Fabulous machine
I’ve been a total coffee snob for a few years and always had a Nespresso machine and had them repaired by Nespresso I was tempted away by cost of this fabulous machine ! Cheap, classy looking easy to use and the coffee is hot ! Risk paid off !
Warning. Try when you buy
Bought a machine for wife around 2 1/2 years ago. It was great. Everyone loved the coffee. So when an offer came up a few months later for the same machine with a load of coffee, I snapped it up as a spare. Then a few days ago the original packed in, after good use to be fair. I unpacked the spare and set it up. Nothing, no water running through it! Called service and immediately told it was broken/faulty. A brand new machine. Now because it was three months outside their two year warranty there was nothing they could do. I get the warranty bit, not complaining about that, but a new machine that doesnt work? Are they not tested before dispatch? I feel kind of ripped off, no big company should be selling faulty goods these days. I guess what i am passing on is only buy from here when you need it. I never thought of checking my machine and its a bust. So my experience of l'or is fifty percent. One good machine, one disgraceful machine that couldnt possibly have passed a check before sale. Hence two stars. I have purchased numerous pods from their site but will not be any longer, will be purchasing a machine from a more trustworthy brand. Cannot fully recommend.
Utterly ridiculous experience
The level of customer service provided by L’OR is effectively non-existent. I was sent what was clearly a used unit, which is wholly unacceptable for a supposedly reputable brand. It took over a week of repeated emails and phone calls merely to obtain a return label, and since returning the item, I have received neither a refund nor any further correspondence.
It appears that L’OR simply chooses to ignore customer communications once they have your money, which raises serious concerns about their business practices. Equally concerning is the fact that they do not even acknowledge or respond to the numerous negative reviews posted here — a rather telling indication of how little regard they have for their customers.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to exercise caution before purchasing from this company.
Couldn't experience coffee machine…
Couldn't experience coffee machine which I ordered , because parcel was stolen and customer service doesn't agree to help . Is it my fault ? I lost money ,because those delivery service decide to leave huge parcel outside.
Good coffee and great customer service
Enjoyed my first purchase when I switched from Nespresso (a lot cheaper). Coffee wise (Profundo v Arpeggio) is more or less the same, perhaps a bit less intense than the latter. Disappointed with the re-order as it was “delivered” to a neighbour I do not know (no house number etc) despite the instruction left to leave it at a safe place. Thankfully excellent customer relation Izabela was very professional and initiated the refund process seamlessly. Good coffee and great customer service!
Not a good machine at all
If you are buying your first machine and has no other reference of how the coffee should taste like, go for it. However, if you do have any expectation regarding your coffee, don't fall for it.
I've been using L'or capsules only for the past 4 years and always had a good experience, so I thought, what's best for a L'or capsule than a L'or machine, right?
Wrong, my leaking and overheating 5 year old Krups Machine delivers a much much better L'or capsule than the L'or machine itself.
To make it worse, they are refusing my right to return it within 14 days.
Honestly, go else where. The rating is not 2.2 for no reason.

I purchased a Coffee machine with 150 pods. All the pods are missing and the coffee machine is not operable because a part is missing and they want me to wait until mid- late Aug and to re- contact them so they can send another machine and pods- I want a full refund ASAP
L'Or Customer service is HORRIBLE ...
Bought a L'Or espresso machine during a promotion on July 5th. It has been 10 days and the machine still hasn't shipped. They "off shore" their customer service - and they only know a script. I don't think they under stand the words. "It will ship in 2-5 days ..." It's been 10 - Worst company I have ever had to deal with. I assume if the machine works and you never need customer service - they are likely ok. But the company clearly has no infrastructure to provide support.

Bought their flagship coffee machine in Feb 2024. Thought I was investing in quality — turns out I was just signing up for a subscription to disappointment.
Machine 1? Died.
Machine 2? Same issue.
Machine 3? Rinse, repeat.
Now we’re on machine 4 — and guess what? It’s coughing up the same problem. If this was a Netflix series, the plot would be: “Groundhog Day, but with broken appliances.”
Tried to file a proper complaint, but their customer service email is now “no longer in use.” Their webform gives you 400 characters to explain 400 days of frustration. I’ve had breakup texts with more empathy.
If L’OR can’t build a reliable machine, at least build a proper complaints system. I didn’t pay premium to be a beta tester in a never-ending replacement cycle. Either give me a refund or stop pretending this product is anything other than a polished lemon.

This brand is not to be trusted I ordered 75 dollars worth of coffee pods and despite requesting investigation when they have not arrived several weeks later nothing. Do not purchase from this company, I tried to get in touch but impossible.
Great coffee - Customer service not so much
I ordered coffee through the Lor website. I used an old shipping address by accident. I noticed this as soon as I hit "pay". I immediately try to cancel the order but there is no option to do this. I contact customer support but it is a "get back to you in 48 hours" type thing. Luckily I get an email before the item has shipped. The person says that they will submit a cancellation. Great! I order another $100 shipment to the correct address. The next day I get a shipped notice for the first order. Then I get an email that says "sorry didn't cancel it". And this is favorite part. The agent suggests a reach out to someone nearby that address and ask them to hold the box so I can go get it. What? I don't live there anymore. What would have been the best solution (after using the correct address - I get that) is to be able to cancel an order in a timely matter. I began trying to do this seconds after placing it. I'm just super frustrated that I now spent $200 for coffee that is already expensive at $100. Customer service is too slow and ineffective.

Was looking for a replacement for my old Nespresso which is now more expensive than most others. Came across a promotion for the L-or machine with 100 free pods, looked a the machine spec compared with Nespresso almost identical. Ordered 4 working days ago, this afternoon delivered via Amazon
Tested, the coffee is superb can have cup or mug, not really a choice with my old nespresso I already had a frother so just ordered the machine. If you are looking for a replacement check their web site.

Madness, the frother unit is broken, makes a grinding sound, the metal connector pins are loose and I need a replacement. It’s in warranty. I only need a frother unit, not a complete new machine. Apparently I have to return the entire coffee unit! In my own packaging, in my own time, via Royal Mail. It will then be decided if I need a new frother. My husband is an engineer, it’s a design fault and getting worse with every use. Will probably break entirely when it’s just out of warranty. We do not need a whole new machine, just the frother! But no, apparently we are not in a climate crisis, we do not need to save the worlds resources, the whole bulky unit needs to be boxed, wrapped securely to prevent the machine getting damaged then looked at to see if it’s repairable, the frother is not, then I may get a replacement…when I stated I just need the frother apparently it’s not possible! Madness, it’s 2025…. When my Gtech fails I get a diagnosis remotely and new parts sent, no time wasting, less environmental impact, less stress. The world has gone mad! So here goes, a complete waste of my time and theirs, I’ll update here when resolved but I’m shocked by the customer service, or lack of it!
Appalling website
I ordered a l'or coffee machine (via Amazon) and am really pleased with it and the quality of the capsules. So why the one star review? Well, because the L'or website is just unusable - without a doubt the WORST website from a 'proper' brand I have ever used. It is utterly disfunctional, even just trying to register a nachine to get the promised credit is impossible. And then navigating the shop - again, impossible, it's an endless doomloop. Fine, I'll just buy compatible pods from elsewhere, but they need to sort this out!
Can't get the lid off the jar !!
I like the coffee, but how do you get the lid off??? I had to get my son to open the jar.
Waiting and waiting
I purchased the machine and some capsules early Nov and it took at least 2 weeks before they said they shipped it. Another 2 weeks and I still hadn’t received it. Stupidly, I ordered more coffee capsules and it’s been 3 weeks and I haven’t heard from them. I have tried contacting them. It’s impossible to get through on the phone and I got nothing so far from my email. I like the way the coffee tastes and that’s why I gave 2 stars. The company is horrible though. At least I can use other branded capsules in their machine.
5 stars for communication & delivery!
Having read some of the reviews I was a little uneasy about ordering from L’or but can honestly not fault them on communication & delivery of our large order of coffee pods. Arrived promptly & able to track the whole way. Thank you!
