Quick delivery

Excellent service and the camera arrived quickly.

Dealing with the company was excellent. They dealt with the poor performance of the delivery company and found a solution.
The delivery company, however, we're awful and didn't seem to care. Customer support for DPD was off hand. Use a different delivery company???

Really accurate description and prompt, timely service.

I was buying a used camera from the Derby branch of LCE to replace one i had dropped in the Thames! I ordered a camera and lens combo which was a slight upgrade on my old one. Almost immediately I got a call from Jim at LCE. He explained that the lens would not go with that camera. That gave me a problem as I have a lot of Canon lenses for the old camera. So I asked Jim if he could find a a like for like replacement as I knew all my lenses would work. He quickly found me the right camera and the lens that I wanted was part of the sale, which saved me quite a bit of money. The camera was a later model of my old camera with a very low shutter count. Jim also arranged a refund on my visa card for my mistake (which was back in my account next day). The camera functions perfectly, the lans is crystal clear, the price was good and delivery very speedy and secure. Jim, thank you again for the help you gave me. It was proactive customer service above and beyond the call of duty, for which I am more than grateful.

Simple ordering system with quick email confirmation and tracking communication. Sadly lens purchase was labelled as clean and free from dust but it full of marks and spots across the whole frame when shooting at a low shutter speed 😫

Item arrived well packaged and as described very happy daughter she can now practice her photography skills

Have used this company to buy and sell a few times and have not had any issues.
Although I think it's difficult to judge the quality of a purchase, as the ratings and descriptions are a bit hit and miss. Little consistency between the various outlets.
That said, my latest purchase of Fujifilm lens looks sound.

The whole transaction with LCE Derby was excellent. From the very fair price given for my part exchange to the swift delivery of the used camera (which is unmarked) the service was excellent. I was particularly grateful for the personal call to talk me through the trade-in procedure - thank you Darren. All in all a really positive experience.
