First time using this product so was interested to see how it worked. Previously used Waxoyl to reasonable effect but this can be difficult to apply unless using the aerosol version.
Underside of my land Cruiser had just been renovated with rust removal, paint and Upol stonechip so rust coverage was not a problem. Yes, it can be a little messy but every type of water repellent is messy. If you want full coverage, then you have to get into all the nooks and crannies.
Product covers extremely well and dries to a matt finish. I would definitely recommend that the product is warmed first as it aids atomisation, especially with using the lance.
I would recommend giving it at least 2 coats to ensure 100% coverage.
Had a little issue, probably my own fault and the aftersales team were very quick in replying and resolving my issue, thank you Tanya.
How does it last long term, I will find out. However, if you believe that you can treat the underside of a vehicle once and expect it to last years, then you're mistaken. I've restored plenty of classics that had been Waxoyl'd and the were rotten due to poor maintenance.
With my experience so far, I would highly recommend this company and their product.

I used this for a few years after reading all the hype .

I always thought it was easly washed off as never relly noticed it protecting anything even though reapplied every 8 to 9 months. All areas on my car got worse.

The thick grease they also sell I applied to many areas and after 9 months had to remove this from few areas to do work and the amount of rust under it was shocking 10× as bad as prior to application so certainly dose not work at all and even looks like has accelerated the corrosion?.

I have since gone back to rust treatment and proper protection and 1000% better as actually works. ( yes takes alot longer but least protects)

Dont waste your time with this stuff your just as well spraying any other type of wax/oil on your car as apart from easy application nothing else actually works.

When I contacted the company asking for feedback and querying there claims had zero reply so speaks volumes and thinking just another company buying good reviews as recently seen someone ask about this product on a audi forum and had lots of people also saying they thought it was useless and dose not work.

Used Lanoguard on my Jaguar 3 weeks ago, left it standing for 5 days. Examined the undercarriage, what a difference it has made. I am now Lanoguard my second vehicle, very impressed with the product. After use I clean the sprayer equipment with hot water and fairy dishwasher liquid, ready for the next use. Good product and would recommend it.

The ordering, delivery, was great. However the using of the product was messy, stank out the whole workshop. Ran down my arm, was far to thin. The spray gun didn't help. Plus it was a convertible burning sheep sweat for 5hrs of driving 400 miles was indeed discussing. I was using a lift so should have been easier. Than the advert of a man crawling around in a field. Forget that right now, you need to make your money count and we live in a 4 dimension world. In your drive you will miss over 60% of the important bits hit the bloody exhaust more times than you care to. That's the facts.
Oh and let's not forget you have to do this every 12 months. Or wait for the crap to wear of so you can put some built humber on it instead.
I do regret using it, it was more unpleasant than waxoil. Without the staying power for the amount of effort and clean up, as clothes and equipment got covered.

Second year of use. Last years covering still looked good, but will do annually as it gives me an excuse to play with my pride and joy. Even drops that end on the drive are easy to wash off with fairy liquid and a stiff brush. Great that you don't have to worry about rubber, electrical and exhaust areas (just don't over do it). OK quite pricey, but putting a price on having a long living, rust controlled car, is worth it.

What can i say great customer service had a issue with my delivery today and could not speak with courior so contacted lanoguard who was able to speak with them long short my order order was re aranged for tomorrow but eneded up with it being delivered this evening.thank you so much for all your help.not used product yet but will be sure to leave another review when i do.

Save your money and buy something decent for at least 30% less. You might as well spray your car with WD40 or GT85, it's no better. It doesn't last any longer and is very expensive. If you want to do a proper, long lasting job use Shutz or Waxoil

To begin with, I messed up my order, totally my own fault, but it looked like I would have to pay double shipping charges. So, I messaged Lanoguard asking if they could help. It was a Sunday so I wasn't expecting a quick reply, but I got a very nice reply from Kate within a few hours and she was able to help me sort out the problem I had caused. Now, that is very good customer service right there.

The kit arrived on time.

It was as easy to apply as they said it would be and I have enough left over for next year too. One major plus for me was that I didn't need to wear a mask to apply it. So far - extremely good.

This product hardly lasts a year, and it traps moisture. Having to reapply it every year makes it more expensive and labour intensive. I find waxoyl to be superior which I have used for decades. Waxoyl only requires reapplying every 3-5yrs in my experience and doesn't trap moisture. The languard gun is totally useless as well. Their customer service team asked me to contact them and they came up with a load of terribly poor and invalid excuses, it was everything and everyone elses fault but their product. They most likely sell a substandard watered down product so you have to reapply every year so you keep buying this product and wasting your time. The moisture getting trap is most likely their excuse because they water it down offering almost nil protection. Languard despite two coats was shining signs of coming off after two months. Don't waste your money, buy anything else but this product.

Watched You Tube videos on this product. So purchased it before reading more into it from customers . Lanoguard user site. Only lasts a year. Pity I did not read the reviews sooner. Have used Dinitrol and Waxoyl since 1975, good products with no issues and do the job with maybe a touch up every 5 years or so. Bought this product as a belt and braces job to go over my cars and motor home lasting a year it is expensive and is not value for money. My question to Lanoguard, surely you can make it last at least 5 years. A lot of people do not have the time to spray it every year, and also the cost of doing it. Dinitrol costs about £45 to do a large car inside box sections, arches under floor and inside sills and doors, and lasts well over 5 years. Waxoyl has lasted 11 years on my Motorhome with no problem and still no rust, and it is a Ford based one . Ford notorious for rusting

Very quick and easy to apply, covers really well. A standard kit was more than enough to put a really good coat on the underside of my medium wheelbase Sprinter with some left over to touch up if required. Also covered all the exposed threads using the grease provided. Whole underside especially differential housing and suspension components look like new. As long as it lasts, and there’s no reason to suspect it wont, I will be very impressed.

Bought the professional kit comprising 4 litres oil, plus sprayer bottle, plus trigger sprayer, plus lance. Both sprayers failed after spraying 1 litre each. Now using compressed air applicator/sprayer which is more reliable and less messy.

Returning customer due to the fact it works !!

I used lanoguard, after a few weeks/months, the surface was dry and not left with candle wax consistency as stated by lanoguard. I alerted lanoguard and they made contact with me, advised that a two coat approach required, so I recoated and it was better, however 9 months on from initial application, the bare metal and surface rust returned, so lanoguard does not last. The product is extremely expensive, about 125 for ,5 litre Kit. I recently discovered that this product does not have as much lanolin content as it could have, (product that stops rust developing), therefore would be much more effective and last much longer. I have asked lanoguard about how their product does compare to the others that last much longer, the reply was vague and they refuse to talk about it. I know that people have posed this question and made comment on the lanoguard forum Facebook group but the comments removed and users are suspended, therefore you could assume that the claims are accurate and the other competitors in this market is far superior. Lanoguard only allow comments that support the very expensive product and are not willing to allow other views and or opinions about similar products on the market especially if they are superior. They also post claims about never fail another MOT again etc, this is incorrect and is untrue and cannot be proven, unfounded, untrue and inaccurate claims. Lanoguard are very clever and cute in regards to their advertising campaigns and customer service, they pose, nothing is too much of a problem, they would love to discuss, however the have no real solution. The lanoguard product has so minimal a lanolin content, it does not last very long and makes the product expensive, not very effective. You would be better investing in a longer-term solution, offering a fuller more sustainable protection to your vehicle. Lanoguard have tried extremely hard to have my comment/,review removed as it is on the contrary to what they want people to know. Do not be fooled by lanoguard FB forum as only positive, glowing comments allowed, any negative, real experiences are deleted and the user/poster is suspended, that's why it's all glorious on there. Up+date- As per reply below, lanoguard portray a helping hand, it does not last, to be fair they do say it lasts 12 months, so 9 months is not far off. 12 months is not any where near long enough in terms of a rust prevention product. I have contacted them previously, pointless contacting them again.

Please don’t be fooled by this product you will waste your time & money.

After reading the reviews I thought what a great product, I’ll give it a try so I bought a 5L bottle with the sprayers for £128.99 very expensive.

My experience-

1st attempt , Not that easy to apply with the Lanoguard sprayers malfunctioning after 10min of use even on a very hot day of 25 degrees, so I had to pack up, Lanoguard did send a replacement out straight away.

2nd attempt, after completing half the vehicle the second sprayer malfunctioned so had to pack up again, after this time I got fed up and returned the product.

I did have concerns of the 9 month life of this product but thought it may be worth it with it being so easy to apply, I now know it isn’t.
I’ve also noticed that weekly washing of a vehicle with shampoos removes the Lanoguard after only a few washings, in my experience this product is an expensive con, please do not buy this product and have your vehicle protected correctly with a tried and tested product.

Tried Lanoguard for the first time today and it’s so easy to apply, I normally get my vehicles waxoyled but this is a way better product for applying. Nearly half tin left after doing one car. Great stuff!!

I used lanoguard to do underneath and also the grease to apply around the engine bay on my 2 1989 classic cars. So easy to apply!! I had the 2ltr kit with the hard grease pot as well. The product is amazing and I would not understand anyone with a classic or up to date car not applying this!! The 2ltr bottle was plenty for both cars. Also had some for a little touch up!. This will save you thousands over the years!! And takes around 30mins to apply!. It’s a no brainer! Buy it today and get it applied!.

Very impressed with speedy no-nonsense delivery as well as ease of application. The product seems to go a long way - I still have plenty left. Not messy and easy to clean hands afterwards and no noxious fumes.

WOW!! what an amazing product, have certainly spread the word to my friends and colleagues. So easy to apply. Not the dirty smelly job of previous products. Certainly looks like its going to keep our trusty 20 year old campervan protected. Will certainly use each season moving forward.

Never undercoated a car before but it was very easy with great coverage. The thicker ‘grease’ product was evidently good for higher rust areas or areas that needed more protection like seams/nuts etc.
Does improve the general look & looks ‘newer’.
Got more of the spray and grease left so will save & top up in a year.
Based on the application, the end result and looking at ‘12 months on’ independent reviews I think this is a great product, you get a generous amount and I quite like the slightly ‘sheepy’ smell!
