I paid for a lifetime license and today when I tried to log in I found out that the lifetime licenses were cancelled. I contacted support and they tell me that I have to pay again, this is a scam.

Lifetime licence revoked without any warning
My lifetime Cerberus license got revoked (~8 years) with 0 day notice. So, is this how they thank the early supporters?

Does not honor subscription contract
Does not honor subscription contract. Lifetime means lifetime and not the time until you think it is more profitable to break our contract and take the heat. And NO, I won't take a refund should you offer it. The actualized value of a lifetime subscription is a lot higher than the price I paid 7 years ago.
Would give 0 stars for this shady…
Would give 0 stars for this shady business. They are currently invalidating all paid lifetime licenses to their Cerberus App product after saying they would honor all paid licenses. They also are doing this with no notice and with immediate effect.
Had Cerberus on a lifetime subscription…
Had Cerberus on a lifetime subscription payment. Software was ok but recently my lifetime subscription was cancelled without consultation or refund - not acceptable or legal. Contacted Support - no response and all lifetime subscribers (who in essence funded the start of this business) are now dropped. Not good business and not legal - check out the google group for more detail

STAY AWAY
Dishonest, Thieving, False Advertising... AVOID
If I could give 0 stars... I would, unfortunately I can't give them 0.
As every other reviewer mentions... I purchased a "Lifetime" license and this crappy company decided to revoke the "lifetime license" because they're dishonest, shady and thieves.
A good, fair, honest company would have done either:
- Refund all of their lifetime members
- Create a "Legacy" membership where all legacy lifetime memberships continue to get their lifetime membership but simply change it so all future licenses are yearly.
DO NOT RENEW YOUR LICENSES, SCREW THIS "COMPANY"!
To all other users looking for a FREE alternative, use Google's "Find My Device" which is not only free but it's way more integrated, safer and more secure than Cerberus.
Alternatively (may not be free) checkout:
Prey
Kaspersky Antivirus
Lookout Mobile Security
AndroidLost
WheresMyDroid
Pocket Geek
Or just google "Find my Phone" and look for similar apps! :)
Very bad PR and marketing practices
They used to sell "lifetime licence" when starting up their business and now they're literally taking that back from their customers.
Way to go thief.
Cerberus Anti-Theft - LS Droid
Like many other people around the world, I too purchased lifetime licences for their Cerberus Android app. A few years ago when they changed their business model to a paid subscription, they emailed existing lifetime customers and advised that any new licence would be on an annual subscription basis, all existing licences would be be honoured at no additional charge.
Two day ago I received an email from them advising that my licences (6) had expired and that to continue using the product it will cost €46.00 per year.
They have removed themselves from the Google Play Store and now only provide a direct payment and download from their website.
They refuse to answer any questions sent via email.
I will not be held to ransom when I have a perpetual licence already.
Do not give this unscrupulous business and of your hard earned as they change the rules to suit themselves.
Scammers!
Bought a lifetime licence. 8 years later, the licence is suddenly revoked.
The worst EVER!
I bought the "Cerberus App Anti-Theft" by LsDroid through the Google Play Store.
The Cerberus App is from the Company LSDroid located in Milano Italy.
I bought a lifetime full version in 2014, and I really didn't tried it that much. Here in 2015 I tried the different features on my devices... I shouldn't have done that!! Suddenly I got my account features blocked, and the reasons for that were simply the most insulting I have ever read. I got a message that the account features were blocked because I had used the app for spying, harassing, stalking... et cetera. It was an "automatic generated message" because I used the app features too much. So I tested the features on my own devices that only I have access to... Is that being a spy? Obviously yes! Or is it about the use of bandwidth (most probably yes, although it was paid for).
However, this was only the beginning. Browsing the web, I found numerous of similar stories, and when I posted my opinion/question on their support forum, I was blocked from there. I wrote another one, and got blocked from there too. Another person I mailed I corresponded with, was blocked simply because he asked about the rules. The LSDroid Company by Luca Sagaria, does not accept critics and to avoid it, they just ban and block their customers or replying with a very rude answer. I was not offered my money back, but when asking of my money back he gave me a refund. However, no apologize for the very bad customer treatment. If you don't believe me, then please search for “Cerberus app account features blocked", please.
I know some people have contacted Google asking them to remove this app from their Play Store. So far, it hasn't happened, and maybe it won't happen, because there are a lot of money in this app, but if Google has a little dignity they will ban this Company from their store. If you buy this app, don't count on the fact that you can use it if your phone is stolen - It might be blocked while you're using it - or testing it. Shame on LSDroid!
