Ordered a MIVV GP exhaust and the db eater broke off after only a few rides. I contacted Louis but they said I had to buy a new one. So something literally breaks off and you don't get any refund or free replacement part? The supplier off MIVV exhausts (MAS motorad) didn't even bother to response to my mails. I had to order the replacement from Louis but now they also don;t respond to my emails.

Customer service was quick to reply my queries via email and parcel was delivered faster than the estimated delivery time with tracking! Ordered a Scorpion Exo Combat and loved it. Was apprehensive about ordering helmets from online, but Louis Moto proved my worries wrong. There are some poor reviews on the net but I think those are isolated cases. Would order from Louis Moto again when the chance arise!

False advertising
They are advertising fast delivery for something they don't have. Customer center doesn't read e-mails good. Every reply is the same.
After complaint, they sent a helmet in non-original box, with different helmet bag (I've ordered two same).
Still advertising the same helmet they don't have and now it's even more expensive.

Parcel lost by postal service, Louis started an investigation.
I asked for a refund so i could buy the same boots elswhere. But they held my money back for 3 weeks (i was never informed by the customer service, that it will take such a long time) until "the investigation" is now finally completed. I was forced to borrow money in order to by the same product elswhere.
Got to know from the EU customer rights assistent, that they are obligated to refund as "fast as possible" after a lost parcel.
When i asked Louis, if they consider 3 weeks to be fast, there was no interest in answering that. They stated, that they only need to hear from me, if i want a refund or a second try of sending me the same parcel now.
Terrible and rude customer service - stay away!
Their rating of 4.8 stars on their homepage is a joke. Look at the trustpilot reviews!
Great service when ordering from UK.
I ordered a TomTom Vio from them as they were much cheaper than in the UK. Arrived to the UK in a few days and was painless. Very good and free delivery.
Later I decided to buy a few more bits. One of which was a catalyst insert for an Akrapovic performance pipe. Unknown to me and to Louis.de, the akrapovic product information is awful and it wasn't clear that for a particular bike and the particular range of akrapovic exhausts, the catalyst would only fit certain permutations. So, I only found out after it arrived that I couldn't fit the catalyst. I thought this would be a right mess to sort out, but Louis customer service were brilliant. They processed the return anyway, and gave me a free return delivery label.
Emails back and forth were very clear and nicely personal. Compared with a few UK bike parts warehouses which I've found rude and uncaring (especially the big one in South Wales), dealing with Detlev Louis has been a pleasure.

No respect for a long-term client. I bought a motorcycle battery with them, 2 years warranty. The battery has gone bad after 16 months. I turned to the customer service problem. I do not have a purchase invoice because it should normally be automatically saved in the purchase history on my Louis account. But it has not been saved in some way. So I sent them an excerpt from my bank account confirmation of card payment and the amount matches the battery and shipping costs. But they do not recognize it and can not say what I bought online. So that's how I close my cooperation with this store that does not respect the client and his money. I do not greet Louis motorrad.de.

Bought a crash helmet from them. The price was good, ordered on Friday, got it on Wednesday in the UK. Everything seems fine, no damages, all contents present in the box. Can't say how they are in after-sale service but I guess it's always a bit of a gamble when you buy overseas. So far, so good.

I bought an item from them (a crash helmet) that was advertised as a "special". It turned out that the only thing that was special about this deal was that an important part (neck wind deflector) was missing. This wind deflector is normally a standard part of the helmet when sold elsewhere. It turned out that In the small print of the descripion was a checkliist and this part was not ticked. Interestingly, the missing item is being sold separately by the company - resulting in a substantial addition to the overall cost of the helmet. Returning the helmet for a refund would be too much hassle so I have purchased the missing part from another supplier (I won't pay any more money to Louis Motorrad). Lesson learned - I will NEVER do business with them again.
