I used to love Lorna Jane clothing until my recent shop, I purchased a pair of leggings 28th December 2022, not even 4 weeks old, found a hole never damaged them, manager Marina at Brisbane CBD said I must have hooked my crutch on a nail, no exchange would be given, the quality of the material is garbage and will never shop at LJ again.

I don’t understand why you would not accept Australian Legal Tender!
I don’t want a bullcrap standard reply that you have given everyone else, because it’s a load of rubbish.
Telling customers to go elsewhere to put their cash on a “plastic” gift card and come back and pay…
Pathetic, and reading theses complaints, I’m obviously not the only one who thinks so.

As the same as all the other reviews, wouldn't take my cash so no sale. As it's still a legal tender in Australia and no one cares that you are still working under Australian laws/policies - the fact of the matter is, it's still a legal tender. And I find it totally ridiculous. Cleo Harper for me!!

Refused to let my 14 year old daughter pay with cash...... She had been saving up for months to make a purchase and then wasn't allowed. Cash is a legal tender in Australia and your response regarding the environment is a poor one. Your staff are telling customers to go and buy a plastic gift card from the centre management with cash to then use in your store as a alternative. What a joke.
What makes it funny is it took another customer 4 goes with your card machine for her purchase to go through, which your staff admitted happens all the time.... How's going cashless working for you yeah!!!!
We will not be shopping in your stores again and will spread the world through my wellness community.

I placed an order on 13th jan 2023.
It has been over 12 days and I have still not received my order. The receipt said expected delivery 8-12 days!
I ordered ahead of a trip so I can take the clothes on my travel. But they never came. They have no contact number to lodge a complaint or no way to track the order.

I ordered two pairs of shorts from Lorna Jane in their sale. I order two pairs because they charge extortionate shipping fees - $12 AUD standard which is way too much for one pair of shorts.
They emailed me to cancel one pair - so I contacted them to cancel the whole order as I don't want to pay $12 to ship one pair of $35 shorts. Their customer service response was unhelpful - clearly just copying and pasting policy pieces - lacked any nuance or personality and basically told me tough luck and to suck it up because they won't do anything about it.
This experience is why online shopping sucks - and I will never shop at Lorna Jane again - congrats on getting your $12 out of me.

Have always bought LJ clothing for the gym. Never again quality is so poor could probably buy a better product in Kmart or Target for a much cheaper price. Bought 2 pairs of tights at the begining of November, they are ready for the rag bag the quality is so poor stretched, piling and small holes around the knee area

Love Lorna Jane !!!!
However was very disheartened when I found out her pacific fair store no longer accepts cash as a payment no signs were displayed to acknowledge this before entering the store .
I understand Lorna’s side to it , however cash is a legal tender in Australia and by law you can not refuse payment from any customer with this form of payment .

No cash?! We are no longer going to support your business.
Just a reminder that cash is a legal tender in Australia.
Dismal service, also.
Will be informing our clients, family and friends alike to avoid Lorna Jane.

Was super excited to shop at Lorna Jane today. Got to the til and my total was nearly a grand and they said they don’t take cash. I could have gone to my bank and put it in to pay but I actually don’t support cashless companies. Lots of places people make cash - selling items off marketplace, babysitting, odd jobs, or just setting aside cash through the year to spoil yourself at the end. I’ll head back to Lululemon.

poor website order system, worst customer service ever!!!
heard bunch of reviews saying lorna is comfy blab blah blah so I tried to order on the official website on boxing day, and it showed on the webiste that failed to displace the order, and i didnt receive any order comfirmation. thought it might be the problem of the website.then i made the worst decison ever to purchase the same items and reorderd. Yes, same thing happened again, could't displace the order and no order confirmation as well, however i was charged two times from afterpay. i wait two days to reach out to customer service, and they said they couldn't cancel the order, they were not willling to admit the bug of the website during this huge shopping feast, and tried to transfer the duities to gmail and afterpay( said gmail must block their order confirmation which is pretty ridicuous cause i received the lorna advertising the same day; and if the email of the lorna account is different from after pay account email,my order will not be displaced in my account) the customer team doesn't try to solve problems of the customer but insist on their stupid policy. plus, they can only refund gift card because its not full price item, tell me who will buy full-item on boxing day? so the result is my first shopping online experience on this brand will also be the last one. never ever i will purchase this brand again!!! full of scam!!!

Doesn't except cash - our legal tender. Just a simp company to the government. Ah well, plenty of other places to shop. Hope this backfires on your company big time. No cash, no me.

Use to love this brand, their garments were high quality and lasted a life time - NOT ANYMORE! Only five months ago, I purchased a pair of leggings, for walks and leisure wear and they are now unwearable with holes at the seams of the inner thighs. I spoke to a LJ representative and they pretty much said ‘too bad’, even with my receipt and photos they couldn’t offer me anything. I may as well buy cheap active wear if the LJ company makes garments, low in quality and a short lifespan as well.

First off, I have been a loyal LJ customer for nearly 10 years. Even when I moved away from California, I still buy online because I love their Amy leggings and they have a great fit although the change in material the quality has gone down a little bit. I still own my original Amy leggings from 10 years ago and they used to last like new for years with minimal pilling - now they are good for 6 months-ish or through a season but I still love the new fit and the phone pocket so I pony up.
This review is out of frustration for their customer service process in general. I placed an order 3 weeks ago and never received it. UPS shows the package was damaged and went missing and that the sender would be contacted. Their hours are weird because Australia- I’m in the US so i get it - so I reached out during off hours and left a message. The person responded to me about the missing package within the two days they said they would but instead of offering to send my items she told me to contact the chat again. So I was finally able to contact the chat during their on hours and I get a message stating that they are busy and I need to leave another message. No phone number to call. Nothing. Just at the mercy of their schedule and I’m not really sure I’ll ever get to actually “Live Chat” with someone. It’s now been 3 weeks since my order and payment has already been made and I have no leggings. I left multiple messages today hopefully someone will get back to me. Im about to file a dispute with my credit card company except I waited half a year for their Amy sale to stock up and now it’s done and I have to pay full price. I just want my leggings and I’m hoping that by the time I can actually get a response they are still in stock.
Update - Someone got back to me and OF COURSE my leggings are now sold out and the color will not be reordered. So no leggings for me. Incredibly frustrating. I don’t know whether to be more mad at UPS or LJ. They are refunding me.

Wanted to buy a bra and pay cash . Didn’t happen as they don’t accept cash . Well that’s fine , but I won’t return . Keep lose your customers

Ankle biter leggings bought as a gift were much too short. I am currently unable to return them due to an IT glitch on Lorna Jane's website and they refuse to refund the postage. Terrible customer service, product not as described; would not recommend.

$100 on a pair of flashdance pants. The buttons don't fit in the button holes. Not just tight, they simply will not go through, all 4 buttons. Called a store, apparently they are all like this. Why would you sell such a sub standard, faulty product knowingly. Something for ACCC perhaps.

I went Xmas shopping to buy my girls some clothes. It came to about $600 and I wasn’t allowed to pay cash so I walked out and brought it somewhere else. It’s still legal tender in Australia. Lost us as customers now.

I have been into one of your stores now on two occasions and both times I couldn’t purchase anything due to your store at Tea Tree Plaza and Glenelg not accepting cash which is apparently your new policy. Because you do not accept cash I will no longer be a customer of Lorna Jane .

Hello, I am not usually a person who has complaints to this extremity. However, I am utterly disappointed in my Lotus leggings. I have only worn them a few times and today they ripped before I could even put them on. The thigh is now ripped and I no longer can wear them. The material is seriously terrible. After only a few washes the material has started to pill up and now there are balls of lint which is so hard to remove. After all I won’t ever buy from Lorna again!
