I purchased a lincat hob for my seasonal buisness only used 6 months a year just out of warranty in March2026 phoned lincat to see if they could do anything the after sales customer service was shocking the attitude was even if you hadn't used it for two-year its out of guarantee cant fo nothing about it. I bought a hob six months ago and it’s still under warranty. However, the company claimed the issue was caused by misuse and refused to take responsibility—without any evidence. It’s clear they just don’t want to carry out the repair. Do not buy this brand—it’s a complete trap. If I could give zero stars, I would.

We bought 2 machines worth over 20, 000$, they are gone off after 1.2 years, and they do not take any responsibility and left our business in lurch for 6 weeks no response and still counting. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS USELESS MACHINES.

If you are working in hospitality industry, never use Lincat as they have poor warranty service and incur unreasonable service charge. It highly increases the operating cost provided that their retail price is not cheap with with poor after sales services, totally not value for money to buy it.

Refused warranty repair on lincat boiler - 6 months remaining .
Telephoned customer service only to be shouted down by employee.
This was my 17th boiler that I have purchased over 10 years for various customers. Sadly it will be my last - going to buy a Burcol water boiler next time. Lincat 2 year warranty is worthless .

Water boiler broke down after 6 months and it’s an expensive rubbish tea boiler , so you expect better.
Engineer came said he had fixed it, but he hadn’t.
Next engineer came to fix and broke other parts and ordered new parts, but then the engineer took over a week to come back again.
All under warranty but how do I run my business properly without anyone caring about my tea boiler

We bought a Lincat grill from Nisbets - it arrived faulty (one side overheated, the other didn’t heat at all). When we called Nisbets, they told us to contact Lincat directly. Lincat then tried to blame our qualified electrician and said we’d need to pay a £165 call-out fee plus £65 per hour labour, even though the warranty clearly covers parts and labour.
When we asked Nisbets to take the grill back, they refused and said it must be repaired first. Neither company is taking proper responsibility for selling a faulty product. Very poor service - we would not recommend.
Absolutely terrible experience with Lincat. Bought 5 Cibo+ ovens from them for all our sites, and within two years all 5 units have had to be replaced as they were faulty, now they are all developing faults again and they just say the warranty is over.
At over 4k a unit you'd expect better than two years life on it. Customer service is terrible, constant mistakes with engineers not showing up, waiting for parts for weeks, to then be told that specific part isn't under warranty, etc.
Avoid at all costs.
We needed to get our griddle repaired and it took days for an engineer to come and take a look at it. Although it did take a lot longer than expected for him to come over, he did an amazing job fixing it and did a few extra bits for us. I recommend Christopher Palmer if you need any Lincat products repaired
Terrible experience. And even worse customer support / service. I bought a Lincat hot water boiler for an office. The hot water boiler lasted 4 weeks and a fault came up. We contacted the supplier and 3 weeks later a service man arrived to say the PCB needed to be replaced. Keep in mind the boiler was only 4 weeks old but these things happen. 6 weeks after the service guy called we phoned up to be told the parts were not ordered. Since then when we had to contentiously call we have been told on three separate occasions a service guy would be calling and never arrived. I have asked for the boiler to be removed and ill replacing with a Burco boiler.
We ordered a Lindcat-branded product via Booker, but the delivery was late – and we had already informed them in advance that due to the delay, we no longer needed the product. The box was never even opened. And yet, they charged us 25% of the total amount. For nothing. Literally, nothing.
This kind of behavior is outrageous. It’s not just poor service – it’s a blatant lack of integrity. Instead of admitting fault and acting fairly, they penalized us for their own failure. This feels like a deliberate attempt to profit from customers through dishonest means.
Frankly, it’s no surprise their rating is as low as 1.8. And it should be even lower.
We strongly advise everyone to stay far away from Lindcat – whether you’re buying via Booker or directly. We certainly won’t be doing business with them again, and we’ll be warning others too.
Dishonest, unreliable, and completely unprofessional
Purchased a fryer for £7k. The filtration system has never worked sinse the day we got it. We have had numerous call outs and various fixes, yet it is still not working. Lincat have refused to change it, refund us or exchange it. We have one year left on warranty and they are stringing us along, the engineers who come out tell us different things and our staff are putting themselves at risk by changing the oil manually which the equipment was not built to be used in this way. They also billed us £217 for a callout which they said was our staff causing a spillage. We have disputed it as the fryer is leaking and they sent a debt recovery letter to us. They have stopped responding to my emails letting them know the filtration system is not working. The worst service I have ever received.
Oven Seal has broken on my 6 month old, barely used oven, rendering unusable. Lincat customer services refuse to replace the seal - as it is a consumable item, and therefore I must assume they anticipate this part will break frequently.
Clearly this product is substandard and there is a complete lack of care from the Company
Wow I have purchased a hot wet display cabinet from Lincat to display our pizza slices but item got rusted in 3 months I have contacted them and they said (shockingly) I have put products with high moisture content in them…… god sake cabinet got water container in it to keep food moist. Now they do not answer me stay away from them .
Hi after long thought I have decided to write this review as a 25+years cafes, restaurants and takeaway owner , still actively own 7 hospitality businesses and spend thousands and thousands pounds on lincat equipment and every single time regrets ( I think designers and engineers needs more research about products,for example I spent thousands on lincat wall water boilers for each shop and disaster, you can come check all new and almost 1k each, no recommendations about these products!! 2nd contact grills panini machines , oil tray is are useless, i don’t know why is there if oil is going everywhere else instead to tray, spring are always broken in fist months!we have to use a lift system to use it! Etc etc
If you don’t believe send someone to inspect all my businesses and storages with full of lincat products.please buy a kettle for 20 pounds to do better jobs than lincat products

Since we started using our brand new Lincat Silverlink 600 Electric Chargrill it has broken down practically every single month - It is now out of warranty so a £2k costing grill is no longer working and they won't do anything about it they just limped it out of warranty!
Appalling company that cannot be relied upon to support your catering business.
Ordered a £2.5k oven for next day delivery for a new bar opening, didn’t arrive next day so called to be told it was being delivered on Friday (2 days later). At 10am Friday received an email that stated due to courier issues the oven would be delivered early the following week.
Absolutely shocking service that has directly impacted a new small business. I would not use this company again and would not recommend under any circumstances, use a competitor who I am sure values customer service far more this company does. Thanks for nothing!
