laptop. Currently, the online store page states that it can hold 15.6 and 16-inch computers (there was no information about the 15.6 computer at the time of purchase). I tried to put an HP EliteBook 860 G11 in the backpack, which is also a 16-inch laptop, but it did not fit. It can be forced into place, but the edges of the computer cut into the artificial leather fragment very much and as a result the backpack will wear out very quickly. I doubt whether a 15.6-inch computer would fit in the dedicated compartment, because their lengths are very similar.
If the bottom of the laptop compartment were in the same place as the general bottom of the backpack - this problem would not exist and 16-inch devices would fit without problems.
When I put my hand into the bottom of the backpack, I can find that the bottom of the laptop compartment is raised by at least 2 centimeters.
It is very angry and sad that such a great backpack has such a suboptimal design, and the seller is misleading buyers by changing the description.

Stolen item from company, zero customer care

The company failed to return my item and informed me that it had been disposed of, despite having all the necessary information to return it properly. I lost almost 200 EUR because of that and they don't care. Based on this experience, I would advise caution when dealing with this company, as I found them to be unreliable and fraudulent.
