As parents of a 10 and 15-year-old, we've been travelling the world full-time as a family since 2019. Over the past few years we've crossed multiple continents, lived in different countries, and regularly moved between time zones, all while wanting to provide our children with a consistent, high-quality education.
King's InterHigh has been a huge part of making that possible.
Whether we've been in Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam or elsewhere, our children have been able to continue following the British curriculum without their education being interrupted every time we crossed a border. That continuity has been invaluable.
One of the biggest strengths for us has been the flexibility. Live lessons are engaging, but when travel days, unreliable internet or time differences occasionally get in the way, having access to lesson recordings means our children never fall behind. As a nomadic family, that feature alone has removed so much stress.
Our children have grown in confidence and independence. Rather than spending hours commuting to and from school, they have more time for exploring the places we visit, learning about different cultures firsthand, and pursuing interests outside the classroom. For us, this combination of structured education and real-world experiences has been the perfect balance.
The teachers have consistently been supportive, knowledgeable and approachable. Communication has been good, and the online platform has become second nature for both our children.
Online schooling isn't for every child, but for families who travel, live overseas, relocate frequently or simply want more flexibility, King's InterHigh has been an excellent choice.
Choosing King's InterHigh is one of the best decisions we've made for our children's education. It has given them stability while allowing us to continue living the lifestyle we've dreamed of as a family.
We would happily recommend it to other travelling, expatriate and worldschooling families looking for an accredited education that can genuinely move with them.

Really positive experience with Kings IH in the primary and middle schools. 'Sen' friendly, flexible timetables, interactive lessons and on the whole fun, fair and friendly teachers. Support side has been good and there is a vibrant parent community on the various groups. This year we especially enjoyed the in-person meets ups and school trips to London (Zoo & Museums) - meeting staff, parents and seeing the kids interact. My kid especially enjoys the music, drama, film and arts subjects and the end of term shows/ galleries and competitions. Definitely recommend this school.

We had a wonderful experience with KIH. I’m truly grateful to the entire team for their support throughout our time there.
The teachers were kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about the students. Whenever there was an issue or concern, they would always reach out by message or phone, which made us feel supported and involved.
The lessons were engaging and varied, and the online platform was very convenient, with everything students needed in one place.
I highly recommend KIH. It is an excellent option for families looking for a high-quality online education in a caring and supportive environment.
Our family is very thankful for everything KIH has done for our children. We wish the entire team continued success and all the best!

We have been using this service for three years, but the last year has been an absolute nightmare.
Our child's account was blocked while an invoice dispute was still unresolved, despite our repeated attempts to resolve the issue. The customer service is terrible—emails are ignored, communication is poor, and there is no accountability.
I definitely would **not recommend this company** to any parent. Save yourself the stress and choose a provider that values its customers.

We were really looking forward to starting our home schooling journey, but unfortunately our first experience has been very disappointing. We were unable to access the learning platform on our first day due to technical issues, meaning our daughter missed her induction and the start of her lessons.
What made this even more frustrating was that, over the phone, we were told the induction session where she would have met her teachers and classmates and been able to ask questions was highly recommended. We have now been told she will simply have to watch a recording of it instead, which completely defeats the purpose of a live induction where students are meant to interact and get to know everyone.
While the support team acknowledged there was an issue and said they were working to resolve it, this has had a significant impact, especially considering we have paid over £1,000 for the last 2 weeks of term. We appreciate that technical issues can happen, but we expected much better communication and a clear plan to make up for the missed induction and lessons. At the moment, our first impression has been very disappointing.

It was a great experience. It was our first time trying online schooling, and it worked very well. The programme has a very positive and effective approach for children. Overall, it was a really good experience.

I cannot fault the KS2 provision from KingsIH it is nurturing, supportive and has a top quality education programme. Core subjects, plus arts, humanities and MFL are offered as standard, and more can be added if wished. PE is Joe Wicks style, and circle time (with great life lessons such as Money Doesn't Grow on Trees) and assembly complete the week. Further wellbeing sessions are also offered if desired. There are a plethora of after-school clubs. Staff are understanding and learning is flexible, so you can go over things at your own pace, or watch lessons at a different time to the live ones. Kids do need to be tech savvy.
Many of the children have arrived at Kings because they have struggled in physical school, or SEN have not been met. KingsIH provides a safe environment and support for dyslexia and neurodiversity etc. Plus, there are children online from all over the world which is great for cultural exposure and networking.
There are physical meet-ups and trips so you can meet your class and teachers in 'real life'.
The education has been far superior to the state primary provision that my children received.
The most notable social differences I see are that bullying is not tolerated (unlike at my children's last school where a blind eye was turned to bullying), and that children are treated equally, regardless of wealth or denomination (again, very different to the state school).
I think what is offered is good value for money, despite the VAT. Though the pricing can be opaque.
Unfortunately, all the things that made the KS2 provision great have been lost with the jump to KS3. The close relationships and continuity with staff are diluted, with the exception of their Reflect tutors, and for a child whose confidence has been destroyed by state school attendance this has not been good. Your child needs to be independently motivated. It is highly competitive, everything is about who can do it first and score the most. There are very high achievers in this school which can alienate those that struggle.
Communication between SEN and staff doesn't seem to always get through.
In another instance, a problem was bounced unfairly back on my child with a, "this is where you find it on your homepage" answer, while the tech was quietly fixed in the background - we had been there 4 years and knew full well how to access assignments. The head of year 7 did not acknowledge the problem, and it was, I felt, inappropriately displaced onto subject staff.
KingsIH have applied for OFSTED accreditation, which I think is a shame. I think the positive characteristics of the school may be lost and worry it will become as limited and inflexible as state schools.
We will currently stay on at this school because I feel there are no suitable KS3 alternatives, the LEA can't offer anything but I can see how quiet KS3 students needing guidance will fall through the cracks, just as at state school.

We have been incredibly impressed with the academic education my son has received through King’s InterHigh. Moving to an online model can feel like a leap of faith, but it has completely transformed his approach to learning. The live, teacher-led classes are engaging, and the structure of the British curriculum has allowed his core academic skills to grow rapidly. He has become far more independent, organized, and genuinely excited about his subjects.
What we are most excited about as he continues his journey here is the school's integrated focus on holistic development. While the academics are already stellar, we highly anticipate and expect further regular acknowledgment and integration of vital life skills through their ongoing classes—such as communication, adaptability, and critical thinking. King’s InterHigh has already proven they know how to deliver excellent schooling; we look forward to seeing how they continue to nurture these essential everyday life skills in the classroom over time. Highly recommend for any family looking for strong academic progress mixed with a modern approach to growing the whole child!

Kings Interhigh provided an opportunity for my daughter to continue her GCSE years in a calm and supported way. Her anxiety at her previous school meant school avoidance but with Kings Interhigh she wanted to show up for all of her lessons and was able to do so from the comfort and safety of home. The teachers were kind and understanding to her needs - she really loved her live lessons and I'd often hear her giggling to what she was learning.
There is the option to watch live lessons back and access all the course materials from the 2 years she as been at the school which helped with her revision along with some AI learning tools. I'd also recommend getting Seneca as a support tool at exam stage and if your child is like mine, dyslexic and not into books, don't waste your money on all the Pearson Edexcel books, ours have hardly been used.
Our experience of putting her through her GCSE exams has been very good using an external exam centre but I know that other parents have had a lot of issues and stress with the online exams offered, so where possible I'd find your local exam centre to support your child.

Kings = 👎
I cannot adequately express how disappointed and frustrated I am with Kings.
When my daughter was struggling to attend school but remained determined to learn and succeed, Kings seemed like the right choice. Unfortunately, the reality has been completely different.
Communication is appalling. It is almost impossible to speak to a real person, with parents constantly pushed towards a useless chatbot that leaves concerns unresolved.
The quality of teaching has been equally disappointing. My daughter actively sought feedback on an English exam, asking where she had lost marks so she could improve. The only response she received was that she had "gained 30 marks" rather than lost them. No meaningful feedback, no guidance, no support.
By the end of her time at Kings, she was learning more from revision guides and textbooks we purchased ourselves than from the lessons we were paying thousands of pounds for.
The handling of exams has been the final straw. Despite charging significantly more than other exam centres, Kings delivered a chaotic and stressful experience. During one exam, my daughter lost valuable time because she could not access or print the paper until the official start time. In another, the pre-exam session was supervised by a teacher who openly admitted they did not understand the exam process and relied on students to answer questions.
For a school that charges such high fees, this level of disorganisation, poor communication and lack of educational support is simply unacceptable.
RUBBISH. DON'T WASTE YOUR KIDS FUTURE, TIME OR YOUR MONEY!

My husband and I were reflecting last night on what a different position our daughter is in compared to this time last year when she wasn't even in school due to severe bullying. She was previously in a private school where she had a horrendous time. I must admit I was very much against the idea of online school as I was afraid that she would become even more socially isolated, however the opposite has happened. By taking away the terrible environment, she was forced to spend every day in, therefore becoming exhausted, she now has the enthusiasm and energy for an active social life at the weekends. Spending a year in high school online has been truly transformative for her she is a different person, confident, outgoing and happy and for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Our daugther struggled with anxiety going into a traditional school. That led to struggles getting her into school on a daily basis.
We decided to home school her, but also knew we did not have the time, or knowledge to take care of this ourselves. We are not teachers, and we believe that the role of teacher in a childs life should be different than that of a parent. Therefore we did not want to mix up these roles and make things blurry.
We decided to not home school or daughter but send her to an online school. That was one of the best decisions we have ever made for her.
She felt welcome in her class, the teachers have been great, and she has kept up her level of education on at least the same level as the children from her year group on the traditional school. We recently used a teacher to validate the level our daughter is on, it is hard to judge this otherwise.
We can sincerely recommend King's Interhigh if your child struggles to adapt to traditional school life.

I would highly recommend Kings InterHigh school. My son has attended for the past 2 years whilst completing his GCSE's. All teaching staff have been very helpful and given me feedback on his progress throughout. The level of dedication and support the SEN and Exam teams have given have been outstanding, and I honestly could not of managed without their help, especially in getting all the access arrangements in place for his GCSES.

The teaching is very clear and easy to understand. Even if you are not in the right headspace during the lesson, you can review it later, which I find to be one of the key benefits of the school. I do much better when I can go back over lessons, pause the class recordings, and take time to understand the material clearly.

My daughter joined KIH in Year 7 (November 2021) after a very unhappy first few months at our local secondary school. I wasn't keen for her to say home for school, as I worried about her becoming more isolated, but it became our only option.
She attended KIH until June 2026 and is just about to finish her GCSEs.
My daughter started KIH as a socially anxious and timid young girl who hardly ever left the house, and leaves as a confident and happy young woman, who performs in a local orchestra and has made local friends through her hobbies. She's excited to start at our local college in September for her A levels.
KIH allowed her to study in an environment she felt safe enough to grow and flourish in. The teaching staff are excellent and she made new friends from all over the world. She engaged really well with the lessons and is predicted excellent GCSE grades.
KIH is an great option for children who struggle at mainstream school. I work from home, so it worked really well for us as I was around if she needed anything. But she got on with all the lessons and homework herself, with guidance and support from the teachers.
I'm really proud of how far my daughter has come and am so grateful to KIH for supporting her in her journey.
