The site is very easy to use and secure, protecting sensitive information.

I’ve been banking with Live Oak for years and it’s been a good experience all these years.

Friendly user interface...the information you want or need is right there...no clutter. Easy transfers. Good rates.

Supposed to give $200 for making a large deposit and the $200 was not given.

Web interface is great. Rates are great. All you want.

Venue is terrible. No slope on seating makes it very hard to see. Will never buy a lawn seat again because of the obstructed views.

The good news is that when my account was hacked and $20,000 stolen, Live Oak Bank worked diligently to retrieve it and succeeded. It is an act for which I will be eternally grateful. But their interest rate has continued to fall ever since I opened my account.

Originally attracted to LOB for its very good APY in 2019. Over the years I've been really impressed with the service and efficiency of transaction -- we use the bank to hold all our current, non investment savings and when needed can easily move funds to our checking account on time (usually taking only a single business day.
Phone support is fantastic with knowledgable & responsive call center personnel.
(Over the years we've several accounts with other internet banks that can't compare to LOB.
You will not be disappointed if you move to Love Oak Bank.

Mixed bag. If all you want is a "park cash and forget it" high-yield savings account, it works well. If you expect modern digital banking features, reliable Quicken integration, multiple customer support channels, or polished communication, be prepared for a frustrating experience.

We’ve dealt with multiple banks over our 8 years in business, including several Tier 1 institutions, but working with LiveOak has been by far the best experience. Their agile approach, meticulous attention to detail, and absolute commitment to agreements were top-notch. Having worked in the banking industry myself earlier in my career, I only wish I had been part of a workplace culture like the one they have cultivated here.
A special shout-out to Tyler Cocozziello, Huntley Munn, and their respective teams. I know there were many others behind the scenes who helped us close this Refi / Funding Note, which involved a highly complex legal and business structure across multiple locations. Seeing a financial institution stay so laser-focused on details and structured enough to hit tight deadlines—completely free of the usual corporate red tape—was incredible.
