I ordered a book in early September. The latest the book was meant to arrive was late October. We are in December and I am still waiting. No refund, no replacement, no tracking information, no “hey, we are sorry it’s taking so long. Here is why…”, nothing. If you are taking people’s money you absolutely should be sending updates or be prepared to give refunds when you don’t fill the order. I can understand things being late and I can understand things being out of stock, but taking over 3 months and STILL no word is just unacceptable. I’ll never order from them again and if you want to actually receive your order, on time, I wouldn’t trust them if I were you. It seems about 20% of the time or so you’re not going to get what you paid for.

It would be helpful if Kennys indicated the validity period of their gift/book tokens on the tokens themselves and their website. I tried to order books using some remaining credit on a gift token and the token's code was not accepted. The gift token was issued 11 months previously. Gift tokens in Ireland, according to the Irish Consumer Protection law are valid for at least 5 years unless otherwise stated by the issuer. I inquired with Kennys by email about the validity period of their tokens but all I got back were automatic replies excusing the delay in answering or a message saying the matter has been referred to their IT dept. with no follow up. I have been ordering Books from Kennys for years but will no longer do so.

Ordered 3 books on October 2nd. 1 was delivered. The other 2 remain in processing for reasons unexplained. Kennys has not deniged to respond to multiple emails. Their customer service seems non existent now.
As of Nov 7, matters have been resolved to my satisfaction.

Placed order on 14th October and it's still showing as "in processing" on 27th Oct. I haven't received an explanation or update from Kenny's and no response to my emails.
Extremely poor service.

I have purchased books from this place on two separate occasions. Both times, nearly a week has passed before they contact me to cancel the order and say there was an 'error with their stock levels'. I wouldn't waste my time with them again.

I bought over many years without issue. A recent order had most books damaged due to imadequate packaging and it took ages to resolve as CS did not respond. Against my better judgement I ordered again and one book was missing. Over a week since CS informed and no reply. Unfortunately a once-excellent company are now careless with order processing and packaging and their customer service is non-existent. Never again.

Love ordering books from Kennys - service is excellent the books arrive so quickly!

I've generally always had a good experience here, but I wish they would offer a loyalty card system for long-standing customers.

I had an order that did not arrive originally, but they were very friendly and accommodating just note that the communication is not instantaneous as it goes through emails, so have patience. They sent a replacement and it arrived, very happy with the book.

It's been 3 months. Book never arrived, replacement didn't arrive either. I doubt they have been sent at all. Beware.

My first time ordering from Kennys Bookshop. I was searching for a new version of an 'out of print' paperback book. I was delighted to find it available on the Kennys Bookshop website. I was informed that delivery would take 20-25 working days and the book was delivered perfectly wrapped much sooner. If a book is available on the Kennys Bookshop website, they will do their best to find it for you. Kennys Bookshop is my new "Book Depository".

The selection of books and the prices are great not to mention free and fast delivery in Ireland. I love to support local and it’s easy to do so with a great shop like this. Will definitely be ordering again!

Excellent service. Book arrived in excellent condition fully bubble wrapped in a strong carton. Can't ask for more than that.

Hi Margaret here, I ordered books a few weeks ago, may take a little longer to be delivered, but I had saw that on their reviews , had a small issue with one of the books. I emailed them and got a quick reply. Romana sorted the problem out immediately for me, the customer care I received was very much appreciated, so thank you romana and kennys book store.

I read some far from complimentary reviews but decided to give Kenny's Bookshop a try and the result was a perfectly good all round experience. The book arrived quickly into the UK and was well packed. The book itself is in excellent condition. I will definitely add the shop to my list for the future when I am trying to find the more rarer publications at good prices.

Brilliant service. I ordered Harry Potter Minalima book on 21st December (evening time) and i got delivered literally on 23rd December before 10 o’clock. I wasn’t expecting it, as Christmas time, but received a pleasant surprise. Book in perfect condition, no issues and those illustrations. Seriously, something out of this world. Ended up ordering second part as well.
