This company just called to speak to my son about joining the agency - they also called his friend too. It seems they take on anybody that shows interest. However, they wanted to take £50 refundable deposit (for what?) I got suspicious as they wouldn't take my son's card and asked for my details - I quickly checked the website and saw that they didn't have a facebook or instagram page.

I attended Social Media Models with my 15 year old daughter after paying a £50 refundable deposit. The photo shoot itself was mostly professional, however, one request made by the photographer made my daughter feel very uncomfortable and the photo itself was borderline inappropriate. At the end of the day we were called into a meeting with a man called Michael who sold a pretty convincing package deal for my daughter to complete a photoshoot for Zara this following weekend which would pay her over £3000 for two days work. The international package was £2500 but they said they would pay 50%. I stupidly paid £1250. We were then informed we would have her images within 2 hours blah blah blah. After still not having received her images over the weekend I tried to email and call but got no response. After a few days we realised we had been scammed. I reported the scam to Action Fraud and contacted my credit card company to request a chargeback / section 75 which luckily I was refunded.
I am now seriously concerned about my daughter's images being used for god knows what and even more worrying is the image I deemed rather inappropriate and will be going to Essex Police to report this.

Cannot believe this company be careful they go under different names one is Social Media Model they con you and take £50 returnable deposit when you arrive it all seems too good to be true. You will be offered a job and they ask for a security deposit of anything upto £10000 which they assure you will be given back when you get paid for this fake job. I sussed them as I recognised the postcode W1W 8AN 26a Market Place Fitzovia. Please report them to Action Fraud if they contain t you.

If you paid by card speak to your bank or credit card ask them to do a CHARGEBACK or a SECTION 75 like I did and report to action fraud and their local trading standards.

I've been contacted on the 29thof June by someone who works for social media model based in Oxford Street. To book an appointment and have a photo shoot done I was asked for a £50 refundable deposit which I paid for an appointment the following week. I had my photo shoot with a young and lovely Italian girl on the 2nd of July and after it the team said that they were happy of my photos.
A black man who said that took me in is office telling me that I wanted to offer me a spot in the company and He offered me a package to pay of £2500 to build my own website, have a mentor to build experience and have several training too.
I've started to become suspicious but I felt so eager of being able to finally approach this industry that after I explained that I couldn't afford that price they dropped it to £1000 because sure they will have get the 20% from every my work booked with them. I did pay £1000 by transferring the money from my bank account .I went out of there feeling apprehensive and full of hope.
I said also that the next day i would had to receive a phone call to talk about next steps and actions to take. The telephone call did not arrive, I've tried to call several different numbers of the agency but after a few rings the line dropped. I've not being able to talk to anyone and I sent a text to Michael asking him if I had been scammed but without replay. I then came on trustpilot and saw the reviews from other people and i felt so bad with myself of being so "stupid" beliving them.
Please if there is someone who can give advises about what is best to do now please do not hesitate to contact me.

To scam and violate innocent people I do not know how you all sleep at night.

I took my 4 year old son for a modelling photo shoot after receiving an email confirmation from Xenon Modelling that he had been selected as a potential model.They invited us to their studio in London on Sunday 17th November at 12.00pm.I had to pay a £50 Refundable Deposit to confirm his attendance.

My son had the photo shoot.We then had to go away for an hour so the images could be looked at by a panel & management then a decision would be made if my son was going to be signed.

When we arrived back to the studio we were greeted by someone by the name of Zain.He took us into a room & explained that my son was chosen by the panel & Xenon management to be a Model.All work would be on weekends only & his first shoot would be with Gap Kids Winter Campaign & an advert for Lucozade Kids as they are bringing out a new range for kids.Potentially these two jobs alone would be worth between £12000 & £14000.

They then said that in order to guarantee these jobs there were three packages & that one needed to be chosen & paid for to guarantee work & to put my son on an international platform.He would have his own online website with an agent uploading up to date images of him & he would have an ex model with twelve years experience basically giving advice & acting as his agent.He also said that he would give me a dongle with all my sons images on it too.

The three packages ranged from £3350.00 to £8500.00 & he recommended the top package deal as that would give my son the best platform possible to advance in the modelling industry.I said that I did not have this kind of money & he said that he knew my son would get endless modelling jobs so he was happy to invest £2000.00 as he knew he would get a return on the investment.So stupidly I fell for this.I then paid £6,500.00.

The agent would be telephoning me on Monday 18th November 2019 between 11am & 1pm to go through his first job.A dongle with all my sons images on it.

As we left Zain said please do not say anything to the other parents waiting outside as your son is the only person being chosen today.I thought that was strange.When I got outside of the studio I overheard people saying that this is a scam.I could not get back in the studio as security were on the door.I goggled the company & it was a scam.No photos were on the dongle.

PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THIS.I HAVE REPORTED THEM TO ACTION FRAUD, TRADING STANDARDS AND THE POLICE AND WATCHDOG.THE MORE PEOPLE DO THIS THEN EVENTUALLY ACTION WILL BE TAKEN.

THESE FRAUDSTERS HAVE NO MORALS DO NOT TRUST THEM THEY ARE LIARS & REPEATEDLY CHANGE THEIR NAMES ! !

Hi everyone i was going for photo shoots and they charge me 500£ and deposit as well then unfortunately they not call me again and i was cheated from London fashion models

I have just paid £50 deposit to this place... They literally forced me on the phone to give all my bank details and also my security code for my card. I told them I didn’t feel comfortable about it and they kept on calling me and harassed me. After a while I told them I would pay it online. I did. After reading the reviews I will definitely not go there. On the phone they told me that I wouldn’t need to pay for anything else but that was clearly a lie. I dont know if it’s possible but don’t we have anything we can do about this? We seem like a big bunch of people who have been scammed (some of you have lost a lot of money). They have literally robbed so many people and we could do something about it. Please let me know

I had previously the same experience in Central London, and lost £500 for very bad photos and awful make- up. I looked 20 years older!!!!!!! WT.....
They promised me on the phone, I will pay £50 only and get the photos. LIARS!!!! 2 photos for £500??????? How stupid I was.

You must pay them over £4000-5000 to get any contact or job, but still, no job guaranteed.

They are trained to brainwash you, and pay something. Don't believe them in any word. They have been brainwashed to brainwash YOU!

They do not have any contacts with any media companies. They are liars, and you will not have any job in modelling, movie etc.

They keep changing the names, location, the manager's name does not exist anywhere, and he keeps changing the names too.

How ILLEGAL IS THAT!!!!!

They are thieves, I paid £1000 for my daughter but never got called or given the aftercare services they promised or even the pictures/Portfolio I paid for. They avoided responding to emails and even denied being called LFM the last time I was fortunate to get someone at their end on the phone. Everyone needs to avoid them for they are just a scam.

One of the biggest scams in modelling.
2 years ago as unexperienced in the industry was scammed by LFM. Was promised a website, a portfolio and guaranteed 1 job every 5 weeks, after handing over £900 I never heard from them again, emails, phone calls nothing, avoid at all costs.
London Fashion Models from what I have found out also go by the name of UK Models, same scammers different name.
(There are to many of these scams around, Never ever pay upfront deposit for a photo shoot or studio space as its a scam, genuine agencies don't generally reply within 24 hours of application with exceptance or invites they generally take days/weeks, an invite to an audition/studio or via self tape is free with a legit agency and they except reasonable mobile phone pictures 99% of the time)
SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND NEVER PAY UPFRONT FEES TO THESE SCAMMERS.
