Very helpful regarding the broken handle of my border spade. Vouchers were issued to purchase a replacement (had to add some towards it to cover postage costs and to get like for like) Express deliver... See more

Bought 2-in-1 Ratchet Anvil Secateurs for £19.99 from my local garden centre on 22/3/22. On usage noticed immediately how stiff the safety lock is, this is made worse by the 2 in 1 ratchet function breaking immediately. Such poor quality, bought because of name but feel totally let down. Cant really afford this type of mistake. It does not say where they were made. Total disappointment made worse by the waste of time now in having to return them.
Would definitely not recommend this item.
Got in touch with customer service about a broken cord on our tree pruner and within days they sent a new cord.
Excellent service and customer service lady was so nice. Thank you. Devon
We bought a bunch of stainless hand trowels, transplanting trowels, hand forks and garden life hand forks, some to use in the garden and some to leave at our allotment. They're good - comfortable to use, easy to clean, haven't bent (yet) and appear well made and durable so I would give the tools 5 stars. That's the good news, I only gave 2 stars because you can't register the 15 year guarantee which was the main reason for choosing this make in the first place. I now see from reading other reviews that this isn't new. The tags still say register at kentandstowe.com (which doesn't seem to exist) but you're sent to gardenhealth.com where you can't register either! It'll be interesting to see what happens if I ever need to use the "guarantee"...

My experience is that there is nowhere to register a guarantee…. Why not? I’ll ask that again in case it is missed - why are they no longer registering the guarantees? It seems like a scam to advertise it. Do they offer refunds? Or just replacements? I just bought one as a gift but now I’m worried about it.

Contacted customer service regarding a broken spade with 15 year guarantee, after sending the invoice and photograph a replacement being sent to me. Excellent customer service. All taken care of in no time. Would definitely use again
Bought a kids fork for my 3 year old son to help in the garden. One of the prongs bent out of shape within 15 minutes of use. Very disappointed by the quality, thought we would pay more for longevity

I purchased a hand bulb planter in May, and when I came to use it, the handle bent where it joined the cylinder. It eventually snapped off.
I contacted the garden centre where I purchased it, and they said that I can have a full refund.
With many bulbs to plant, I was hoping that this tool would make the job easier, but not at all.
Bought a tree lopper two years ago and the handle came loose.Contacted customer services who requested a photo of the fault.Replied same day to say they would send me a replacement which arrived yesterday.Excellent service.
I am trying to register the 15 year guarantee but this is impossible. The sight does not exist.
No response from customer services.

Bought a Kent & Stowe Turbo Saw for my father. For trimming things that secateurs can't handle.
It's sort of like a folding plasterboard saw. On first use, the locking mechanism failed, and the blade closed while my father was holding the handle. Luckily, he dropped it in time.

I bought a Kent & Stowe Topiary Hedge Shears recently. It cost EURO 39.95 in Johnstown Garden Centre, Co. Kildare. The blades keep coming loose, no matter how much I tighten them. I will bring it back.
I will be slow to buy another Kent & Stowe product.

Refunded, with an apology, by Johnstown Garden
Centre.

Purchased Kent and Stowe secateurs with a 5 year guarantee. Tried to register the guarantee, no such site,
Guarantee worthless. I suggest anybody considering K and S products to buy another reputable brand. Any garden product retailer should consider removing K and S products from their shelves.

Lawn & leaf rake appears well made but the advertised 15-year guarantee which was an attractive feature turns out to be misleading. The product registration website is non-existent :( !

The guarantee on Kent and Stowe is non existent its just a way of getting you to buy their products.
The registration site does not exist, you end up on Westland site, I have asked them if this is anything to do with them, they just do not reply. So best thing to do is DON'T BUY Kent and Stowe simply because if anything goes wrong you will not get your money back.

My old spade snapped so I bought a Kent and Stowe spade as it had a 15 year guarantee. Have to go online to register but this is not currently possible, and by the look of previous reviews, hasn't been working for a while. Also, seem to be lots of failures - so not looking good.

I have been plagued with dandelions in my lawns, but not anymore. Today I bought a Long Handled Daisy Weeder, and in
about 2 hours I cleared every dandelion out of my lawn. Yes, they'll probably come back, but I'll be ready for them with my LHDW.
having trouble with registering my telescopic hedge shears

Half-Moon Edger looks great, but noticed it was bending out shape at shaft on first use. Managed to straighten it however every time I use it I have the same issue. The metal shaft is either far too slender or made of a too malleable steel alloy. After 1 year and very little use, it’s going into the recycling bin.

Unfortunately when I bought the saw I didn't read that the cutting saw only cuts up to 50mm yet it says 'ideal for cutting branches that are too large for loppers and secateurs '. Also says 'for cutting large branches '. Very misleading. Not worth the money.
Bought a Kent & Stowe long handled 3 prong cultivator a month ago, I have used it twice in light soil. The second time I used it the head snapped clean off where it's welded into the collar at the end of the handle.
I tried to register the product on their web page which was a complete waste if time & proved impossible.
Purchased via Amazon so now trying for a refund but after reading these product reviews I'm not too hopeful. I will buy something less petty but more robust next time.
