Very rude staff member - he continued a hands-free phone conversation in a foreign language, didn't help me with an Evri label machine, saying "just follow what it says", then just pointed to a load... See more

Completely overpriced
Completely overpriced. Lack of choice, fewer brands. Little choice and vastly expensive alcohol for instance. The sense of locality feels gone and hollowed out.
Rude insulting disrespectful older female staff member
I’ve been using the local Londis Holyport Maidenhead for 3 years. They have a post office. I was in the queue today and the older female staff member serving barked at me to wait outside to stop congestion. I eventually got to the counter putting my first package on the scales. She asked what was in it. One Christmas card. The price to send she said was £8. I’d sent a card to the same address a few days ago for £4. She said prices had gone up. She said the second parcel would be £8. Three Christmas cards. It didn’t make sense. She asked again what was in the cardboard envelopes I replied as I said cards. She said anything else in them? I replied no as I said only cards. She said there’s no need to take that tone I asked you nicely. I said I replied nicely. She said you really need to calm down. I replied I’m perfectly calm and asked for stamps. She said no. She said she’d send only one of my packages. I said forget it I’ll go somewhere else. She refused to give me my parcel back and said I’m not losing £8 clutching it tightly. I demanded she give it back to me and after arguing for a good few minutes she did. She told me to get out and never come back. I never would go back there anyway I’ve never been spoken to so badly by a shop worker. She’s made comments towards me several times before and walks around with a nasty superior expression and attitude. She’s tried to charge me more than the marked price for items before. Don’t shop there. It’s a horrible experience and you can hardly move in there there’s boxes everywhere and the parking area is full of potholes and constantly flooded. She shouldn’t be in retail she’s definitely not customer friendly. She shouldn’t be allowed to talk to anyone like she did to me

And there’s no signs to say closed or not serving . Because says 24 hours open . They just carry on about not looking at you waiting
Londis Wrythe Lane Sutton
Londis Wrythe Lane Sutton. This store is brilliant. Always clean and fully stocked. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I lost my purse in there and they kept it for me for days and handed it back with all my cards and cash. So honest as well.
Do NOT shop at Londis, Mount Florida.
Absolutely shocking experience with this shop. Went to collect two parcels, the guy (very rude) told me they weren’t there. Didn’t scan my QR code or ask for details. Kept calling me the wrong name. Then asked what was in the parcels. Which I obviously told him
I didn’t need to share. He became extremely agitated. The whole experience was bizarre and he told me to come back. I just wanted my goods so I then contacted the seller who sent me a picture of my parcel actually in the shop. I went back and the guy refused to look at the pic, accused me of threatening the staff (I was as simply asking him to look at a picture and find my parcel)and started becoming aggressive. I started videoing him and he started almost foaming at the mouth with rage. This shop has received my parcels and they have gone missing. Very much feeling like theft at this stage. I have never experienced anything like this. Will be contacting the police for advice and never going near this shop again. If you live in the Southside do not give these horrible, rude thieves your money. I also posted in a community group and several people have had the same experience- something very dodgy going on here.
Staff are always helpful and polite
Staff are always helpful and polite, I'm quite surprised they keep their cool considering how rude and obnoxious some customers are, i was present when a mother was screaming at a staff member for confronting her son for stealing/being disruptive rather than taking accountability for her own child.
Londis Kingswood is a beautiful shop
Londis Kingswood is a beautiful shop, the staff are so friendly and helpful, they try to help and accommodate everyone and find out what the villagers need. They help with the local charities and community. They really brighten up our little parade of shops.

The Londis in Kingswood
The Londis in Kingswood, Waterhouse Lane is one of the most welcoming shops around in the area. They are so nice and have a great selections of drinks, food and even beauty in the shop. Great prices too! The staff are so welcoming and have a great smile on their face. I am so happy this Londis has opened.
The shop is filthy and dingy
The shop is filthy and dingy, but the man who works there was absolutely horrible and rude… even told me where I should stay inside the shop, just near the door…parcels get thrown on the floor with utter disregard to their contents, I have never had worse service in my life and certainly shall not visit again. Not sure why authorities don’t visit the shop…

Disgusting prices avoid wyverstone londis…
Disgusting prices avoid wyverstone Londis. Every item is massively overpriced. 2 x chicken breast Jack's ie tescos brand £5.80 Tescos sells them for £2.48 a cheap cheese pizza £4.70 they are just taking advantage of the locals. I shall be going to co op and avoid that shop. 🤬
Abysmal customer service and non-compliance with the Sales of Goods Act.
Hoola Hoops were stale and as I was still parked on the forecourt, I decided to return the packet and exchange it (as would be the norm in such a situation. WRONG ! The staff will have no truck with such legislation as the Sale Of Goods Act and insisted that I take up the matter with the manufactur of said Hoola Hoops.
A small matter of course but right is right and wrong is wrong. If I treated my customers in such an disinterested and care less fashion I would be in dire straits.
Take a look at the Google reviews and you will see that this is not a case of an atypically poor customer service, rather that it is pretty much 'par for the course' at this Londis/BP service station.
I would have actually given no star
I would have actually given no star. I went into my local Londis this afternoon in Wellswood, Torquay. The 'assistant' behind the counter was an absolute ignoramus. He didn't utter a word throuigh out the whole process of 'serving' me. No eye contact, no greeting, no thank you, absolutely nothing but a scowl on his miserable face. I did say well, that was certainly service with a smile on my way out and he still didn't look at me. I have never experienced such a rude and sullen attitude in a shop before. Will definitely NOT be going back again. Londis you need to train your staff - at least teach them how to look at and speak to your customers,
Zero Alcohol Sold Chilled!
All the major supermarkets and convenience stores stock refrigerated alcoholic beers, ciders, wines, pre-mixed spirits and cocktails, innumerable fizzy and energy drinks, fruit juice, iced coffees and milk.
But as a non drinker I can confirm that it is almost impossible to find any retailers that stock a range of chilled 0 alcohol beers, ciders and wines in their refrigerators.
Heading to the coast this August bank holiday I found myself on another fruitless search for chilled zero alcohol beers and cider until I popped my head round the door of Londis in Wareham.
“I don’t suppose you sell pre chilled zero alcohol cider or beer do you before I waste my time walking around the shop?”
“Of course” said the young shop assistant
“Zeros?” I reiterated
“Yes” he said pointing to the refrigerator aisle.
Well done Londis - let’s hope the UK’s other supermarkets will stop discriminating against us non drinkers and follow suit.
