I am 81 years young

I am 81 years young, Resently I suffered a severe stress related condition.
I went to Erica at her lotus clinic, it is warm, welcoming and very calming.
Erica is a professional, generous with her time and advice .Erica's philosophy is to treat the whole person, so each time starts with a review of the patients mood, life stile and general wellbeing.
After 2 months I am not as I should be, but it's with in a short time that I will be free from any discomfort. Thanks to Erica.

Dr Clozza

Apparently the dentist works without insurance and the practice will not advise otherwise therefore his shoddy work has no remedial impact. A GDC registered dentist must have adequate insurance in place yet it cannot be accessed. Be advised this particular dentist has had several failed practices.

I should of added he was also under administrators whilst he was Director of Harley Street Smile.

I have tried to get a partial refund for the additional cost I have suffered but his current practice will not divulge his insurers. Or In other words why are Dentists insured.

refer to your earlier e-mail regarding the above individual, which was received via the main FRP Advisory website and forwarded for my attention.

Please note that our involvement in the Administration of the company Harley Street Smile Limited has now ended and regretfully there were insufficient funds realised from the company’s estate to pay any of the former patients the monies that they were owed (or compensation for poorly executed treatment).

You will probably appreciate that we received a number of similar claims from patients and we did look into whether the company’s insurance would cover such claims. Unfortunately, the company only held a practice/entity ‘contingency’ medical malpractice and professional indemnity policies which only provides the company with protection from claims and not compensation to the patient/s. Whilst this policy has long been cancelled, we would expect the individual dental practitioners/surgeons to still have their own cover in place, as its very much in their own personal interests to ensure this cover continues. It remains unclear who arranged the practitioner/surgeon cover, and of course they each may have made their own arrangements (often via their professional body memberships or similar), so tracing these covers may not be straightforward and likely to require the cooperation of the dental practitioners/surgeons themselves.

Unfortunately, we had little to no contact with any of the company’s dentists after the date of Administration and we do not know their present whereabouts or situation to pass on any correspondence. Under the circumstances, I can only suggest that you try to contact Dr Clozza’s professional body to try to ascertain whether they helped arrange any personal insurance cover for him that you may be able to claim against.

I appreciate that this is not the answer that you were hoping to receive and regret that we cannot provide you with any further assistance.

Kind regards,

Do n ot use this dentist
