What was once basic hotel courtesy has now been monetized. Disgusting business model.
I don't appreciate that I have to start the timer for my bags being dropped off and the location of where I am placing my bags is obscure. Even worse, I was charged three times for the same booking and each time I tried to explain and ask for a refund they did not attempt to make it right. I was continually addressed by my email, not by my name, showing they didn't properly read my correspondence or research my booking.
If you sign up to use their service at an hourly rate, store your bags for a couple of hours, pick up your luggage, and fail to go on the app to stop the timer on the hourly charges, they will keep charging you all day long! A two-hour charge turns into a 12-hour charge. Their agent, of course, does not tell you about this when you pick up your bags. You only find out about it many hours later when they send you a message --after the storage location has closed and they have charged you as much as they possibly can. This is an absurd and dishonest system.
They charged me £10 for 1 backpack and 2 hour storage. Honestly, there are a few other companies doing the same job for a better price
Avoid this service. Would give 0 stars if I could. I'd booked, changed my mind, and decided to try to cancel the booking (no real option to do so easily, which is a red flag for any platform like this).
I'd been expecting to pay $4ish per hour to store my suitcases for 2hrs, so a total of maybe $16. I was lumped with nearly a $30 charge for a "no show". The amount is not substantial and it doesn't really matter to me, but it's embarrassing to have been caught unawares by what is very clearly an unscrupulous operator. I've asked for a refund for this charge, but I expect little better than I've seen from them so far.
The 'storage options' this service has access to are the backrooms and offices of convenience stores. You're paying for something most pubs and hotels will do for free.
Frankly, avoid - this is a scammy business model to begin with, asking for $ to store your bags in a convenience store, but is completely unreliable. I would recommend this service under no circumstances. If you're absolutely desperate to have your luggage stored in Perth for a couple of hours, I'll mind your bag for free if it means not giving more $ to this business.
UPDATE to ADD: this entirely superfluous charge was eventually refunded, which is better than nothing. Getting refunded for not using a product which would've been a waste of money to use is better than the alternative, I guess - but don't fall for it. This is a business model designed to take advantage of its customers. My experience has been resolved - yours might not be.

Went round and round on the app repeatedly, trying to find a way to confirm a payment method so I could confirm the booking.
Impossible, infuriating, thoroughly pissed off.
Went to another supplier - would not use this company again, even if I could find a way to make it work.
Update: I will add that after my complaint, the company did refund my insurance of £7, so that is appreciated.
As a first time user there were no instructions on how to use the app, particularly that I could remove insurance. It was all new to me so I dropped off 3 bags for 4 hours and got charged an extortionate £31!!! I just don’t see why they couldn’t have made it more clear. Identification of a new user to the app should be possible the moment they register, so why not send them an automated mail with clear information? I feel that £31 for 4 hours is extremely excessive. I will be doing my research more thoroughly next time I use a luggage storage company, but I’m afraid it will not be with Luggage Hero.
Additionally, I was given zero indication throughout the duration of what my ultimate charges would be, so I walked in blind to collect my luggage and a whopping bill for £31 is what I was faced with! Two small cabin cases and a rucksack. I’m very unhappy about what I feel this company could be doing to be more transparent with customers.

Charged me even though booking was canceled due to location being much further than initially indicated. Help line have failed to respond. Do not use!

Unfortunately I have to leave a one-star review as I had a terrible experience in Barcelona, specifically in the location at Coaliment, 52 Via Laietana, 08003, Barcelona.
Jewellery and expensive perfume from my bag was stolen. The workers in the location did not seem to care at all and were super unhelpful. They had left my bags in a storgage room with the door unlocked and open. Had I known this when I dropped my bags off I would have cancelled the booking. They showed me CCTV of someone entering the room and stealing the items from my bag.
I reported the incident to Luggagehero and have heard nothing since (3 weeks ago now). They didn't even refund me the cost of the booking which is appalling. They will also not let me leave a review of the specific loaction on their website which means I cannot warn people regarding what happened to me and share my experience.
I am so disappointed and would not use this service again especially seeing how this company have handled it. I understand there is risk leaving bags but I never received a refund, an apology and I cant share my experience via review. Awful!

They work, but I have not enjoyed my experience.
Was very expensive even for a few hours. They add 4.5eur as a “service charge” ontop of the actual hours which ended being over 11eur even with 2h “free” voucher I got. Was not cheap. Bags are stored in just a random section at the back of a souvenir shop.
And since the day I used them I have basically gotten emails about their shit and advertisements every day for two weeks now. They don’t have an unsubscribe button either.
Their email is getting blocked and I’m not using again!

This is a complete scam, would not say location prior to paying, once I paid it was like 2 hours away, $5 charge to cancel. No answer to the chatbot, no way to get in touch. DO NOT USE!!!

I booked online, and no problem with automating this process but adding a service charge AND an insurance charge made the price I was charged double what they said my estimate would be.
Disappointing. Then, they said they didn't have a card machine so I would have to use the atm which would have cost more. A stressy end to a holiday and no need for sneaky extra fees.

Tried Bologna twice and ran into problems both times. Payments were reimbursed, so the only thing lost was my time and nerves.
Overall: reliable in Melbourne, inconsistent in Bologna. Quick refunds appreciated, but service needs more consistency across cities.

I would never use this company again. I was quoted a price of £22 based on their app prices, my bags were only there for 4 hours, even at the full day price of £4.90 for nine bags this would be £45.00, I was horrified and disgusted to be charged £104 when I collected my bags. I complained to the shop but was told it was nothing to do with them. I did eventually get a £21.00 refund, but still a ridiculous price. I would never have gone with them if I knew this cost upfront or that they would have full access to take anything they want from my bank account. They aren’t upfront with the charges, the prices in the app aren’t accurate and they pre authorise your card so they can effectively charge you any amount. I’ve had to cancel my card as I don’t trust them one bit.
I’d tell anyone to stay well away from this company.

Dropnfly at Pasay has been very helpful. We had to check out of our hotel at 11am but our flight was later in the evening. After we had to leave the hotel, Dropnfly was very accommodating to store our luggage till our flight. Surprisingly, they also have a van to bring us to the airport later that evening. It was wonderful!!

Affordable and convenient way to store luggage for a period of time. Personally used them when travelling to Sydney and we couldn’t check into our Airbnb until later in the day. We dropped off our bags at a local convenience store and the staff there was very knowledgeable, friendly and I had no concerns about the safety of our belongings.
Would definitely use them again in the future

Booking was easy. Deposit site was easy to find. Site owner was trustworthy. Customer service, for refund, because of incorrect charge, was prompt.

Easy to book, clear instructions and directions to the location of the bag drop off point. It is timed by the hour so we went 10 mins over the hour point and paid for the full hour, so keep that in mind when you are factoring in cost.

This was a great experience! The gentleman that took care of us was welcoming and helpful. We had several pieces of luggage that were very large and it was not a problem at all. We also felt like our luggage was stored very securely and it gave us a sense of confidence. I would highly recommend this place!
