LONDON FASHION MODEL 

This agency is not what it looks like. First my boyfriend filled in an online form, uploaded a photo and then 2 days later got a message to call a number. The guy on the phone was very nice to him, congratulated him as he was selected from hundreds of people (at least that is what he said). Then he told him that my boyfriend was invited to a photoshoot and to reserve a place he has to pay £50 deposit. He obviously was undecided, not sure whether to go forward so he said he would call back later as first he needs to see which agency it is and discuss the matter with me. They then pressured him into paying the money over the phone saying that the place will go as there is a lot of demand so he has to pay now. Without any experience in this industry anyone would fall for this. Long story cut short. Now we won't get our money back. They are saying that he agreed their terms and conditions and there it said, that no refund is given. On their website they stated that by registering you agree the terms and conditions BUT they forgot about something, there is a thing called pressured buying and that is illegal. So they seem to protected themselves from all angle to cover their questionable operations, but forgot about this. When you apply to many agencies and you get a call or a message, you don't know which one contacted you so you ask for some time to decide whether to go forward, so you can check the agency online before paying for anything. This wasn't the case with my boyfriend. I called them today and the guy as I told him that my boyfriend would like to cancel, he knew they couldn't rip him off any further, he started to LAUGH at me saying that he is a grown person so he should have known what he was doing. So he wasn't that nice any longer. Then I checked the reviews online about them and most of them are very negative. Be very careful. Do not pay, or give your card details away over the phone. My boyfriend now cancelled his debit card as in the welcome pack he received AFTER he paid they say that they deduct £150 in case of no show and if we do not call 5 days before the photoshoot, cos they supposedly had to pay for the studio in advance. There is a review worth to read on "thestudentsroom". I am so glad that he cancelled, from what I read online it would have been more and more to pay for. Diamond package, gold package for £2000-3000 even £5000 for photos and other stuff but same talk: - you have to decide and pay now as we have to delete the photos . I don't understand how they could get away with this in the past so far?? By the way my boyfriend's debit card got blocked by his own bank straight after the transaction went through as the bank found it was suspicious. Just think about this...

My daughter and i visited LFM on 22.7.2017 Kayla had a great experience - pictures came out really well and she's had so much confidence in front of camera .she was offered freelance contract and hopeful some great things will happen in the future - later that week Kayla was offered a Weekend role in fashion retail . and accepted at her chosen. college. Good start for adult life . Thank you for the opportunity and experience

i am satisfied with the results of the photos and the staff are so friendly but i keep seeing everywhere that this is a scam and it got me really worried because t says everywhere that they dont ask you to pay and stuff like that so im really confused

Was very dubious about this shoot as there are so many bad reviews about scams and waist of time. Found the studio and had to go up stairs above some shops. Met by lovely staff and made to feel relaxed. Everything looked very professional, from the make up artist to the photographers. Had a great time with 4 outfit changes and 2 hair and make up changes. Outside shoot and 3 indoor shoots.
Afterwards asked to come back in a hour. After chatting with Levine and being offered a freelance contract I'm still in shock. I can't believe it happened. Have to wait 3 and half weeks for offers of work to come my way. But I'll keep fingers crossed. Thank you LFM for a great experience

Misinformation and manipulation is the name of the game for London Fashion Models.
The first thing they tell you is that they are an agency which they clearly are not.
The second thing that they do is take your money. They take £50 as a deposit which is understandable. However it is not refundable as they claim it to be. One must have to buy the photos they take, otherwise the money is lost despite their explicit promise that it will be refunded.
The third thing they do is try to manipulate you and pressure you into buying rather expensive packages of pictures (lowest package is £1500.) With no guarantee of jobs, £1500 is laughable, daylight robbery and I know people who were pressured into buying this.
The last thing about the experience was that it was dreadfully organised. My appointment was at 5:30 one day and it finished at 11. The shoot itself took less than 2 hours, with the photos being of an average quality. Moreover, the company insisted that I had to buy the package on the day, despite only 1 picture being edited. I can only describe the place as being unprofessional and a "macs"

Booked a shoot but realised LFM are not an agency they are a platform to help you get a foot in the door, this is not what we were looking for so cancelled the shoot and received an email confirming my deposit would be refunded in 14 days, guess what! 15 days later and I have not received my refund. Not to worry though as I paid by credit card so have set the hounds loose and will expect a full refund very soon.

Had a amazing time at London fashion models better than what I expected, initially couldn't believe it when I received a call but when I got down there for my shoot I was more at ease.
Thanks to the team that catered for me and made it a beautiful memorable experience glad I gave it a go.

My daughter and I traveled down to London from Glasgow for her very 1st photo shoot, a little worried would be an understatement, however, all the staff were friendly and supportive, the photographer was amazing, she was friendly, encouraging and guided my daughter through each and every outfit change, explaining all the poses and how to make the most of each and every photo.
The make up is basic, my daughter would normally wear more, when doing it herself, although, she looked flawless and natural, and again this was all explained in our consultation.
It is a long day, and you do have to wait a bit, but everything is explained to within an inch of its life, for legal reasons you do have to make important decisions on the day, but, ask questions, "there are never silly questions" only "silly answers" and if you dont ask! You don't find out!
Going to London was a buzz, the photo shoot was an added bonus, we look forward to a very bright and shining career with LFM.

Had my test shoot at the London studio last week and had my aftercare call on Friday extremely happy with the results on the day and looking forward to working towards a successful career with you all. Must add staff are very polite, professional and studio was clean with a great vibe. Rafael

When receiving a phone call from London Fashion Models I was in disbelief and a little sceptical at first. After going down to the Shoot I'm happy to say I was wrong. The studio staff were very helpful at guiding me through the whole process and I'm very pleased with my end results. Thank you to all the staff 👌

I was annoyed by the audacity of London Fashion Models to actually respond on here saying that we take a deposit to eliminate the none serious clients and secure appointments. Authentic modelling companies do not ask the individual to pull any money out of their pocket for a deposit, how unfortunate for me I was not familiar with this type of scam and actually paid your company money. In your response you claimed you'd call me back but never did and when I tried to phone you after making payment your lines no matter what time of day were forever busy. I managed to get my money back by contacting my bank and reporting this company to 'Trading Standards'.

I hope by exposing this company I stop any other poor innocent person from being defrauded by companies like this.

I went to the test shoot and everything went well, but no one is picking up calls, and other people are saying this is a scam and the bottom bit of your website looks dogey about 'verified by google' i have also cheacked on The Association of Model Agents (AMA) and London Fashion models does not show, So now im thinking of that i want refund

My daughter and I travelled from Glasgow to London for the weekend for her first ever test shoot. We were greeted by a lovely team that made us feel welcomed right away as we were pretty nervous as it was our first visit to London too. They even helped us with directions around town for the evening. The makeup artists were fab although the looks were different to what she would usually do herself. Overall our experience was great and would recommend anyone trying to get in to the industry to go through the support and management services the lovely bunch at LFM offer. Sofia

I had a great day with London Fashion Models and would highly advise you to apply with them on their website if you are looking to get into the industry. The day was fantastic my only critique would be the heat on the outdoor photo shoot, apart from that it was brilliant.

I recommend this company to anyone looking to market themselves and break into the Fashion, TV and Music industry.

It's always been a dream of mine to become a model but never thought I'd make it. Big thanks to LFM I now have all the support I ever seeked. I was nervous from the first call till my first visit than all fell into place and the friendly staff were amazing, it's been a beautiful successful experience. Defiantly would recommend LFM

I don't normally leave online reviews but I really do want to say thank you to the staff at LFM for looking after me last week. My style isn't the typical norm so I've always wanted to break into the modelling industry showcasing that. The photographer highlighted my unique features just as I wanted and I'm feeling really happy with the images. Very professional and I recommend using them if your looking to break into the industry.

2 weeks ago I went to LFM studio and today I got my portfolio sent to me, I had a great day, make up artist was absolutely lovely and she really listened to what look I was going for. Photos came out great and the next day I got a call from the company which I feel like was a really nice touch.
I will see where it goes, but so far I had a really positive experience.

This was my first ever time being involved in anything to do with modelling, so I was incredibly nervous when I received a phone call from LFM. The day of the shoot went splendid and I was treated exceptionally by friendly staff members who really made me forget my previous apprehensions. I was successful on the day, and decided to pursue and purchase a portfolio and I am very pleased with the outcome so far. I would definitely recommend London fashion models, great staff and seems to me as though I can be successful under their tutorage.
