I ordered a pair of size 8 boots on…

I ordered a pair of size 8 boots on Lyst for $303 and was excited to finally get them at a decent price. But instead of shipping, my order was cancelled without explanation, other than technical. When I went back to reorder, the exact same boots were suddenly listed for $550.

This feels like a scam—bait-and-switch tactics at their worst. There was no attempt to honor the original price, no customer service follow-up, nothing. I expected better transparency and consistency from a platform like Lyst. Extremely disappointed and won’t be shopping here again.

Great shopping experience

Ordering via LYST was really easy. When the retailer changed the price after my order was placed, LYST customer service worked with me to get the difference.
They were very courteous, thorough and quick.
Thanks for the great shopping experience and I definitely recommend LYST and will be back.

My One and Only Time Shopping With Lyst

Actually, my experience with Lyst wasn't great, but Kyla was very helpful and the 5 star rating is for her, not Lyst. My shopping experience was disappointing, because evidently you don't check prices before you list them on your site. Kyla, on the other hand was very nice and helpful. You are lucky to have her.

I had challenges regarding my order being processed. Luis, explained the partnership and retail model and assisted with a price adjustment. Excellent communication and excellent customer service. Luis sets the pace for anyone working in the customer service industry.

I always feel confident purchasing via Lyst

Lyst always advertise the best price for the items I am interested in. I have found it easy to access the website of the company selling the item. So far, I have not experienced any issues with any of the companies I have ordered from, via Lyst’s website. I feel confident ordering from companies I may not have dealt with before, when going through Lyst.

Good place to search for merchandise

Good place to search for merchandise that is no longer listed/available on a particular vendor's website. For example, I have found shoes and clothing that I wanted to purchase that is no longer on the vendor's clothing website. Lyst does a search for me! Also Lyst remembers items you are searching for and sends periodic updates to your email

Disappointed and Won’t Be Returning

I purchased a pair of Balenciaga shoes through Lyst expecting a seamless experience similar to platforms like Rue La La or Gilt where once you buy the item is yours. Instead, I received a confirmation email saying the order was “awaiting approval” by the seller. That was the first red flag.

Shortly after, I got a follow-up email saying there were “technical difficulties” and that I should contact customer service. When I did, I was told the seller had rejected my order because the price had changed between Lyst and the seller’s site. That completely defeats the purpose of using Lyst. Why shop through an aggregator that cannot honor the price or guarantee the order?

This was a complete waste of my time and yes, disappointing. I could have gone directly to the seller or found the shoes elsewhere without the false promise of a confirmed purchase. Will I use Lyst again? Absolutely not.
