Dry old oranges

Bought oranges at Londis at 23 Arthurs Hill Shanklin, looked OK but were completely dry inside.
We were served by someone who couldn't be bothered looking up from his phone all the time he dealt with us. So rude. Very poor staff training.

So my local Londis is Woodmansterne

So my local Londis is Woodmansterne, best shop and post office ever !!!!
The guys here are always helpful and will go above and beyond for their customers, you will always feel welcomed to the shop and the guys have great banter so you’re guaranteed a great experience and will leave with a smile.

They do a great selection of Bobby’s crisps, old school white icing cake and 1kg bags of M&M’s as well as alcohol, every day essentials, hardware items and more !!!

Glad it’s not my local

Re. Londis, Palliser Road, W14 9EB

I purchased a 2 litre bottle of milk for £2.49. I consider this to be excessive. The Londis website quoted £1.65, so why is their price so high?

Also, very few products are priced, you have to ask at the till which adds even more chaos to this already overcrowded shop.

Yesterday

Yesterday, I visited a petrol station in Whitstable while taking my dog for a walk. On my way back home, I entered the shop without noticing the sign stating that dogs were not allowed. The assistant came out and began shouting at me to leave, insisting that I take my dog with me. I was taken aback and tried to apologize, but she continued to yell at me and became verbally abusive. Even when I attempted to explain myself, she kept pointing at me and raising her voice. I found her behavior to be quite rude, especially since I had not seen the sign. I was also dressed quite casually, which may have influenced her perception of me. While I don't want to imply anything negative, I couldn't help but feel there might have been an underlying issue related to race. I’m a 68-year-old woman, not a child, and I believe my presence was misinterpreted. If I made an error, please inform me, and I will gladly apologize. However, the way I was treated was completely inappropriate, and I didn’t experience any customer service support during the situation. Everyone can make honest mistakes, and I acknowledge that I made one, but the attitude I encountered was unacceptable. This has been one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had in a long time.

Londis in Madley Herefordshire is selling goods at higher than their marked price I was charged £1.75 for a bottle of pop and only later did I notice the label stayed £1. As usually happens I was too far away from the outlet to turn around and make a complaint.

Literally the most horrible man just served me and tried to double charge me for a £2.99 meal deal. He was shouting in my face calling me a lier when I told him that's not how much it was. He continued on shouting until I told him I wouldn't be purchasing from him. He then magically remembered that the do offer meal deals but stated I would need a different orange juice. Even though the picture in their store showed various drinks. I have never had such a bad shopping experience in my life and would strongly encourage all other customers to boycott them.

Went in here a few weeks back with a friend to grab a sandwich. Seen that there was a couple of chicken fillets left in the deli so decided to go for a chicken fillet roll....(Bad decision). Not to exagerate but as i child i would have chewed on softer stones. It was honestly like trying to eat a slice of stone inside two pieces of alluminium. Im really surprised the Deli assistant didnt break his knife when cutting it in half.

Londis at Latchford Warrington accusing my innocent wife of being a shoplifter.

My wife has just been to a Londis store in Latchford to make a purchase and was told that she was barred from there for shoplifting even though she never has shoplifted in her life.
They had no proof whatsoever but thought it was ok to accuse her .
I wouldn't mind but this is the manager of the store itself it's absolutely disgusting to treat genuine innocent customers this way .

Not disabled friendly

have diverticular disease meaning my bowels release when they want which is embarrassing and very uncomfortable so I need a toilet otherwise I’m in trouble.I am classed as disabled because of this………..I had a flare up and was in need of a toilet straight away and the store nearest to me was Londis Elmstead market who refused point blank to let me use the staff toilet even though I explained I was disabled.I had to leave the store and travel 6 miles to the nearest toilet trying to hold on……diverticular not only causes diarrhoea but also heavy Sweats and migraines meaning driving is difficult. This store refused to help.Shameful

What an absolute disgrace

What an absolute disgrace, refused to refund £1 from tyre machine, I initially thought machine was not working again but was informed by attendant that it is actually £1.50 for air?
Pretty much EVERY garage in Warrington charge £1.
For the sake of refusing to refund my £1, the garage on Manchester Road, Warrington has lost over £100 per month in fuel from myself.

Racist and community parasites

Londis Peacehaven, East Sussex Simply the rudest, most racist, community destroying non give a toss parasitical bunch of overcharging crooks you could imagine.
They will ONLY employ Asian people and am often served by someone who speaks literally zero English. Makes it rather hard to converse as you would guess.
The prices are 20% higher than the same shops 200yrds away. Needless to say I shop there as little as possible.

Not good.

Just after midnight I ordered a bottle of whisky, 3 bottles of pop and a bag of peanuts! (this shop delivers through the night) The order was accepted! I even gave £5 tip to the driver on the app. After 10 mins got a text saying my orders is cancelled No reason why!? I've ordered later than this before and got my order! Maybe just a bad employee couldn't be arsed!? No idea. I get a text if an item I've ordered is not there, so I know that's not the reason.
