Very helpful regarding the broken handle of my border spade. Vouchers were issued to purchase a replacement (had to add some towards it to cover postage costs and to get like for like) Express deliver... See more

Sadly the child's fork didn't match my 3 year olds passion for digging and it bent rather spectacularly when he hit something in the soil. However I emailed customer services and had a reply in about an hour offering a replacement to be sent out. So whilst quality was not as I'd hoped the customer service was excellent and resolved the issue very satisfactorily and makes up for it.
Kent and Stowe hedge shears absolute waste of money......had them less than 3 months.....barely used......blades don't meet...can't tighten them up.
Took them back to place of purchase...with receipt......but they would not refund/replace.
Our Kent and Stowe garden shears broke but because I bought these in Ireland they say they cannot replace as per their promise. Even though these can still be bought in this country K&S cannot manage to get a local retailer to replace. I would never buy any of their products again as they are not to be trusted. Their offer of vouchers for shops I don't use which is pointless.
I am trying to get a replacement handle for my shovel, as it snapped. The shovel is only a year old. You can not get through on the phone...it just cuts off. The opening hours are 10-4pm but at 11-11.40am no one answers. Kathy called, and apologised, as the phones aren't working.
My spade broke, I rang customer services and spoke with Sue who asked me "could I send a photo" I did
and within a week received a replacement spade.

Thank Youi
Garden fork barely 3 years old and one of the tines snapped clean off. The one I had at the back of the shed is probably over 60 years old and finished the job. I won't be replacing with this brand.
I bought Kent & Stowe as it appeared to be a high quality long lasting brand….how wrong I was. Spade is two years old and the metal “snapped” between the handle and blade.
The garden centre tell me that the manufacturer was sold, although they have the same name, and therefore the guarantee is not valid!
Border Fork
Tines bent out of shape under light strain. Straightened them out in as vice. Used again on soil that was already well dug over. Fork tines bent out of shape again. Repeated as before several times same result. Conclusion is the metal is far too malleable.
Absolutely useless not fit for me purpose.
I bought a pair of gardening gloves, not expensive, only checked that I bought the right size. On snipping the plastic tags found that I have two right hand gloves!!!
Useless.
Just bought a 3 edged Kent and Stowe hoe(£30.00). The label requested registering online at kentandstowe.com. It took a while to realise that I should register with Westland. Now I find that they are not registering K&S products. The hoe has a 15 year guarantee. My fear is that when the product fails they will not be interested, if you have not lost the original label and receipt.
I had a garden fork as gift. Whilst digging out a deep seated weed the two central tines fractured - something I thought impossible with stainless steel.
I contacted customer service and the lady could not have been more helpful. Sent a replacement fork straight away. The five star rating is therefore for the service not the product. I hope the new fork lasts longer!
I bought a widget for removing weeds in my vegetable garden. The tool was comfortable to use but snapped 30mm short of the handle. There was no real strain on the tool to cause this. The shop where I bought this changed this out for me. Exactly the same fault has happened again in the same place. It seems to be some form of metal fatigue caused in in Manufacturing. I have lost faith in the brandy ability to manufacture durable tools.
Yours sincerely,
Matthew Hatton
£35 for a lawn edger, you would expect it to be good?! The head was not a perfect fit so had some wobble but the main thing was there was no cutting edge, just a fancy-shaped thick piece of steel. This didn't cut through the lawn but merely dragged the grass down with it. Poorly designed and not good to use so sent it back.
Recieved a set of avnil loppers as a gift, on the first use the anvil, made of some weak alloy snapped!
I bout a hand fork with a supposedly 15yr guarantee. Two of the prongs have snapped off. When I tried to contact the
I got an email stating because of covid all warehouses were closed. They said they would be in touch but I’ve heard nothing!! Appalling customer service and products
i have just bought fork and long handled trowel. i had difficulty finding the website but noticed on the label that it seems to be owned by Westland so its their website that you register your guarantee on. lets hope they live up to their reputation
Bought a lawn aerator last year and came to use it this year and it snapped right off the handle. Not the quality I expect from K & S
Purchased Kent & Stowe cross over secateurs 6 months ago. Used carefully but now one blade has become loose and needs replacing. Cannot trace Kent & Stowe's web site, email address or phone number to arrange repair.

Top cut shears appear to work fine on first use, but disappointed not to have a smooth experience trying to register the guarantee. The website situation needs changing or the labelling on the product adjusted to reflect a service that doesn't seem to be available any more.
Bought 2-in-1 Ratchet Anvil Secateurs for £19.99 from my local Ruxley Manor garden centre three weeks ago. I needed this to assist me as I have arthritis in my hands. Unfortunately ratchet function does not work at all. Contacted the manufacturers who were unhelpful.
