Very happy
Very happy with my experience of buying a bike from Leisure lake bikes online,
Everyone I spoke too were very helpful and the bike arrived in perfect condition.
My reason for using this company was the brilliant price offered on the bike but I can't fault the staff.

Shocking customer service from start to finish
I ordered the bike online via click and collect, my order confirmation clearly stated the bike would be ready for collection in 9 days, the reason I chose Leisure Lakes Bikes was the price point, with speedy delivery and local store for easy collection of a fully built bike. On day 9 I phoned the store (Southampton) to check the bike was ready as I had received no further emails since my purchase confirmation. The store had no record of the order and no idea that I could order online via click and collect, they actually tried to tell me that I could not have ordered it online because they do not sell that particular bike (Trek Boone). It took them over an hour to locate my order and find out what was going on. The bike eventually arrived 16 days after I ordered it, the store had to build it which they did and it was ready a day later to collect. When I tried to ride it however, the gears were not indexed correctly, the chain was slipping off the hardest gear and I could see the limiting screw was not correctly positioned (and likely causing this), the gear cable was also loose and kinked; the rear hub was clicking every half / quarter wheel revolution (I have an identical bike so I know what the rear hub should sound like, this was all wrong) and the rear disc brake was rubbing. I contacted the store and advised I was unhappy and would like a full refund, considering all the problems I'd already had with delays and nobody having any idea about how click and collect works. They agreed verbally that a full refund would be issued. I took the bike in an hour or so later to return it and was surrounded by 3 members of staff all wanting me to show them the problems, which I did. But then the man who built the bike came over (I'm sorry I don't know his name but it was approx 11-11.30am on Sat 11th July at the Southampton Go Outdoors branch) and said the bike sounded completely fine and he could not see a problem, he said he had built it and it was fine. It clearly wasn't. Whilst the bike was upside down to enable me to demonstrate the gears jumping all over the place when changed (obv whilst I was turning the pedals), this man looked and me and said "the gears don't work when the bike is upside down". This particular man was incredibly dismissive, defensive, bordering on aggressive in his manner towards me. He just glared at me with a horrible expression throughout. I was a woman on my own and it very quickly became crystal clear he did not like being told by a woman that the bike he had built was not correctly tuned (a woman that has a fair bit of experience with bikes). He started searching online on his phone for "manufacturing requirements" and basically would not believe or accept anything I was saying (the other staff by the way were kind and helpful) but this man needs calling out over his seemingly incredibly misogynistic behaviour towards me. He scared me, it was horrendous and I was shaking whilst waiting for my refund to be processed (which seemed to take an eternity because nobody could get anything done quickly on the till). I will never ever set foot in that store again because of that man.
Oh and the free insurance they set up for me when I initially collected the bike, well I never received any confirmation or anything until today (12 days later) when the insurance company realised they had spelt my name incorrectly and email too.
The worst experience of purchasing a bike from start to finish and everything in between. Thankfully I was able to get a full refund but the errors, lack of knowledge and skill of staff, the significant stress caused (I needed that bike in 9 days time) and time wasted was completely unacceptable and frankly astounding from a so called established company.
Absolute legends at the Leeds store
Absolute legends at the Leeds store! 5 stars is not enough. Brought my Cube e-bike in with a sketchy clicking noise around the motor. The mechanics diagnosed it instantly, straightened the bolts, aligned everything perfectly, and now the bike is dead silent. They even sorted my mudguard on the house! Friendly, super fast, and top-tier professionalism. If you want your bike sorted by people who actually know their stuff, this is the place. Huge thanks to the team!
