They damaged my face with botox they did almost 80 units on me when I usually do around 40 max, which makes me question their botox. I suffered with a lopsided chin and for the first time in my life had botox poisoning which was terrifying. Not only did they deny it had to do with the botox I JUST RECEIVED in a very b*tchy tone but the customer service SUPERVISOR BRYAN told me I was probably stung by a bee when I walked out of their facility. They won't refund you a penny for their mistake or fix it, which I don't want them to touch my face anymore anyway. I had to go elsewhere to fix my lopsided chin. They are so rude all their employees are rude and inept I will be pursuing legal action and contacting the medical board!

I have been a client for less than a year in which time I was called and texted to stock up on Botox when it was on sale. Kind of a pushy feeling approach and before I knew it, I had $1,700 worth of product in my account. I had a double mastectomy in January to aggressively treat breast cancer and finally after a few months of healing scheduled my botox appointment with Laser Away. I didn't need any treatments like radiation or chemo because of the aggressive surgical approach I took. When I mentioned at my appointment what I had been through, they refused to treat me without a doctor's note of clearance repeating that "any time there's a major surgery, we require clearance" I asked if there was a link between injections and recurrence and they said "no" I reminded them that I had Knee surgery and was never asked to produce a doctors note and they said "oh, that's different"
I explained that my doctor was out on medical leave and I wouldn't even know who to get a note from and that I was at a 95% survival rate and reminded them that I had mentioned my surgery when I scheduled the appointment. They said I could get a note from a nurse. "Aren't' YOU a NURSE" I asked? They had my money, and were refusing me service. They repeatedly said that I needed to be done with ALL my treatments in spite of me telling them over and over again that I had no treatments. I finally left, called to get my money back and was told that someone would call me back in three days. After fuming, for 30 minutes based on this flippant response, I called again and was told that the sales person (no management available) was eating lunch and would call me back. I received a call back and asked for a refund citing their very arbitrary and terrible rules and that I refused to get any kind of note. It was a terrible way to be treated and I cannot warn enough how unprofessional the whole experience was. From texting to schedule an appointment to their very green appearing technicians, i would rather pay triple the price to be treated with respect, kindness, and dignity..

STAY AWAY!!!! I paid for 12 sessions of tat removal. Had 6 treatments done following all their guidelines and recommendations and my tattoo looks exactly the same as when I signed up!?
I complained SEVERAL times to different people: corporate emails, calls and 2 location: FTL and sobe

They simply do not reply, just look at you with an emotionless face and say “hmmm hmmm”

It’s unbelievable the lack of professionalism and respect.

The staff themselves are very friendly. However the treatment for “laser hair removal” didn't work. I purchased a 10 session package and didn't see a single change in my hair “reduction” as they called it. Then at the end they wanted me to do additional treatments. If it didn't work the first 10 times how many more before I would see results? No thank you.

I bought a 13 session package tattoo removal thru Laser Away in KC, Mo for my ring finger tattoo of ex wife to be removed. Was informed an understood of the amount of sessions for the area and agreed. None of that is the real issue, although 8 of 13 sessions down and it is still extremely clear there. Around the 6th session the tech started my removal (normally take about 1-2 mins at best and not very painful-no numbing neccessary)
This particular session seemed a bit more painful and she kept adjusting the dial as well as taking much longer to go over tattoo. Bandaged up with cream and I left. Before I got in shower that night I took bandaid off a chunk of flesh or whatever came with bandaid this time (never before). Had what looked like a puss filled infected crater on my finger that took almost 4 weeks to fully heal! And now there is a raised completely paled scar down the middle of the tattoo’d finger where there is no ink at all and yet the outsides the ink is extremely visible. This is now a permanent scar forever. After bringing to their attention, every tech or manager at Lenexa clinic basically blamed me as a “cleaning issue” and have done nothing. I have been back for 2 more sessions with no extra damage or scarring exactly like the first 5 sessions. Yet somehow that is not proof enough that the 6th session caused damage and issues. I have contacted LaserAways customer service thru email 5 times not with nothing but automated replies from their cpu and never have spoken to a single person! The local clinic continues to avoid any blame and continues to say it had to be from my cleaning and care after the fact…..yet somehow it was an immediate issue hours after I got home with bandaid still on

The website touts 80% reduction after 6-8 treatments. I received about 20-25% after 8 treatments.

I explained my results and was told but more sessions. They did nothing to deal with the poor performance and compared to what’s stated on their website.

Save you money go some where else

I urge anyone considering using LaserAway to do adequate research before falling for their scam like I did. unfortunately, I did not read enough Google and Reddit reviews about them before making a very costly mistake. (Go look at those, people express similar experiences and concerns). against my better judgment, I bought an 8-session package, costing over $3k, when the sales associate told me there was no way to come in for a single session. any time a business tells you that you have to buy a non-refundable package and do not get an opportunity to try the service first with a single session it is scamming you. that is a very obvious fact, and I am embarrassed that I fell for it.

I have used only four of those sessions, which took over eight visits to a location to get through. I began trying to use the Santa Monica location, which was walking distance from my house. the issues began with my very first session. when they sell you the package, the sales associate informs you that getting appointments is very easy because you can request and track everything in their dedicated app. I scheduled my first appointment and received a confirmation page. when I showed up, the front desk told me they had no record of my appointment. I expressed confusion and frustration, the front desk staff explained that the app does not work, and I will need to call to make all appointments. not ideal, but doable.

while I was able to get in for treatment for the first couple sessions with few issues, once I started calling, it quickly became clear that LaserAway never intended to let me use all 8 sessions. on three separate occasions, I had shown up for scheduled and confirmed appointments, only be turned away by the front desk staff after arriving, with the explanation that a nurse hadnt shown up for work that day or they were so far behind they couldn’t see me at all now. Of course, I received no call ahead of time. And every time I did get in for a session, the nurse would tell me that I am not going to get any results from the laser treatment because I am taking too long in between appointments. So now my understanding is that the package I bought won’t even be effective because of LaserAway‘s failure to meet their obligations when you book appointments.

The appointments always started late, but after the third time I was turned away, the front desk staff acknowledged this fact, and insisted that I come back later in the day and promised to be treated at that time. I clarified specifically that there would be availability at that exact time. When I returned, I waited for half an hour after the new appointment time and when I was still not called back to get ready for my service, I left again. I did not give the Santa Monica location another chance after that.

When I requested LaserAway to provide a refund of the unused services, it was told to me that no refund is possible. Thus, my only option was to try another location to see if I have a better experience. I gave the Beverly Hills location a chance. unfortunately, they were just as irresponsible and disrespectful of appointment times. The only positive thing I will say about the Beverly Hills staff is that they were apologetic and tried to provide a free facial service as an apology. Their excuse is that their nurses are very thorough, which is fine, but does not excuse them being unable to book appointments for adequate times.

I hope that whoever is reading this is thinking very carefully about trusting LaserAway with their money. if you still want to use them, insist on a trial period or that the package be refundable. If they refuse, please use another service like ProLase where you pay per session. I had never once had any issues with other laser companies that don’t force you to buy packages that they know you can’t refund. Just please really consider whether it’s worth it for you to be locked into to be a big contract.

TLDR; pretty sure laser away is purposefully being run as a scam, so think carefully before buying!

I recently completed a laser hair removal treatment package at Laser Away, booking three areas: Brazilian, glutes, and lower back. They offer an 8-appointment deal, promising up to 80% hair removal results, but unfortunately, I’m extremely dissatisfied with the outcome.

After finishing all 8 sessions, I only saw about 40% improvement in my Brazilian area, and the other two areas were barely touched — in fact, two other professionals I consulted with couldn’t even tell that the areas had been treated due to the lack of results. Since my very first appointment, I kept expressing that I wasn't seeing any progress, but I was constantly told to “trust the process” and “wait.” Every time I visited, the front desk kept pushing me to sign up for additional packages, which I’m honestly relieved I didn’t fall for, considering how little progress I saw after already spending over $3,000.

I really wanted to believe in their process because I have dark hair on my entire body, and I was hopeful that this would help me, but after already spending so much, I expected results before committing to more treatments. After my last session, I expressed my frustration and was booked for a hair assessment. The nurse confirmed that my results were far below expectations and recommended six additional sessions, nearly doubling the original treatment plan. But here’s where it gets worse: all they offered me was an apology and “3 more sessions” if I bought another package, totaling around $1,700. That’s outrageous!

They told me that some clients might be satisfied with five sessions, but others may need more. Well, I don’t believe they’re offering refunds to those who only did five sessions. If I had known this would be the outcome — that they would essentially leave me with minimal results and demand thousands more to get it right — I would never have walked in the first place.

Despite all my efforts to communicate my concerns and even answer their follow-up quizzes, nothing was done to resolve the situation unless I was willing to pay thousands more.

I do NOT recommend this location. If you're considering laser hair removal, I highly suggest you look into a smaller, more customer-focused company that values customer satisfaction and will assess your results before making you commit to expensive deals. Laser Away has been nothing short of a disappointment.

From trying to get info and book, to them lying to me about the payment plan and finishing it off with bad customer service, this company completely screwed me. Not to mention, the service didn't even work. I've never been lied to by a company like I did with Laser Away. Stay away

LaserAway is significantly more expensive than other laser centers because they advertise themselves as a medical group/office with dermatologist oversight. I chose them expecting top-tier service and care—but the reality was completely different.

🔹 Rushed Treatments & Incomplete Coverage – Sessions that should take an hour were finished in 10 minutes, leaving treatment areas incomplete and ineffective.
🔹 Unprofessional Staff & Poor Service – The staff was rushed, dismissive, and inattentive, with no effort to ensure proper treatment.
🔹 No Real Medical Oversight – Despite their claims, I was never assessed by a doctor or given any guidance on laser settings or safety considerations.
🔹 NO Customer Support – No Phone or Email for Complaints! – Shockingly, there is no direct way to file a complaint. Issues can only be escalated by in-store staff, who may refuse to help or ignore concerns.

I had to follow up multiple times and leave feedback just to get a response. When I finally spoke to Brian Dickerson, who manages their Patient Services Program, his attitude was condescending, dismissive, and completely unprofessional.

For a company that charges premium prices, their service is far below expectations. How does a business like this operate in the U.S. without basic customer support?

If you’re considering LaserAway, save your money and go somewhere else where customer care and service actually matter.

I wish I never booked with them, I fully regret that decision and just want a refund. DO NOT BOOK ANY SERVICES WITH THEM!!! I want a refund!

This company is incredibly disorganized and somewhat scammy. You put in a form for an appointment and have 2 different people calling you, 2 different people texting you different appointment times and asking what service you wanted… like what? What’s the point of the forms? And then an employee was incredibly rude to me over text and told me good luck finding somewhere else. What a horrible customer service department from a big company.. yikes.

Terrible Service, No Results – A Complete Waste of Money!

I paid $3500 for laser hair removal at this place and completed 8 sessions with absolutely no results. Not even a slight reduction! When I brought this up to their manager (Katherin at Coral Gables location) instead of addressing my concerns professionally, she was extremely rude and refused to offer any solution. They don’t care about customer satisfaction—just about taking your money.

They also have a no refund policy, which they conveniently use to trap customers, even when their services don’t work. If you try to talk to them about it, they blame you instead of taking responsibility for their ineffective treatments.

Save your money and **DO NOT waste it here**.If you really want laser hair removal, buy a home laser device instead. You’ll spend way less and get way better results without dealing with their unprofessional attitude.

1/4 of a star. Horrible customer service from the Honolulu location. My initial appointment for my Xeomin was rescheduled the day of due to the technician calling in sick. Thus, this was done. Upon my arrival, the receptionist informed me that I am 6 mins late so I could not be seen. With a smirk on her face, she thought this was professional to do so.

Laser Away has a 15 min. late policy. Again, via the receptionist I was 6 mins late. She was correct in this assessment. It was 1:36PM.

Instead of demanding to be seen, I simply rescheduled my appointment for a second time. I was not in the mood to deal with their snobby attitudes because I knew I would go off then they would make it all about my attitude, with the guilt/tears.

This location has poor customer service and a sense of entitlement to accept their errors when all along NOT demonstrating professionalism. The need to be retrain in knowing their own policies as well as being friendly should be their priority!

I agree the service here is not that great. I had sevin sessions on my tattoo removal and it’s still barely light. Then they charge interest if you don’t pay on time. They want to offer more sessions but at about the same amount of money which is insane. They lasered my tattoos to the point of causing blisters on my back, thumb, and neck. Waste of time and money actually.

This company is absolutely terrible. First of all, their laser machines DO NOT work! No matter how many sessions you take, you will not see a reduction in hair growth. I paid for multiple packages, paying thousands of dollars and did not see any results at the end. Later I went to a different place for laser and saw results even after the couple of sessions. It was like all that time and money spent on Laser Away was a complete waste. At the end of my package, I told them that you guys promise a certain amount of reduction by the end but as you can see from pictures, that has not happened, and they just said oh well, certain bodies are different... BS! Their machines are useless because as I said, I saw results elsewhere.
In addition to that, their customer service is horrible! Their front desk people are rude and the people who pick up the phone are also utterly unhelpful.
This company has no integrity or care for the customer. They just want to make money without actually providing a useful service. I don't think I've detested a company and regretted giving my money to them more than Laser Away. Keep away from them.

I became a customer of Laser Away in 2012 while living in San Diego, CA. I purchased and received services at their Hillcrest location. 3671 Fifth Ave, San Diego, CA 92103.

I made numerous purchases and received services at this location including laser hair removal and Botox injections. I was a repeat customer of their advertised "botox bank" of which they state the credits do not expire.

I moved from San Diego, California to Portland, Oregon in January 2017 and Laser Away did not currently have a location within the state of Oregon. I was informed that my credits would not expire and I was welcome to visit any location if I was ever traveling.

In early 2023 I received a call from Laser Away in Tualatin, Oregon located at 7459 SW Bridgeport Rd, Tualatin, OR 97224, letting me know that they had recently opened a new location in the Portland Metro area and that I still had 44 credits of Botox on my account and they would love to see me. I stated that I was currently using a bank of units at another provider in Oregon but would love to come in when those ran out. They again stated that my Botox credits would not expire and to call back when I was ready.

On December 26, 2024 I called the Laser Away Cedar Hills location closest to me at 2855 SW Cedar Hills Blvd Suite 105, Beaverton, OR 97005, to schedule an appointment for Botox. The service agent confirmed I had 44 units remaining and scheduled my appointment for December 30, 2024.

On December 27, 2024 the agent called me and stated that unfortunately they had "switched systems" and would no longer be able to honor my remaining units. I expressed my concerns and they stated they would escalate this to a Regional Manager. I then received another call on December 29, 2024 stating the Regional Manager stated they would not honor my Botox Bank units and tried to sell me a package.

I spent thousands of dollars at Laser Away and was not only guaranteed my bank would not expire, I was invited in to use my balance only then to be told it would not be honored. Their deceptive practices ruined a long time client relationship.

This company is EXTREMELY unprofessional. They will send 4-5 maybe even more different people/locations to call you. From multiple different numbers. They refuse to give pricing over the phone or put prices on their website. That alone should make you consider other options. Not to mention when I spoke with someone about removing me from their call list she acted like I called her! When she called me! Then has the audacity to give me an attitude on my phone! This company is honestly just so ridiculous with their whole selling process. I would never recommend this company to anyone and I would never use their services myself.

This is a SCAM!!!! Ladies be WARNED. At first, it's all fluff and compliments while they add on treatment after treatment and trick you into financing loans with WESTLAKE/COVERED CARE instead of letting you pay for the services upfront. The Bryn Mawr, PA location has canceled or tried to reschedule 4 of my appointments as a new client. The nurse called out 3 consecutive times. I asked to cancel my "membership" after the first canceled appointment, but they talked me into remaining a customer with the promise of a free facial (which was already in my paid service plan). Today I filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The MainLine/Bryn Mawr LazerAway refunded my purchase 30 days ago, but I am still receiving a bill from WESTLAKE/COVERED CARE. During my second visit, I was scheduled for the Protenza RF Microneedling face and neck. The technician is so busy trying to upsell me on more services and products, that she doesn't read my chart and neglects to put the numbing cream on my neck. The nurse comes in and says, that we will have to schedule another appointment to complete the scheduled service or she could apply the cream to my neck (which needs 30 mins) and try to work on my face (WTF) Go to a smaller reputable skincare provider that actual cares about their clients and services rendered; not a get rich quick clinic like Lazeraway :( what an awful experience in the name of beauty.

I was told by Danielle the Coordinator that they provide thermage for the hands and fingers which when I got there and had my other service done I was informed that they don’t do the fingers which Danielle mislead me into a financial obligation knowing that this service wasn’t provided. I will be seeing an Attorney asap.
