Proposal for Improved Student Support and Guidance in Self-Directed Courses
Subject: Proposal for Improved Student Support and Guidance in Self-Directed Courses
Dear Support team, I am reaching out to express my concerns regarding the self-directed format of our Level 8 Diploma program and to advocate for enhancements to the student support framework. Current Issues: The absence of tutor guidance for assignments, reports, and research projects leaves students without assistance during preparation. There is no established protocol for selecting topics or obtaining research approval, which causes uncertainty about the relevance of our work. The student toolkit guidelines appear excessively strict—errors in formatting (such as indentation) could lead to automatic rejection regardless of content quality. The assignment evaluation process is not transparent; it is unclear who assesses the work or ensures quality control before final submission. Impact on Learning: This arrangement generates considerable anxiety, shifting my attention away from mastering the content to worrying about technical rejections.

I have been A Decade of Excellence — LCPS Transformed My Family's Professional Journey proud student and loyal…
I have been a proud student and loyal advocate of LCPS since 2016, and what began as my own personal pursuit of professional development has grown into a full family commitment. Over the past nine years, not only have I completed multiple programmes with LCPS, but two of my daughters and my son have also studied with them, each benefiting enormously from the quality, rigour, and genuine care that defines this institution.
What sets LCPS apart is their unwavering commitment to academic excellence combined with a deeply human approach to learning. The programmes are internationally recognised, professionally structured, and delivered with a level of expertise that rivals the very best institutions in the United Kingdom. Whether you are an experienced professional seeking to sharpen your credentials or a young learner taking your first steps into the professional world, LCPS meets you exactly where you are and elevates you beyond where you expected to go.
The support team is exceptional. Responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in every student's success. In nearly a decade of engagement, I have never encountered an issue that was not handled with professionalism, speed, and courtesy. That consistency, year after year, across multiple family members, speaks volumes about the culture this organisation has built.
For any professional, anywhere in the world, who is serious about advancing their career through credible, respected, and internationally relevant qualifications, I give LCPS my highest and most unreserved recommendation. They are not simply a college. They are a long-term partner in your professional growth.
