First class service and fabulous staff
Had to change order TWICE and Holly could not have been more helpful. Her attitude and help were exemplary which reduced my stress levels enormously. I can't thank her enough.
As a bonus the 2 gents in the warehouse were also great and very efficient.
In short, if you want to buy an extractor at a cpmpetitve price and would like good service, buy from Luxair.

Product: vent hood, luxair ch90 delux SS.
Motor on hood packed up, phoned for replacement motor under warranty terms of 5 years on parts to be told that Luxair wouldn’t do anything about their product failure due to not registering the warranty. I wasn’t informed at the time of installation about product registration, whilst I accept my failure to register the product, this, in the end is only a formality, which as a so-called luxury brand one would have considered they may consider overlooking. They’ve got the loophole and they’ve used it! It’s a lesson learned, with such a poor customer response and care, I won’t be reordering one of their products in the future.

While we understand this may be disappointing, registration is a simple requirement to activate the warranty and ensure all customers are protected, as is the case with a majority of extended warranties from manufacturers.

Through my own foolishness 😳
Through my own foolishness, I had caused the filter panels of my cooker hood to become badly discoloured. Very disappointing, after keeping them near pristine for many years. A very helpful phone call with a very pleasant lady at Luxair resulted in the purchase of two replacements in very quick time. I had to pay for my stupidity of course, but, I no longer have a daily reminder of it! Thank you Luxair. Your kind and helpful response to my self made dilemma is much appreciated.

Excellent customer service
I can only praise the customer service. I had initially contacted them because I needed replacement filters but was then told my cooker hood is so old the filters don't exist anymore, so I ended up ordering a new hood. The customer rep looked at the photos and measurements I emailed them, helped me identify the newer model (incl. the filters that go with it) and sent me direct links to it. They then very helpfully raised the order for me and also booked the installation service. It made everything much easier for me.

Very Prompt Service
I had a cooker hood installed in 2010 and although I changed the filters several times, I left it for more years that was sensible. When I tried to get replaqcements off the web they were "no longer available" and I lost interest, On Boxing Day I suddenly thought to contact Luxair, the hood maunfactureres, direct. To my surprise I had a very friendly reply within a few days, and as soon as I sent them the information requested, they sent me a link to a suitable filter. To get such excellent service over a very busy holiday period is worthy of 5 stars in my opinion.

My new cooker hood grease filter was delivered damaged in transit. I contacted them. There customer service person was excellent and a replacement was shipped straight away. Excellent service all round.

Excellent customer service and repair!
I brought and had a luxair ceiling fan installed approx. 4 years ago. One side dropped and wasn't fitting flush. The person who fitted it wasnt contactable. I emailed luxair and they were amazing. The engineer Jim came and visited me today and he was amazing to say the least..he had a look took some of the fan apart and immediately knew what to do. He fixed my fan in a matter of minutes and also checked and tightened some other bits..I just wanted to say thank you..considering they are based in rippon. I am truly amazed by the customer service which is excellent via phone and email and the engineer Jim was brilliant he was so knowledgeable and I felt so reassured due to the way he worked and he fixed the issue so quick I was amazed..thanks again luxair and especially Jim for being amazing.

It's 11 years old and needed new lights and a grease filter. (To be honest, the lights still worked but looked a bit tired ). Erin at customer services was a superstar and was able to locate the last two lights for us and dispatch our order very quickly.

CHARLATANS SELLING SUBSTANDARD PRODUCTS
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!! BUNCH OF CHARLATANS!!!! SELLING OVER PRICED APPLIANCES THAT ARE NOT FIT FOR THE PURPOSE INTENDED. Poor quality products with inferior components being marketed and priced as high quality. Purchased one of their allegeded quality extractor hoods for my brand new kitchen. Didn't even last two years before is started to badly vibrate. I contacted them with a warranty enquiry. Many emails later back and forth, video sent and several hoops jumped through they informed me once they discovered the motor was faulty that it was out of warranty. The unit has been installed by a professional as per the installation manual with 125mm ducting. You'd think this would be the first thing they looked into before replying to my initial email. Replacement motor was quoted at £200 plus £100 installation. Might as well just by a new unit. BUT NOT FROM THIS COMPANY!!! THEY WILL USE EVERY TRICK IN THE BOOK TO GET OUT OF ANY KIND OF WARRANTY CLAIM. INCORRECT INSTALLATION SEEMS TO BE THEIR FAVOURITE GET OUT CLAUSE. I'LL BE PURCHASING A QUALITY PRODUCT FROM A COMPANY THAT OFFERS DECENT LEVELS OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PRODUCTS THAT ARE RELIABLE AND FIT FOR PURPOSE!!!! I have zero doubts they'll reply with some sort of evasive response. Probably something along the lines of "we can't find your order" or some other dross about incorrect installation.

We’re really sorry to read about the vibration issue with your extractor hood and the frustration this has caused. We absolutely stand by our products and take situations like this seriously.
To clarify what’s already happened: we’ve been in contact via numerous emails with your partner. Although the unit is now outside its standard warranty period and the extended warranty was not registered, we offered as a goodwill gesture a free of charge repair together with an extended warranty on the replacement part. We also proposed sending an engineer to inspect the appliance. If the engineer confirms a manufacturing fault (and not an installation or site issue), we will cover the repair. since this offer we have heard nothing. We feel this is a fair and reasonable offer should you wish to accept.
We can’t guarantee that all products will be entirely free from faults over time, no matter the quality electrical items can sometimes develop faults, but we will always work to diagnose issues promptly and put them right when they stem from manufacturing. Since making the above offer 3 days ago , we haven’t yet received a reply to arrange the visit, and we’re keen to resolve this for you as soon as possible.
Please reply to our last email and we’ll schedule the engineer.

Very good communications before and after order of hood, not fit yet so will post when we have, but delivery great, driver was excellent thank you! Even gave us a tip about cleaning. Anyway we would recommend/order again. Nice to be able to order from a smaller UK firm rather than the big guys.
