Worthless LCS

I have ´$800 worth´ of LCS left in my wallet, that I cannot sell, cause they´ve scammed people and pulled the rug out from under them. So guess what I think about making use of their service(s)?

Response time frame⭐⭐⭐⭐

The response regarding the complaint is really quick...I had to deal with two scenarios And it's really nasty scenarios too. Some trader might underestimate the understanding of a newbie. But as a newbie who does their assignment before jumping into a big decisions, together with the people that act as the intermediary in this situation we can rest assured that investment is safe. Localcoinswap thank you and always keep that good response

Useless. They claim support is 24x7 yet I have over 48 hours waiting for an admin to even look at my trade, all because the buyer doenst pay or respond to the trade. It’s hilarious, avoid this site. Binance p2p all the way

Never contact JDRBitcoinsUK he is a scammer

Never contact JDRBitcoinsUK he is a scammer. I want to tell my story, I decided to buy cryptocurrency from this seller, after accepting the transaction, he sent me his details, after which I transferred the money to him. When he received my money, he began to request my documents under all sorts of pretexts and collect personal and confidential information, which is prohibited by law. I was surprised why the site allowed him to work in this mode, although you do not have such rules, these are his personal beliefs. He ended up cheating me out of £1000 and I lost my money.

Please step in to resolve this opened dispute. I will be so glad to give an update.

We have zero tolerance for third party fraud and scams, as a result your account was banned after your displayed significant indications of illicit activity and admitting that your "partner" was attempting to make payments on your behalf.

Banned without reason

I was banned just because somebody complained about me. Did nothing wrong on this platform. Probably competitors from from AgoraDesk did his dirty job. Sad.

Great

Great, if you want to wait for your escrow transaction for days, even for a week. I don't care that it was 'bad timing' in terms of blockchain gas fees going up at that very moment: they showed me a bar, and I put it to 'middle' gas fees and had to wait for A WEEK for my transaction to get dropped from the blockchain. This should be a service, they are CHARGING for it, and I AS A CUSTOMER OF THEIR SERVICE shouldn't have to wait for DAYS. And yes, 'child pays for parent' option would have cost just as much as the transaction itself, around $300, so thank you Localcoincrap. AVOID AT ALL COST.

It's crucial when performing on-chain transactions to set a suitable fee, if you're unsure how to set a suitable fee it's always highly recommended to leave the default set as it accounts for the current conditions and network congestion levels. Additionally, please note we do not charge a fee for on-chain transactions at all, any fees incurred are purely transaction fees.

Completely safe for trading

My first expirience was with a person that was pushing me not to follow the safety guidelines. I was not sure whether he was doing it unwillingly or trying to scam me. When I wrote the support team, they immediatelly intervene and we sorted things out the best way possible. The guy was a scammer and the scam was caught on time.

Early days but looking good...

Early days for me so far with this platform, yet all bodes well. Already one successful trade and I'm impressed by how the site works. Kudos to LCS.

Check out the alternative P2P crypto sites (as I have) - they're mostly bent, insecure, unreliable and/or more expensive, even/especially the bigger ones.

Always check reviews on Trustpilot etc, though beware fake paid-for reviews. Not all companies stoop so low but there are still plenty among them that do. Review platforms like TP do try to prevent such practice but unscrupulous companies and review sellers are increasingly smart and can usually find ways around any barriers.

Fake reviews are normally not too difficult to spot - typically a glut of vague, brief reviews to overwhelm any genuine negative ones, and often by reviewers with barely any other reviews posted. They'll sometimes even refer to named individuals to try adding credence, e.g. "John in support helped me a lot".

Conversely, negative reviews can sometimes also be fake of course (e.g. by competitors). Or simply undeserved, due to reviewers' own mistakes, misunderstanding or misfortune (some examples here I believe).

For me, LCS was the only P2P site to survive my review checking, hence my decision to go ahead and try them. We'll see...

As LCS and others constantly remind us, just stick to the rules, processes and common sense and you won't be scammed - simple as that.

Buyers:-
ONLY send payment AFTER the LCS trade screen confirms the crypto is securely in ESCROW. Then you'll be safe.

Sellers:-
ONLY complete the trade, i.e. by confirming payment received, AFTER you've first checked payment IS DEFINITELY RECEIVED by you.

NEVER trust any buyer's screen grabs purporting to 'prove' that payment was sent. If there's any delay in receiving the payment, you must simply wait until it arrives. If it isn't received yet, NEVER confirm on the site that it is, even if you're in a hurry or trust that it will come through.

Buyers and Sellers:-
NEVER enter into offsite communications with a buyer or seller. Don't be tempted by offers to trade offsite to save on fees etc, however convincing.

NEVER accept at face value any email, PM, text message or call. Scammers can phish your details, spoof websites, or acquire or hijack your phone number.

ALWAYS use 2FA, preferably with an authenticator app like Authy or Google (i.e. not simply OTP codes sent by SMS message - these can be intercepted). This protects you against any scammers logging in as you, even if they know your login details or hijack your phone number.

Any crypto you buy or swap should be transferred into your own offsite wallet, preferably a hardware/cold wallet. Do this as soon as possible after the trade.

The provided LCS wallets should be pretty secure against external attack but nothing beats your own cold wallet for peace of mind. If a hacker ever does get into your account, they will then have easy access to your LCS wallet also. An empty wallet is of no use to them.

There may be other trading security threats and safeguards not covered here. Your own due diligence at all times is essential.

ABC = Assume nothing; Believe nothing; Check everything!

No digital security can ever be 100% foolproof but you can avoid becoming another sitting duck by taking basic precautions.

Finally, just one point I really must add...
It's often advised to only trade with those who have an established record of satisfactory trading. This is not the best advice at all. Completely unnecessary, useless and irrelevant in fact. Also it's damaging to everyone's interests, especially newcomers (more on this below).

You could be missing out on many good opportunities for your trade offers that newcomers are responding to, or their own offered trades.

It's a chicken & egg situation that can unfairly punish honest newcomers to the platform. Even the most seasoned and genuine traders had to start from scratch, yes? How could anyone ever build a trading record if no-one would trade with them in the first place?? Exactly!

Remember, so long as you follow the right procedures and precautions (as described above) you can safely initiate a trade with *anyone* - newbie or not, scammer or not, buyer or seller. You don't have to commit to nor complete any trade unless you're absolutely satisfied everything's going as it should be at each step along the way after the trade process is initiated. It's not difficult or complicated - just follow the clear & simple instructions on site, to the letter.

Seemingly 'good' trading records can easily be established by the untrustworthy anyway, for instance by conducting numerous dummy trades and reviews with their associates.

Had to get this one off my chest, especially being a newbie myself!

Safe and happy trading to all! :-)

today i complete my first year selling…

today i complete my first year selling on LCS, almost 2 million in volume and it has been exceeding expectations, the most important thing when trading p2p is being able to control who you trade with and in case of any issues or scam attempt, get fast and informed support, I have used all p2p platforms, and its not even comparable, i was surprised sometimes with support intervening to fix issues in trading chat without yet reporting the issue which is unprecedented, bare in mind that many of these bad reviews might be scammers who are angry it didn't go their way as LCS makes it clear there is no place for scammers, there is not even time to waste and there is no second chances, or people who wasn't careful and paid trade without escrow ignoring all the LCS big red bold warnings, today i celebrate a great year and it has been a pleasure and privilege to have used this platform, juan, adam, and all the support team, thank you, i am grateful, i hope you continue to be as great as you are.

Absolute rubbish

Absolute rubbish. Tried to buy from a supposedly top seller. Followed all of the rules & my account is deleted/disabled when I try to log in.
I try to support these P2P websites but it never works out. I will just go back to using centralised exchanges.
