The worst customer service I ever experienced

This must be the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. To be honest I don't think they have anyone doing customer services or even that they are still trading. Their website is now just a single page with an activist slogan encouraging people to vote. The email given on the page simply bounces back. I ordered an item in October and money was taken from my account right away. After nothing arrived for 2 weeks I start to email customer services and got no response from several emails. I tracked down a phone number and left several messages. Still no response. After 6 weeks the item arrives then I finally receive an email 2 days later from Davide (previously mentioned in another review) telling me the item is dispatched! Unfortunately the item was too large so I returned it. By now it's the end of November. 2 months later I have had no refund, no reply to emails, no reply to voice messages. There is little else I can do other than continue to send messages or visit their offices which is extreme. My impression is that they are probably no longer actively trading. It's a shame as I have a lot of respect for the brand, the designer and sympathise with the issues her activism raises. The problem is if you are taking money from people and not fulfilling your own obligations as a business, the activism doesn't ring true. If you want to improve how the world is run you need to make sure you fulfil your own responsibilities first.

Will happily take your money but does not send your order

I was very excited to place my first order for some Katharine Hamnett clothes are receving emails from them for many months. After 5 days and no word of a dispatch date I emailed customer services asking if my order has shipped despite their website saying everything ships within 24 hrs and international express delivery takes 2-5 business days. No word. Finally a few days later I get an interesting email from a 'Davide' mocking me for thinking my order would arrive in 24 hrs from the UK to NZ. I never suggested that, how ridiculous. He was basically bluffing and fluffing and still didn't tell me the status of my order. I replied to his email and another week went by an nothing. I emailed customer services again and that message has so far been ignored. It's all very well being an activist but if you run a e-commerce website you don't just take peopler's money. I am shocked and disappointed that m first every transaction with KH has gone so very wrong. I am so disappointed.

Update: I've just received a surprise refund for one of the orders, and to add insult to injury the amount I received back is less than the amount I paid. SO I have basically paid money to Katharine Hamnett for this terrible experience. This just keeps getting better and better.

Awful customer service

Purchased a lot of items. Wanted to return three of them: two were dirty and one did not fit. Customer service did not come back to me for 8 days now! Left several voice mails and emails. Shocked! Want to send everything back now

KATHARINE HAMNETT - WHAT AN EXPERIENCE.

What a fantastic experience. KH is a blast from the past. I used to wear KH when I was younger (in the 1990s) and loved her designs. The label Katharine Hamnett brings back so many happy memories.

I only wish she would invest in bricks rather than clicks and resurrect her eponymous label once and for all and reintroduce her Katharine E Hamnett, Katharine Hamnett Classic and Katharine Hamnett Denim ranges. Not forgetting Hamnett Active !!!!

Vive la mighty KH :)
