They survive and persist in their ancient family tradition of making kufiyehs. And I get to participate as a customer. I proudly wear several different styles and people notice them here in my home town and I get compliments. I will not go to Palestine, the Occupation Force would shoot me with their assault rifles. The Hirbawi family endure the hardship and danger. I gladly pay them for the style.

I love Hirbawi kufiyas! I’ve bought several over the years, for myself and as presents for friends. They come in such a beautiful range of colours and are so well made with exquisite designs. I have bought several kufiya over the years and they are always of top quality. I love both the colours and the intricate patterns. They are a most versatile item of clothing, useful in all weathers. While there are many imitations, I believe these to be the real deal - traditionally made in the West Bank.

I once contacted the manufacturer with a minor problem with one kufiya. I received a courteous reply and, unexpectedly, a free replacement.
