Appalling customer relations.
I was looking to buy a property they were selling. When I contacted them and arranged the viewing, they were professional, very helpful and polite and so was the viewing.
After the viewing I decided to get in touch with the agent and was able to contact the agent very easily. I was asked to kindly send a single best bid for the property along with details to back my claim as a potential buyer.
The agent then told me I would be contacted either that night or the very next morning once a decision has been made as there were other prospective bids.
Next afternoon comes, property is showing as sold on rightmove and I’ve heard nothing. In the afternoon I tried to ring at different times and sent an email to the same agent just hoping to get some closure and feedback as to what had happened and what was going on. Few days have passed and I’ve heard nothing back.
I don’t care who you are, but if someone was a prospective buyer, you don’t just cut them off like that. Even an automated message or something would have been reasonable. There may be other properties in future they sell that I could be a potential buyer for, but they have burned that bridge.
Will never conduct business with them to buy or sell.
