A beautiful venue and the staff were so supportive from first contact to the evening itself.

The venue itself is a majestic old mansion in a superb location.
Staff in bookings and general management of events friendly and polite and will go out to assist in any way they can.
The in house catering they use, not the best.

Welcoming staff who can't do enough for you. Food not the best though and no fans for airconditioning on a hot day!

Easy to find location, appealing interior (clean, neat etc). The food is complimented by attendees - nice, big sandwiches and chunky chips etc.The staff are all very friendly and helpful, going out of their way in some cases to ensure our event goes well. There is never that sense of being given the cheapest option they could get away with.

We have used The Leeds Club on several occasions and they have always delivered excellent service from start to finish. The booking process is simple, the staff are efficient and easy to deal with and the room and catering are always first class. I would have no hesitation in recommending them for your meetings or training sessions. With it's central location, it is within easy access to all the City Centre Hotels and the train station.

From the very beginning it was clear that The Leeds Club was an exceptional venue with great charm and character which was complimented perfectly by the staff who were accomodating and professional throughout.

The food was of a high quality and all interactions with the waiting staff was polite and courteous (even when we asked for the timings to change).

Our only issue was with the stairs!! Sounds daft but we have a couple of guys with limited mobility who struggled to get to the room onthe top floor as the stairs were incredibly steep and in some instances a tight spiral staircase.

That issue aside we would recommend the club and intend to use it again going forward.

I recently organised a high profile executive board meeting with members coming from HE institutions across West Yorkshire. The event went smoothly with everything laid out beautifully in the Northern Room. The lunch was amazing and the delegates so impressed that we will be holding all of the quarterly exec meetings at this venue. It is also very convenient for connections to public transport as well as driving into the City of Leeds.

We had a room for a lecture then buffet. We have had several complaints about the ability to hear the lecture due to kitchen noise and guests arriving for another unrelated event. The food felt poor quality for the cost. Also disappointing that no one was there to greet us or be a point of contact on the night.

Leeds Club is ideally situated, a unique venue and offered excellent service.

The Pembroke College Cambridge Society has been holding its biennial Northern Dinner at the Club since 2010. We have always been well served and this year was no exception. The staff were efficient and courteous and everyone had a good time. Watch the vegetarian starter on toast which can get a bit dry if not served from the toaster!

We used the Leeds Club for a recent seminar event for 60 and I would not hesitate to recommend them as a great venue with very helpful and friendly staff.

The organiser of the event and staff who hosted it could not have been more helpful, and many of the guests have since written to me to say how enjoyable they found the entire experience. .

This was our first time using Leeds Club as a venue, and we found the whole experience excellent. Whether is was dealing with reception, the sales team for the booking, the finance team for invoicing or the events team on the day, we were made to feel valued and welcomed.

It is great to have a building with such history and character in the centre of Leeds. I wouldn't hesitate to use Leeds Club again.

The only downside was the room did become very warm due to the lack of ventilation & air conditioning.
Overall I would recommend the venue.

We hired a conference room for 12 people in Leeds club. This was on the first floor. The room itself was of a good size, the staff were helpful but the facilities themselves are dated and tired. For example the window in the room didn't open and there was no aircon, they brought in fans which were noisey and took up space. The plasma screens are also old and the connectivity from the table didn't stretch far enough, plus there were no plug sockets for people to plus their laptops in to charge.

Planning was extremely efficient. Changes we needed were also made very quickly and easily on the day. All staff brilliant and fantastic venue.
