Kitchen World Reviews 

I am writing this review to warn others of the problems they may incur in using Kitchen World as the Installer of their kitchen units.
On May 18th '24 I met the kitchen installer, Chris, who informed me that if the kitchen appliances were not bought through Kitchen World he could not unpack or fit them because he'd be uninsured to do that. I started to unpack them and so did he regardless of what he had just said.
Nevertheless the Microwave and Extractor units were left sealed in their boxes when he departed 8 hours later.
Apart from minor fitting mistakes he left (saw) dust in some drawers and presses, did not use sealant to hide the division between worktop and walls and did not tidy many of the off cuts outside the kitchen area but left them against the exterior wall and strewn across the exterior driveway.
Having said all that the kitchen itself is beautiful. Also I have no problem with the superior looking wood.
I rang the Kitchen World salesman, Steven, in Newbridge, who was exceptional throughout the purchase, advising and directing us as to our best advantage with our particular shape and needs. He said that he'd fix the minor mistakes but was unable to prevent Chris returning as they were short staffed in that regard.
On 22nd. July '24, over two months later, Chris reappeared to carry out the repairs that Steven had organised. Less than 30 minutes later the job was done quite satisfactorily. On finishing the job I offered to read over my mostly written review but Chris declined saying that he was not employed by Kitchen World.
In summary the kitchen is very beautiful but a struggle to complete due to the outlined reasons above.

Just got my new kitchen from Kitchen world Finglas.Shannen was our designer and what an amazing job she did for us .Nothing was too much for her . And not forgetting Jimmy who put the kitchen in all by himself a fabulous worker .even the delivery men were so friendly.I would highly recommend kitchen world to anyone looking for one . I’m over the moon with my new kitchen .Many thanks to Shannen ,Jimmy and kitchen world 👍

Old fashioned- they won't quote unless you go into the shop?? Bad bad bad.

We knew exactly what we wanted. I went to a great deal of work providing photos of the exact units, exact dimensions and even listed the fixtures and fittings to be gold.

Kitchen World Bray- refused to quote and said I had to go into the show room. Not one other business said this to us. Instead they provided "guesstimates" so broad it was embarrassing to read.

We wanted to support local business in Bray and were willing to "pay a little more". We were asking for a quote for an entire fit out of a 5 bedroom house including sitting room library and utility room. It was not a small -one wardrobe being bought job! We did not expect them to come to us-but we did expect basic level of service-and business begins with a quote.

Very pleased with our experience in kitchen world Waterford. John was our designer and he was great from start to finish. He made it easy and stress free for us. I would highly recommend John to anyone who is looking at kitchens. Not only was our experience great our kitchen is just fantastic. Thanks again John !

We recently had our kitchen designed by Michelle from the Long Mile Road, Dublin store. From the very first time we met Michelle, she put us at ease straight away, and with her knowledge of materials, colours available and tips on what she would do if it was her own kitchen, we knew we were in the right place. Michelle went above and beyond to make sure we got our dream kitchen, and even called us at 5pm on her day off to make sure we were happy with how the fitting went that day. Fantastic customer service. Cant recommended Kitchen World enough.

We dealt with Gary in the Waterford branch and he could not have been more helpful. We had no idea as to cost, timelines etc and he guided us through the process. Every change was added in, no matter what we wanted. His expertise ensured that we got the best possible outcome. Can't recommend highly enough. Chris, from the Newbridge branch, installed the kitchen and I can honestly say, I have never met a better craftsman. Installed perfectly in one day, the last thing he did was hoover the floor. I would highly recommend kitchen world if you are considering remodeling your kitchen.

Very poor quality product and service.
The vinyl wrap on the cabinet doors fitted by Kitchen World has started to peel off. When I asked I asked what it would cost to replace the doors they quoted me over €150 per door. You can buy the exact same doors in B&Q for under €50.
So you spend a lot of money for a fitted kitchen and when the product fails the try to rip you off.

We are delighted with our new kitchen Hugh and Chris worked so quickly from start to finish and designed exactly what we wanted loads of storage and Chris fitted it so fast,Shannen at Signature Space brilliant too love the worktops finishes off the whole look ,Thanks Hugh and Chris ,Kitchen World Newbridge 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We had a great experience with kitchen world! We are absolutely delighted with our new utility room which was completely transformed from a very small pokey space into a beautiful functional utility room and all for a very reasonable price.

The service was fab from start to finish, every step of the way was clearly explained and I found them very respectful, mindful and accommodating. Despite it being a small project we were made to feel like valued customers.

In particular we are very grateful to Lorna, (from the Bray branch) who made the experience enjoyable, stress-free, was brilliant with her designs & recommendations, was very flexible and open to any ideas we had ❤️ if we imagined it, she made it materialize.

Thanks again and would highly recommend!

We worked with John Grace in the Waterford branch from initial showroom walkthrough, design and fit out of our new kitchen, utility and laundry room. John provides an excellent service, we are delighted with the finished rooms and the quality of the materials used. We would highly recommend Kitchen World and their team.

From the first meeting with John Grace (designer) we were guided through the entire project and wonderfully advised what would and wouldn’t work. The plans gave exact details so that all electrical and plumbing work could be finished and in place before the fitters started

The fitters were top notch and very friendly people to have in our home. Their work rate was well matched by their cleanliness

Very happy overall with our new kitchen from Kitchen World. We completely ripped out the old kitchen, floor tiles, wall tiles, plumbing, electrics and appliances from our old kitchen and replaced the whole lot top to bottom. We have an apartment so it was quite a small space but the whole job was managed well by Lorna in the Bray branch. They used contractors for the plumbing and electrics who also ripped out the old kitchen and installed the new appliances. They lose one star for us having to get a new pump and having to get our plumbing completely re-done after the job was finished. This should have been flagged beforehand. So maybe this can be done with other customers going forward? Always check your plumbing . Otherwise very happy. And Shannon even made us a bespoke drawer for above the cat litter. So to sum up I'd describe the experience as an "under-promise, over-deliver" one.

Had kitchen designed by Stephen Crosse. I am delighted with my new kitchen. Stephen made the process so easy and had a lot of patience for us when deciding on the details. I didnt feel pressured or oversold things i did not need. The kitchen is just as i imagined. Would highly recommend .

After initially meeting with a number of kitchen companies in Waterford and Dungarvan, we decided to go with Kitchenworld in Waterford. Our design consultant was John Grace and he could not have been more helpful at every stage of the process from design right through to installation. I would have no hesitation in recommending Kitchenworld. It’s 5 months now since we moved into our new home and we could not be happier with the kitchen that John helped us to design.

Great experience from day 1, we went to multiple kitchen companies for designs and queries, Martin from kitchen world was the best to deal with. The whole experience was Very enjoyable! Accomodating with anything we were looking for or changes to be done after initial design.
We had few post fittings queries and everything is solved quickly, shows how well they treat their customers, as other places would ignore you once payment and fitting is done.

I found Gary in Kitchen World very helpful in designing a kitchen island for my living room. From start to finish I had no problems and I'm delighted with the new island. Would highly recommend Kitchen world.

We recently had our kitchen fitted for a new build with Kitchen World, from the very beginning Gary was excellent to work with, very professional and listening to our every need. Gary was very thorough with each step, ensuring that we were happy with the final design and finish. His customer service was second to none and made us feel very reassured throughout the process.

This is our second time dealing with kitchen world as we got our kitchen and now our walk in wardrobe done! We are absolutely over the moon with our walk in wardrobe and we can not thank Gary enough for his assistance , he was great to work with and new exactly what we wanted! We are delighted with how easy and quick the whole process was and we would recommend Gary to everyone as we would go back to him in a heartbeat.

Kitchen World, Waterford have just fitted our new kitchen and study. Our consultant, John Grace, went above and beyond to help us with the design process - external finishes, internal layout and colour, door handles, work-tops, shelving etc. John gave us the benefit of his considerable expertise and helped us get the best out of the two areas we were fitting. He gave us a great deal and introduced us to Kitchen World's appliance package which was really convenient and saved us money.
After agreeing terms, we paid a deposit and did not have to pay the final payment for a few weeks. We agreed a date for fitting and the kitchen/study were fitted on that date. No hold-ups. The kitchen and study turned out beautifully and we are delighted with the result. Thank you, John for all your help.
P.S. The fitters, Bernard and Peter were lovely. They couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. Our house was like a building site and they rowed in extremely well with the builders already working here.

All in all, very satisfied customers.
