I never thought I would find a company that I would be able to publish for personal use until I decide to put my book for sale, awesome service, simple and easy to use. Highly recommend! Very very very happy and satisfied. Words cannot express how much gratitude I have for this publishing company. High quality printing, delivery service is great!

when setting up my book for publishing a hard copy (print book) you do not offer a template for a back of book blurb - also no place to put a self pic of the author - need to set it up more like Amazon's self publishing - expand your templates please

I never authorized the distribution of one of my projects on Amazon. Instead, they removed it from my Lulu account — it was no longer visible to me, nor could I manage it — and put it up for sale on Amazon without notifying me, despite my express wish not to sell it there. On top of that, they listed it with a cover I never approved.
I only found out because the book was already on sale. I reported it immediately. At that point they restored the project to my account, and I withdrew it from distribution entirely.
Here's the real problem: support keeps telling me the book is no longer available — but it isn't gone. The book is still being bought (I have evidence of actual purchases) and it's still purchasable as a new copy. For print-on-demand this is impossible: there is no stock to deplete, since every copy is printed only when someone orders it.
No one has ever explained how a project I never authorized was distributed and sold under my name with a cover I never uploaded. They reply with canned messages, close tickets without resolving anything, and never provide written confirmation. I would not recommend them to anyone who cares about keeping control of their own work.

I like that thorough resources are provided, but I am totally in control. The only issues I have ever had is that some of my books have not been given global coverage because of silly little things. However, this is a minor, minor issue. The service is great. I love it.

First, as a Canadian, I was concerned about crossing borders and sought out a good Canadian authored website. Unimpressed.
Then I looked at Lulu based on the fact that you have grown to the extent that you can utilize printers around the world.
Your website is well-written and (so far) not infested with overdone marketing A.I. It was very helpful for a newbie like myself to create a book quickly with minimal effort at the publishing end.
Finally, I was gobsmacked at the speed with which the order arrived, conforming to my own business ethic of under-promising and over-delivering.

I love the books, they are great! But expansive, especially the hard cover.

Lulu's online platform is easy to use, the pricing is reasonable, the turn-around time is impressive, and the quality is excellent. I've used Lulu for several books now and have become a loyal customer. I highly recommend Lulu!

I have been buying from and publishing with Lulu as my one of my valued printing partners since 2006 and their service and quality is amazing, which is why I never left. Tons of options for printing, great customer service. I am currently working with them for hardcover editions and spiral bound workbooks and journals. They have been an amazing company to work with.

I published 12 books with Lulu, they force you to buy a copy before they will publish it and when it goes 'live' the printing costs make the book unviable or competitive. Your commission is what gets reduced if you hope to sell a book and then when you do earn it, it's months before you see any payment. I closed my account with commission still owing. No response to my emails, absolute rip off, the only people making money is Lulu off the back of your creativity. I now sell on Amazon, much better than these clowns.

I love using Lulu to publish my work. The process is always straightforward, well documented, easy, versatile, and so affordable. Profits on sales are pretty good for in-house purchases (global retail is a different story but that's not Lulu's fault!), too. I trust Lulu, as they've always done right by me; even when I had a problem with my first project that was mostly my fault, they rushed in to help without any hesitation. Books I buy from Lulu are top notch printing quality, and the one time there was a defect they replaced it without hassle, instantly. I'm a Lulu fangirl for life at this point.

Very easy to put your book on the site. The picture books I have made have, the pictures come out brilliantly.
Very fast turn around time and print quality is very high. Thanks!
