I wish I could give Krups 1 star like above but it hasn’t earned it. It sold me a flimsy product that lasted 6 times. Avoid like the plague! Extremely poor customer service!

I started to use the bean to cup machine in 2017 (EA80). The machine packed in after a few months, and John Lewis replaced it. My second Krups machine had to go back twice as the coffee was tepid. The machine is now inoperable, and will not function at all.
After contacting Krups, they offered a replacement at 50% £229.00. I said this is an appalling record of going through two expensive machines since 2017, which is unacceptable.
This is the first time l have known a poorly manufactured German product.
Think very carefully about buying this shoddy product, and poor customer service which equals the product.
I will never purchase from this brand again. This product is going to the council tip, and l will replace with a Sage machine. Don’t waste your money!

Very dissatCommunication with Krups worthless
Very dissatisfied with the communication with Krups.
The fact that Krups cannot be reached by phone (contrary to what is stated on the website, by the way) does not testify to any service to the customer. Only reachable by e-mail but do not respond.
Excellent Customer Care
Whilst my coffee machine started leaking Krups arranged for it to be collected and will repair it for free as they have a 10 year life policy for sustainability reasons and will therefore repair it.
Unlike the punch bag reviews here the Krups customer care team are amazing. I had a response within 24 hours and they were extremely caring about the customer experience.
I wish the product had not leaked but it’s a 5 star review for the way they have responded.
Krups Coffee Mill F203
Never owned a Krups branded product before - until I purchased their coffee mill (F203). The mill seized up after 3 months - the blade jammed. No worries, still in guarantee, so I tried to make contact with Krups UK customer service, several times. All I got was automated acknowledgements. Very close to giving up! My advice to others is to avoid this company at the moment - looking through other reviews, many others have had a similar experience.
Since writing the above, Krups have at last responded - and they paid for the return of the product - initially for repair, but obviously it was not repairable because they sent a new replacement. Well done Krups!

Bought a Krups bean to coffee machine from John Lewis 20/2/2018 never again! Went wrong first month,John Lewis would not refund as Krups now have a service centre in Britain ( obviously need it to repair the bad coffee machines they are selling to unsuspecting Brits!)Actually went back to Krups service twice. Now it’s out of guarantee, but very dangerous as every now and then the steamer spout flies off and hot milk goes everywhere,I will not use it but my husband is braver than me. Very noisy as well. Machine has never worked satisfactorily, very disgusted with Krups and John Lewis.
Poor Customer Servive......never buy Krups!
I bought a Krups bean to cup coffee machine (2 cups) and well within the guarantee period I contacted Krups about un-equal measures of coffee between the cups when used in 2 cup mode. They advised me to monitor the situation to see if matters improved and they also gave me a customer ref. number for future use if further action by Krups Service Team was needed to rectify the fault.
Between Krups advice to monitor the situation and the expiry of the guarantee, my wife developed a serious medical condition that required investigation, major surgery, post-op treatment and subsequent monitoring......and during this time the coffee machine issue and guarantee expiry was forgotten.
I wrote to Krups with the background, Case Ref. Number and offered to provide documentary evidence of my wife's surgery etc., but the reply said I could pay and send it to be investigated at a service agent or buy a new machine at a reduced cost. No mention of Krups Service Team home visits for investigation and repairs, and no acknowledgement that the fault was reported well within guarantee period.
Unbelievably poor customer service, and other customer reviews suggest the same level of poor service. Moral of problem......do not buy anything from Krups.

Pretty Appalling
Pretty spalling performance. Returned a broken coffee grinder over three weeks ago.
Still no word on when we are getting it back. The thing was only two weeks old and cost around £20.
Why not just replace it? I don't see any economic sense in trying to repair it, once you factor in labour and transportation.
I won't be buying any more Krups products. When I had to replace my washing machine last week, I didn't even look at their machines

Have read reviews about the beer dispenser and the problems regarding the red light. I am currently experiencing the same problem. The torps appear to chill but not as much as they do when the green light is showing. When I try to dispense the beer all I get is a glass full of froth. The refrigerator unit is running constantly and gets very warm. Not very impressed at the moment.

I bought a prodigio coffee machine. Brand new out of the box it was faulty.
I was supplied with a replacement new machine. Again new machine faulty.
Two brand New machines in a row are faulty. Cancelled the order from Appliance online and got refund. Would not buy this rubish again. Not of merchantable quality
Poor Customer Service
I've had a bean-to-cup coffee maker for about 2 years. For the past year the amount of coffee in the cup has decreased. The machine is purposed to tell when a descale is needed but the statistics say that this overdue. You cannot manually force a descale cycle so I asked Krups customer service for advice but after 2 weeks I have had no reply. I emailed again but again no reply.
The coffee produced by the Krups machine is not as good as my previous DeLonghi bean-to-cup machine.

Bought a Krups Xp5620 as it offered all I needed to make a good espresso.
Machine started off fine making a very good cup.
After some 6 months of fairly light use the filter holder failed and started flying off the machine.
Initially I had to send my whole machine back for repair which would take at least 10 working days. This seemed a long time so I simply tried a friends filter holder which worked so so I arranged a replacement holder. All good although I thought 10 working days (standard phrase?) was a long time to wait for delivery. After 10 days I contacted them to find out when my holder had been dispatched only to be told it hadn't been and there wouldn't be stock for another 40 days.
No explanation why I had not been informed that it wouldn't be delivered and a poor and insincere "sorry for the inconvenience caused" message.
When I searched online, they are available from a number of outlets but I was told "we can't be sure they're genuine"! Do they not have a list of distributors?!?!
I've bought one from a retailer at my own expense rather than wait well over a month for them to get stock followed by another10 days delivery. No offer to even make a contribution - just an extension of the guarantee - hardly worthwhile given their poor service.
So, never will I buy Krups, Nespresso nor Dolce-Gusto as they are all from the same group and I can't see their service being too different.
