Bought my KRUPS coffee maker from Clarks Village in mid June 2025.
Machine had been working fine but after 33 days I tried to descale machine as the red light indicated. Carried out the set procedure but it did not cancel the red light.
I expected a replacement machine but they would only offer a repair. Latest update new part needs to be sourced from Germany.
Not only have I no machine but I have to wait for a part to be sent so no end date.
Not acceptable after a month of use.
Not a happy consumer who joins the many 1star TrustPilot reviews..

Coffee grinder stopped working almost immediately. They are doing everything possible to wriggle out of a replacement (they eventually sent me an alternative which was obviously someone else’s reject because it was used and stopped working straight away).
The full details ate pretty tedious but their policy is to be totally incompetent in the hope youll just go away.
Don’t buy.
Purchased a Krups digital coffee…
Purchased a Krups digital coffee machine - it stopped working after 7 months - they have wriggled out of the warranty and refuse to repair.
Inferior replacement!!
When my coffee machine couldn't be repaired under warrenty and they have none in stock to replace it, they offer a cheaper model and is more bulky and not fit my kitchen as neatly. No reason why they cannot source a replacement like for like and give me another while I am waiting
NEVER AGAIN WILL BUY KRUPS BRAND Anything
I received KRUPS-GX420851conical burr coffee grinder as a Christmas gift. I am sure the gift giver (who always buys expensive gifts) thought it was a great gift to give to a coffee aficionado – after all, Krups has a trustworthy reputation.
It has never worked as shown in Krups manual, YouTube video, Amazon purchase page. I have dissembled the grinder, thoroughly cleaned out grounds (and there was a lot even though it is new!) and reassembled – no change. I have unplugged in attempt to reset. Here are the issues I have found, and I have video to validate the operation I found:
Multiple “err” messages in window when attempting to start grind or after a much less than requested cups to grind
Multiple times the yellow triangle appears
Multiple times the request to grind is insufficient, stopping at 1
I have actually put my hand in the coffee bean bowl to circulate the beans, some improvement
There are times when the motor smells like it is burning
I had high expectations of the Krups reputation and this product. I did return the grinder. Guess what happened. Krups, which I thought was a reputable brand name SENT ME A MUCH CHEAPER BLADE GRINDER not a burr grinder.
PS I have a Technivorm coffee maker that has worked perfectly!

Frothing a little too good. Ended up spooning out of the frother and then out of the cup. Not a lot of milk left in the coffee. Milk only settings requires too much milk. Changing the setting fiddly Temperature not hot. Has to be washed between one coffee and the next or the milk burns on the base. Awkward to wash.

I paid £1299 for a Krups EA9010 bean to cup fully automatic coffee machine.
Year one it broke down twice and had to be returned.
Year two it broke down 3 times and was serviced by returning.
Year 3 it broke down then the service agent says they are now obsolete so it will cost £150 to repair but if it’s beyond repair they scrap the machine and I get nothing.
Krups didn’t want to know at all. So £1299 for 2 coffees a day for 2years and 2 months then I’m left with scrap. I would never buy Krups again and would advise all my friends and family to stay clear from any Krups product!

Really wish I'd seen these reviews before I bought 1, just unpacked it and found the 'welcome' pack which has the filter, the plastic screw for using the filter and the water hardness test strips missing, called them to be told it wasn't their problem and send it back to the company I bought it from, already had to wait for it to be delivered, Terrible company

I got an expensive Krups coffee grinder for my birthday which didn’t work; it wouldn’t switch on. Fast forward 2 months and Krups have still done nothing about it other than sending meaningless emails about their ‘sustainable’ policy which means they don’t replace items, they only repair them. This was a brand new machine which never worked out of the box! It should be replaced with another new one that DOES work.
I’m still waiting for a 3rd party company to collect it and repair it. No sign of that happening yet and no correspondence from them or Krups.
Absolutely appalling service. Never ever buy anything made by this terrible company. Note all the other 1 star reviews.
Bean and gone!
Bought an expensive bean to cup coffee maker from AO and the manufacturer is Krups. It stopped working in late May and I bought it in Jan 23. I let them know by email. No response. Phoned. Needed to send information. Sent information - lots of information that was requested and a video. They denied receiving and sent the form to complete again. AO got involved. I couldn't take a video format due to my tech, but problem was very clear. No coffee - just hot water. Once again they sent me same form. I copied them into the original form. Still waiting. Terrible after sales service on faulty item still in warranty and clearly lots of delay and denial from Krups. This seems to be an issue for many given the reviews on here. If they reply they will likely ask for the same information again or send me the same form or insist on a video I have no means to take.

After over 18 months of emails I have been told my BEAN to cup machine won't work because I'm using coffee beans... The exact quote is below...
"After our product expert has checked the machine and he says that it is down to use of the beans, we are sorry we are not able to do much at the moment as it is not a manufacture defect."

I was given a milk frother for my birthday present in oct by November I realised it had never heated correctly. I contacted Krups because 30day amazon return had elapsed and that is when the saga began despite asking for a replacement frother because it wasn’t fit for purpose.
Numerous e mails began the frother was picked up for repair, after several calls to Krups and repairers I learned parts had to be ordered. 5 weeks later again after several e mails asking to please just send replacement frother the repair was done but when I opened the package the lid was cracked! Again I asked for replacement frother to end this ferago. I was advised they would be in touch. Eventually I was told a new lid would be sent after a week I contacted Krups to be told part on order. I advised them because of the damaged lid my wife was dubious about the electrical repair and would not use the appliance. 2 days later the lid arrived.
The frother still sits in the box with the new lid my wife refuses to plug it in.
Krups have been the worst company I have ever dealt with, and I advise anyone if anything goes wrong with one of their appliances just throw it in the bin.

Poor product and frustrating service…
I bought a Krups EA 90 in December 2020. It worked OK (but was not spectacularly good) until September 2022 when it began to malfunction - strange noises came from the machine but no coffee. Since then it has been sent back on at least 4 occasions to 3 different repairers designated by Krups, ultimately to Tefal. It has come back today after 4 months, I have unpacked it and found the water tank has been smashed into multiple pieces in transit owing to inadequate packaging.
Because of this I don't even know whether or not the machine is working now. Presumably Krups will send me a new water tank sometime soon, following my latest missive, and I can then find out whether I have a functioning machine.
I have argued at some length that, if it has taken so many goes to repair, the machine was not fit for purpose or of satisfactory quality but Krups have persisted in sending the machine for repair time and again. At least they have had the decency to extend the guarantee for a further year.
If I need to buy another coffee machine you can be certain it will not be from Krups or any other Groupe SEB company.

I bought this as my Delonghi leaks water into the grinds box and was messy.
Simple to make coffee, adjust amount and strength. Now onto the milk and that is where this machine fails.
The machine makes bubbles in the milk like a bubble machine and overflows the jug before it is hot, and that is making coffee for 1. The more milk you add the faster it bubbles, less and the nozzle does not reach the milk. One thing you need to know is that there is not a lot of room to move the jug as suggested in the book.
I contacted customer service and explained. I was told by customer service to heat the milk in the microwave depite the instructions saying use very cold milk. The overflowing milk is such a mess it has to be returned, not faulty just useless with milk.
So if you like great coffee but not Latte or Cappuccino then this could be for you, or simply buy a machine without the frother.

I purchased the KRUPS EA895N40 Evidence One from an online website I dont know if I'm allowed to name (hint : it's owned by Jeff Bez0s). What a piece of junk, although to be fair it made a good espresso until it started leaking water only one month after purchase (the cappucino function is weak by the way - useless frother). I contacted Krups customer services to see if they could help. Three emails and a couple of weeks later and they still haven't responded. Looking at reviews on Trustpilot I can see that seems to be the norm with Krups. What really annoyed me is that because of the delay waiting for Krups to respond, it took me out of the time in which Mr Mez0s's company will automatically refund for faulty goods. I asked for a like-for-like replacement and was told to contact Krups for advice. Vicious circle. So I'm going to do a scathing Amazon review next...... :)
Absolutely furious
Absolutely furious, spent £900 on a Krups Bean to cup coffee machine and after less than three years the LCD display has failed. Out of warranty so the only option they can offer is either pay for a repair or get a discount on a new machine, but if they think I'm going to buy another Krups machine they want their bumps reading.

Buy this machine at your peril!! I have not had mine a year but it has gone wrong twice. Each time it is gone for repair for six weeks or more and within three weeks of getting it back from first repairs it broke again. This time they asked me to pay for the repair because apparently it was ‘poorly maintained’ - ie it had coffee splash on the side!!
Customer service lacks any form of service at all. Steer clear - I wish I had!!!! An expensive mistake which has left me out of pocket and time!!!
