Difficulty manoeuvring throug the store

Visited Lidl today and had to manoeuvre throw large trollers for shelf filling and loads of boxes all round the store from which merchandise had been put in shelves. This is not uncommon but today was by far the worst. Come on Lidl you are better than this. Employ sufficient staff.

Awful trip

Awful trip. Not a single person is ever on the tills these days. More automated tills that have one dude running ragged because they keep failing.
Leaving is like leaving a train station and having to put your ticket in the turnstile. Except if you haven't actually purchased something you then have to chase down a worker to let you leave. Felt like a prison rather than a store.
Staff getting canned, just for machines to give the rest of the staff even more workload and stress.
Receipts also just now state the amount of products you bought... so If I needed a refund on something and cant remember if I bought it on the trip where I bought 32 items, 6 items or 10 items do I have to keep every receipt to bring back? I am not saving every receipt like a little paper hoarding dragon. I just wont be back.

Lidl is really good on different brands…

Lidl is really good on different brands of food and being quite cheap. Has a great bakery and a good variety of veg and fruit. But does lack friendly staff. I was served today by a lady whom was literally throwing my shopping through the till and she completely ignored me talking to her colleagues instead, no hello or goodbye!! Are staff trained in customer service 🤔

Would lidl please stop replacing decent…

Would lidl please stop replacing decent products like coconut water with a product called coconut batista milk for coffee, it's full of fake stabilisers YUK.
I am incredibly sick and tired of Supermarkets in the UK replacing good products with vile toxic products full of additives and stabilisers.

Went shopping this morning in Lidl and…

Went shopping this morning in Lidl and there was no internet working in the building and I'd ran of credit. I'm on low income and couldn't access Lidl app to see my coupons, instead of saving money I had to pay more. Thank you Lidl will shop elsewhere in future as everytime I go in there's always an issue . Will start using other shops that have better reward schemes and internet.

No point in using there website

No point in using there website to check if a item is available, as it stock count is wrong, went to a store showing as available but they were completely sold out and the staff told the website is practically useless for check stock.

I went in 5 separate Lidl shops today…

I went in 5 separate Lidl shops today that said the needoh was either available or low stock. None of these shops had them in stock which wouldn't have been a problem and I wouldn't have wasted my time if the system that said whether the item was actually in stock was quicker so that I'd know for certain whether the item was actually in stock or not before I attended the shop. This is very frustrating as I have wasted 2 hours of my time and not accomplished anything.

Lidl purbrook way havant.

Lidl purbrook way havant.
Shame on you lidl, you really have to stop lieing about products coming in store on the wrong date.
Re, 2x3 meter sun shade sail...your app claimed it would be available in store on 19th July 26. A couple of days later the very same product would be available on the 12th July...went up again on the 13th July 26 because the app said (low stock) they did not have this item on either day, I stopped a member of staff on the floor and asked where this product located? She replied they had sold out and had been in store on the 7th July and sold in no time.
The upshot is whoever man's the app I suggest they be sacked.

For 3rd time in a few days no blue hand trolleys. I notice a number of people complaining about this. For God sake Lidl just buy some more!!!
After the debacle of the new Lidl points programme you think they'd try and please customers - someone working there said it had been reported to head office several times but they wouldn't give them any more - woeful!!

Appalling customer service and completely unreliable website stock info

I am writing to formally complain about a recurring issue with your website's stock availability and the disrespectful treatment I received from your customer service team.

On three separate occasions, your website indicated that a specific case fan was "In Stock" at a local store. Each time, I traveled 30 minutes out of my way, only to be told by the storekeeper upon arrival that the item was actually out of stock. In total, I wasted three hours of driving time due to your un-updated website system.

When I finally called customer service to report this and ask for assistance in locating a store that actually had the item, the representative was incredibly dismissive. He told me he could only call one store and flatly stated, "We are not that much free" to call different locations to check stock for me.

As a customer, I have suffered lost time and fuel because of your faulty website, yet your staff showed zero empathy and treated my request as a nuisance. I expect your inventory system to be fixed so other customers aren't misled, and I expect your support staff to be trained in basic decency and helpfulness.
(I am based in Leicester and this happened today around 4pm.)

Today July 10th I returned a pannet of strawberries to Lidle as they had grown slight mold in appearance , I almost just threw them away but decided to return them , wasn’t hopeful of a positive outcome , however I found BEN store manager at Shoeburyness , unbelievable , absolutely brilliant Wow what a Manager , so positive to me the customer , Ben apologized profusely and chose a fresh punnet of strawberries for me , he didn’t make me feel like I’m an inadequate shopper , on the contrary Ben was profusely apologetic , helped me chose a fresh punnet and couldn’t have done more , I was literally blown away by this amazing guy ,
THANK YOU BEN !

Shocking 😳 brought a family size bag of potato hoops only to find they had a shocking amount of salt in the bags, unbelievable as if you ate them they would make a child very sick and an adult,
It was if the bags had been given a few teaspoons of salt, very fine and laying in the bottom of the bags,so obviously well above the 6% stated on the bags !!
I did complain to customer service only to be offered a voucher of £2.. and a sorry.
So they just fob people off. SHOCKING. I just hope that there grandchildren don’t get given any like these.
We all know to much salt is very bad for our health…..p.s pictures available.

No basket's, no protein bars, overpriced

No basket's, (in Aldi the security return the baskets to the front door for customers. This one didn't bother. Just stood there with his arms crossed weather it's their job or not) went at 5:30pm too which I thought wouldn't be too busy and it was rammed. Prices are higher than Aldi even though it's a same owners. No protein bars, expensive shop compared to Aldi. Disappointed

There is a member of staff at the Lidl…

There is a member of staff at the Lidl on Cowley Road in Uxbridge called Rashimi who is consistently rude to customers, and especially to me. She has no customer service skills whatsoever. I’ve never encountered anyone like her in that store. Her behaviour is unacceptable and makes shopping there an unpleasant experience.

Today, I came into the store and she immediately spoke to me with a rude, aggressive attitude and proceeded to rain abuse on me. Her tone and behaviour were completely unprofessional, and I was left feeling embarrassed and uncomfortable.

For someone working on the frontline for a brand like Lidl, it’s extremely disappointing that customers are treated this way. A local store should be a welcoming place to shop, not somewhere customers feel intimidated or disrespected. I hope this matter is investigated and addressed so that no one else has to experience the same treatment.

Lidl, Parkside and honesty are not in the same room!

Robot Lawn Mower.
Purchased March 2025, started erratic faults May 2025, faults reported (Contact Ref. 132318981)
Referred to NOVO uk their service agent who promised replacement parts, repair or replacement. No further contact from NOVO other than form responses to multiple emails containing lies and excuses - All retained!
This continued until April 2026 ( beyond 12 months since purchase) when out of the blue people were reporting receiving replacement mowers or refunds - I then again contacted Lidl to ask why I had not been refunded or had my mower replaced and NOVO refused the refund! Why - because after waiting so long I attempted to get the mower working again by self repair (with no reliable success) I had shared this publicly online AND with Lidl and NOVO.
I must here refer to NOVO’s first response “parts” being the operative word - had parts actually been sent as advised as a possible solution then fitting those parts was surely acceptable under warranty (had they been sent!) so surely investigating the source of the problem cannot be a breach of warranty conditions 13 months after purchase!
I do know exactly what the fault is and it is one poorly made and installed component that allows moisture into the cavity where the circuit boards are!
