The high-pressure sales approach completely turned me off! I will NEVER have anything to do with these people again. I was inundated with phone calls and emails, but never could get the information (THE PRICE) I kept asking for. After asking for the 4th time how much to do just one body area, the upper lip, I was treated yet again to a monologue about how experienced she was and that she has been doing this for 8 years and started off with transplants and growing hair and is now into removing hair. I stopped her incredibly inappropriate monologue and said, again, I just want the price for the upper lip. She returned with, "What other body parts might you want?" Ugggg! My answer was, "NONE!! How do I get that across you?!" I still didn't get a price, but was treated to another, "We have many packages..." I finally said, "How is it you can't understand that I want JUST my upper lip done and want to know the price for it?" Unbelievably, she went into another dissertation with no price. I finally told her, "Forget it, I'll grow a damn handlebar mustache, before I ever deal with you again." (And I'm a woman.)

I purchased 3full legs and 6 braziliam hair laser removal package and when I got the receipt it mentioned 3 full legs , 3 brazilian and 3 underarms and when I talked to the sales representaive who sold me the package named Vannessa at San Ramon Location , she mentioned that she has put in the note under my purchase that I have 6 Brazilan and 3 full legs amd I have a screenshot of that conversation as proof .
Now Vanessa isn’t working there anymore and I talked to customer service 2 times and always get the answer that I will receive a call back in 24-48 hours but no one calls me.
I went to San Ramon location and talked to the front desk with the person named Delilah and I told her that I have screenshot of the conversation but she kept on saying she can’t do anything and will send the details to regional manager. I was told by her that I will receive a call back within 24 hours but no one has called me yet. It’s been over 2 weeks now .
I went again after 2 weeks and there was a new employee at the front desk who did sent me email after a day saying she has sent the details to Regional office dept. and I will get back a call the next day but no call yet so I am still waiting !
When I call corporate number , it goes to customer service number where they also say they have escalated the issue and someone will call within a day but no one has called yet .

Scam. BEWARE. My representative neglected to provide clarity about NO REFUNDS. LaserAway reserves the right to cancel your service for any reason at anytime and will refund your card for any charges if they cancel but would not provide a refund after I changed my mind before my first scheduled appointment. On 11/29/24 I reached out to LaserAway and they recommended a procedure to remove a sun spot from my face. My representative encouraged me to call back anytime reach out to her with any questions or concerns. On 12/4/24, I contacted LaserAway to inquire more about my sun spot removal. Then on 12/5/24 I made a follow-up call with my representative. I requested a refund after getting more information concerning my medical needs but was told I can not get a refund as there is a NO REFUND policy in the electronic registration that was signed. I was directed to the electronic document that I signed on 11/29/24. This was not discussed at anytime while we went over the agreement in the virtual meeting over the phone. I was not told I could not cancel and get a refund if I changed my mind before receiving the service. My representative stated their refund policy was discussed at the point she stated "you can exchange it for any other service if you change your mind". However, she failed to clarify that meant it is nonrefundable until AFTER I requested a refund.

The electronic registration is long and difficult to process during the fast pace of the virtual consultation. I believe this is false and/or misleading practices about the refund policy. After I requested a refund I was sent a link with the refund policy stating all sales are final.

Also I was also told during the registration the sun spot removal services provided by in Groupon suppliers who don't use medical grade equipment or have actual nurses like LaserAway. However, the following day I spoke with laser provider on Groupon who stated her company does use medical grade equipment and provide medical grade similar to LaserAway.

I was denied a refund by my representative before receiving any treatment. I have contacted the financing company to dispute the charges as I am on a payment plan and awaiting to hear back from them. I feel very uncomfortable being pushed into getting a service I am no longer interested and/or feel uncomfortable with and requested a refund of my $299 down payment and cancellation of my $2,000 loan. My representative, stated she would have to put in a claim but there was no guarantee I will get a refund. She stated it would take up to 7 days to hear back from her about my complaint for a refund.

It has been very stressful trying to get a refund before my first scheduled appointment. My representative was so excited when I signed the registration and very encouraging. However, when I requested a refund, they did not seem to care that I was feeling emotional and upset, overwhelmed. They did not appear interested in what is in my best interest only their sales (which they may receive commissions on). I asked to speak to a supervisor but was not provided one. I would not recommend this company. The company should provide a requested refund within a reasonable time when no services have been provided.

Laser away has ruined my face! I went there for anti-aging concerns and skin tightening. I’m in my late 30 and wanted to get ahead start on my skin issues. I regret so much! I don’t know if it can be reversed. My face looks worst then ever. I will try to insert a picture and you be the judge!

I went to LaserAway in Cherry Creek on October 7th- the eighth session on other areas and the third session on legs. I was burned on both full legs, enduring weeks of painful blistering, burning, and peeling. It has been over six weeks of healing and hiding my legs, which are now covered in raw circles that will take months to fade.

I was no longer comfortable continuing my treatment with LaserAway and asked for a refund on the leg sessions. However, I was only offered a refund for unused sessions. They would not refund me for the session that caused the burns or for the two prior treatments, which are now ineffective since the protocol requires eight sessions to see results. LaserAway also offered me $190 in store credit, which felt like a slap to the face. In the end, I lost almost $700 through this ordeal. It is incredibly disheartening to lose so much money over an ineffective and damaging treatment.

This experience has been both physically and mentally traumatic. If you are looking for a company that values your well-being and trust, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Please be cautious and choose wisely.

High-Pressure Sales: They push you to commit over the phone with false promises and so-called “one-time offers” to make you feel you’ll miss out if you don’t buy immediately.

No Real Assessment: There’s no genuine evaluation to see if the treatment is suitable for your body or skin type. Even after I raised concerns at each session about the lack of results, they insisted I “just keep going” – likely because a refund would be out of the question.

Endless Runaround with Customer Service: Their customer service makes empty promises, sends you back for unnecessary in-person assessments, fails to return calls, and ultimately provides no resolution.

My advice? Avoid the headache and look for a place with transparent, professional service. Also, check forums like Reddit for real customer experiences before committing.

This place is such a bad business. I had a reaction to the microneedling rf, purchases a package through a lender they work with.
When I couldn't do the microneedling and receiving no help from them. Of the 2400 loan I took out, they refunded me $200. For three microneedling of face and neck *minus one I used and had the reaction. So they refunded me $200 for two microneedling of face and neck and three lasers. Do your self a favor and go to a real dermatologist. This place is a scam.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!

I purchased a laser package with LaserAway for my face, neck, Brazilian, and underarms, totaling $4,000. From my third appointment, I voiced concerns about the laser power, as it consistently felt low and didn’t warm up, leaving me skeptical about its effectiveness. By the last session, I had noticeable, fast-growing hair, so I documented everything in pictures. Initially, I was told I could file a complaint, but they later dismissed it. Rather than addressing my concerns, the staff just pushed more packages on me, demonstrating passive-aggressive sales tactics without addressing the treatment issues. This has been an incredibly frustrating experience, and it feels like a complete scam—had I known about others’ similar experiences, I would have looked elsewhere.

I am not a customer, will never be a customer (especially after seeing these reviews!) but somehow I am getting 4 spam emails EVERY DAY telling me how great they think they are and how they think they can give me a free prize or a discount on unwanted and unneeded services. Want to improve, LaserAway? Then STOP SENDING SPAM MAIL TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE NEVER HEARD OF YOU NOR NEED OR WANT YOUR FAKERY SERVICES! In other words, keep your botox and lasers to yourself (I looked you up, I see what you are and I deeply disapprove). I will keep my original-work tattoos that my late husband designed for me. How dare you try and FORCE me to come to one of your shady little offices to fill me full of poison and burn me to remove my very much wanted reminder of my beloved, then charge me 5x a month's income for what I consider torture. I am not interested in your "services" nor your harassment. I love me the way I am. I don't need your fake and expensive "improvements" because YOU want to change a person you have never met, you just ASSUME has body image issues. Stop buying email lists from other scammers and leave people the Hel alone! If people want you, people will find you. I do not want you.

I paid $4700 and promised that it will work , 70% of my hair will be gone.
Will that did not work at my fine hair area as arms and thigh, as it became more thick and darker from shaving. If you said anything to them, they will tell you, you know hormones and other reason and you will need maintenance another $2000

I am not a hairy person and I paid almost $5000 and they want another $2000 for maintaining.
I will never recommend this place to anyone. And will never go back there, they called and apologized and I got the refund for the Botox I was not planning to use. As once you don’t trust the place you go, you will never be able to let them touch your face.

STAY AWAY!!!! I paid over 4k for 2 treatments of thermage which was supposed to help me tighten the loose skin on my stomach. I was told I would see full results after a year. It has now been over a year & if anything, my loose skin is actually worse. I came in to take pictures of the results and the lady that did my consultation told me that she understood my concerns and she didn’t think that I got 4k worth of results. I, then, receive a call from Brian that tells me that he thinks my results look great & that he’s “sorry” I feel that way about myself. Are you kidding? I told him that the lady that did my consultation for me, agreed with me as well, to which he basically called me a liar? I didn’t necessarily want a refund, just something that would help me see results. When I asked if he could help me in any kind of way, since I didn’t receive what I paid for, he told me to go buy over the counter creams and give it time. If that was the case, why did I spend 4k? I could’ve just bought the cream in the first place. Then he told me I can buy another treatment, so i would have to spend thousands of dollars anyways. The whole place is a scam. DO YOUR RESEARCH!

I went in for a consultation many months ago to the Woodland Hills, CA location. I was told by the company representative manager that IPL (laser) would help get rid of my alleged sun damage. I paid for a pack of 6 services. I then went in for the IPL and the Laser Away nurse said that IPL would do more harm and it was not approved for my skin. She said the heat would cause more melasma. Long story short I would NEVER go to any Laser Away facilities. I’ve told all of my family, friends and clients to NEVER go there too.

Multiple times since July Laser Away has promised me a refund check over 900$. I have not received the money. I keep getting the run around which is very dismissive and patronizing.
Furthermore there is no consistency on service recommendations. The manager said I was a candidate for IPL and the other staff said no.
Lastly Amanda in the corporate office responded to one email that my money would be refunded via check. She has not responded to several calls and emails as I’ve been following up. I've told all of the people around me to NEVER go to this company. Horrible experience that has left me feeling insignificant and in despair.

Stay away from Laser Away. They are completely unethical. Everyone was incredibly positive when I scheduled and submitted my paperwork. However, when I tested positive for Covid Thursday and gave them more than 24 hours cancellation notice, they still refused to refund the $375 | was required to pay in advance. I'm a working mom. I return from pregnancy leave next week or whenever I test negative and won't have PTO to take a half day for the foreseeable future. I cannot afford to lose hundreds of dollars indefinitely when I could be putting funds for a service I didn't receive towards post-labor medical bills. They know about my situation and their team doesn't care about my circumstances at all. At this point I would not give them my business or reschedule even though they won't refund my money and I will be advising my friends not to do so as well. I cannot support a business that takes advantage of their patients in compromised positions and won't issue a refund for a cancellation that costs them nothing. They schedule same and next day appointments and can easily backfill. Their automated bot even texted me about my own appointment cancellation and the open availability to quickly fill the spot. Refunding your money in the case of a medical emergency costs them nothing at all but will cost you hundreds. Do not book here.

I thought Laseraway was a reputable business as it is very well known, little did I know I was about to sign up for the worst experience of my life! The mental torture and stress I had to go through is unbelievable. I am baffled how they scheme people into signing up for their service WITHOUT CONSENT! When I tried to cancel, the very next moment, they said there was nothing they could do and that it would ruin my credit! Very unprofessional and unreliable company! I made a terrible mistake of trusting and calling them, this is an honest review and I have message proof that what happened to me was also experienced by several customers on red-it. I had 2 rounds of Coolsculpting done on my back at LaserAway in Concord. The technicians were very nice and knowledgeable. The treatment itself was not too unpleasant, however, it does not work. Waste of $2,200. Save your money.

I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience at LaserAway. After spending around $3,000 on treatments for my legs, bikini, and underarms, completing every session in my package, and diligently following all the guidelines and aftercare instructions, I saw absolutely ZERO results. When I voiced my concerns the girls at the location were very kind and helpful, however, because the tech saw how much hair I still had, she had to turn to corporate. Corporate reached out and instead of addressing the complete lack of outcome or offering any kind of solution, they tried to SELL me MORE packages!!

What they don’t tell you upfront is that their packages are designed to keep you coming back, making you believe that once you finish, you’ll only need one or two “maintenance” sessions. Which are NOT INCLUDED in your package. It’s clear they DO NOT guarantee results and don’t stand behind their services, which is infuriating after such a large investment. The lack of transparency and care isn’t worth spending another penny on this company. I would NOT recommend LaserAway for any of your laser hair removal needs.

I recently visited LaserAway Oxnard and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I was expecting skilled nursing staff to administer my injectables, but that was not the case. The results of my Botox treatment were unfavorable, leaving me quite unhappy with the outcome. To make matters worse, the Xeomin I received didn’t seem to work at all.

Additionally, I faced a frustrating situation regarding pricing. Once I arrived at the clinic, the staff switched the prices on the products twice, which felt very unprofessional and left me feeling misled. Overall, this experience did not meet my expectations, and I would not recommend LaserAway based on my experience. Additionally they never get back to you in a timely manner or at all. I was told my issue was escalated to management, but it’s been a month and no one has reached out.
Overall they are poorly run and do not provide the services they claim to.
