I have purchased several items on Kogan . Products were ok, didn't have a problem until they billed me for a membership I never requested. Maybe there was a tickbox they filled in somewhere BUT this was unauthorised use of my credit card and a serious offense. Being foreign based they know they will not be prosecuted. I was reimbursed by paypal which is a recommendation to use pay platforms. Banks not so good. They want you to try and unsubscribe from an account / membership you NEVER willingly took up.
Chat bots are obviously a waste of time.

I had the most frustrating experience. A complete lack of urgent support. When something serious goes wrong with an order, customers need immediate access to a real person who can act quickly with the courier. Instead, everything is pushed through chatbots and slow email responses, which is simply not good enough when deliveries are going to the wrong address. The products may be good, but the customer support system falls apart the moment there is a real problem. I lost several hundred dollars of products. They refuse to refund me even though they sent the delivery to another state. Worst customer service experience ever.

Ordered Hyundai Elantra trunk boot latch replacement on Tuesday night 07/04/2026 and received Thursday 09/04/2026 at 8.30am. Phenomenal turnaround! Swapped out damaged part same day and works perfectly. Will definately use Kogan again, as value for money and quality of service is second to none. Highly recommend to all purchasers as I don’t think similar providers of same goods could come close to matching.

Worst online customer support I have ever experienced. I placed an order with them for an item which stated on the website would be dispatched within 3 days. Heard nothing for more than a week so requested a refund. It’s now been over two and a half weeks and they only ever respond to say the issue will be resolved asap but no sign of the product or the $4000 refund they owe me. They won’t let you call them and ignore requests for a call back. Be very cautious trusting this company with your money as they will do their best to rip you off!
Update - Now approaching a month since Kogan happily took my money and still no resolution. Similar to another review posted by Richard it seems Kogan leave it to third parties to resolve issues you have with purchases from their website. Clearly they are accepting the damage this will do to their own reputation as they don’t appear to be motivated to intervene and resolve issues in a more appropriate timeframe.

Called them this morning to get a long dated mobile plan activated (the QR code they sent me was returning an error). The customer service agent advised me I needed to follow different instructions than the instructions Kogan emailed me! As well as buy another eSIM. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told one would call “within two hours when they get it”. Still have not heard anything - I would not bother.

I have been scammed by someone at Kogan.
I found I had an 11.50 charge from them found a phone number which took a while and realised half way through the conversation it maybe was a scam. Once he had managed to get my full Visa card number from me and because me my husband has a joint account he set in to ask for mine. At that I said I had not got it on hand so he said well maybe we will leave it for now.
I rang and cancelled my Visa card but I. That space of it
Me he had put through $150 to an e-gift company.
So now my husband has his card cancelled but thank god I got in fast and the guy didn’t get anymore.
So beware anyone contacting Kogan of this.

Very poor cancellation and refund experience.
I cancelled my Kogan marketplace order before dispatch and requested a full refund, but the matter was not properly resolved after follow-up and escalation. Instead of a straightforward refund process, I was left dealing with delays, uncertainty, and the possibility of being pushed toward store credit instead of receiving my money back.
This has been a frustrating and stressful experience. Customers should not have to chase so hard for a proper outcome when an order was cancelled before dispatch.
I will not be using Kogan again unless this is resolved with a full refund.

It was easy to search for the item I wanted. Look at my options and the pricing was good. A few clicks and my crt was populated and paid for. I am now awaiting my tracking information from Australia Post

We had bought our dad a massage chair for Father’s Day a couple months back but one of the air pumps on the left side of the chair popped out. No matter what we did we weren’t able to pop it back in so we called for an expert to review and help fix it. An older man came to review it and upon first entering we were instantly met with hostility. (We had asked the man politely if he would be able to take his shoes off before entering the house but he said no he can’t in an aggressive tone. So we let him in to review the massage chair. The man did not even bother inspecting or touching the chair, he just asked us what the issue was which we told him was the air bag and he just told us to get a replacement pump pipe or an entire replacement for the massage chair. (If the solution was that simple we don’t understand why he needed to come in the first place when he didn’t even need to interact with the massage chair in any way.) So we settled on that but filed a complaint for his rude and aggressive behaviour. A couple days later, a lady from customer service called and was nothing but rude, obnoxious and provoking. She immediately started off by telling us it is common knowledge to know that it’s a work and safety hazard for their workers to have their boots on and scoffed at us for not knowing. When we rebutted by telling her that our lack of knowledge for the shoes matter does not excuse his rude and aggressive behaviour which made her go silent for a while. Only for her to start talking again and asking us what is she meant to do. She did not help us with anything in terms of resolving the replacement of our massage chair matter (because we had already agreed that we would get a replacement) or complaint. It felt like she only called to degrade and provoke us for filing the complaint on her co worker but also seemed like she was uninformed of our full situation? Nevertheless, what we expected was professional and respectful help and we did not get anything close to that. It was bad that we had to deal with a man who clearly was not happy to even be there to help us but to also receive a call from CUSTOMER SERVICE who only called to be RUDE IS UNACCEPTABLE. Such DISGUSTING AND EMBARRASSING CUSTOMER SERVICE, NOT HELPFUL, EXTREMELY RUDE AND CLEARLY WERE NOT INTERESTED IN HELPING US FIX OUR PROBLEMS.
