Rocmed - Made in China

We purchased some medical equipment in mid to late 2025 from Rocmed, on the Made in China platform.
The experience started off well, initially they were very helpful and seemed to meet what we were looking for, so we placed an order with them.
There were a few communication hiccups and the cheap freight charges that we thought we were getting from China to us, ended up being close to the same value as the equipment being purchased, from extremely inflated on costs upon arrival, lesson learnt with that one.
However, the biggest disappointments were yet to come. The quality of the equipment that eventually arrived was, for medical equipment, well below the average quality we envisaged, bordering on extremely poor.
As our intention with the equipment purchase was to create an affordable range of products for our local marketplace, we set about testing the equipment to find that supplied batteries didn't work and wouldn't charge. When we finally got the unit working with some other batteries, the equipment failed whilst lifting loads during testing, failing at only half of units touted capacity.
The failure was a catastrophic one, not only did welds break, but the stainless-steel material ripped apart from being too thin for the load to handle.
Rocmed, when advised of the failure immediately took the posture that the failure was somehow our fault, despite us being a manufacturer of similar high end equipment and sending photo's to them with a detailed account of the issues. With all confidence we had now gone after the failure of the product, we asked for a refund from Rocmed. Despite several emails and WhatsApp messages sent, there have been no further replies from them, let alone any signs of receiving a refund. As a result, I would never deal with Rocmed again and I would also be quite hesitant in using the Made in China platform for any further sourcing. Clearly the solution when things go wrong, is just to ignore the problem and it will go away.

As Rocmed is a supplier on Made-in-China.com, we take such feedback seriously. However, we’re currently unable to locate your order based on this review alone.

To help us properly look into this case and coordinate a resolution between you and the supplier, we kindly invite you to submit an online complaint on our platform with your order details and relevant evidence (such as photos or videos). https://sourcing.made-in-china.com/new/complaint/page/index.html

Everything was done

Hello. I bought one item for 1800 dollars. Everything was done almost flawlessly, on time, and in accordance with the agreement. I don't have any feedback on the item's quality yet. I almost didn't use it. I'm waiting for summer.

Hi Antoine AHIMAIN,

Thank you for your comment, and we’re sorry for any inconvenience caused.

We have verified the order status and logistics records. The order has been completed, and the supplier shipped the goods to the designated domestic freight forwarder address in China according to the buyer’s instructions.

Since the international shipment was handled by the freight forwarder arranged by the buyer, we kindly suggest contacting the freight forwarder directly for further delivery updates.

We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to improve the overall transaction and logistics experience on our platform.

Unexpected additional charges

Unexpected extra costs not communicated upfront
We ordered custom magnets, but the first production had clear mistakes and looked very different from the approved design. A reprint was needed, which took an unusually long time. In the end, we were forced to pay additional shipping costs due to these delays, even though the errors were not on our side. Overall, a very frustrating experience.

Hi henri timmerman,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand how frustrating unexpected charges and delays can be.

After reviewing the communication records related to this order, we noticed that the additional costs mentioned appear to be customs clearance fees. At this stage, we have not identified specific information regarding production errors. If there are quality issues or additional charges, we encourage you to contact us and we will assist both parties in reaching a fair solution.

Made-in-China presents itself as a B2B…

Made-in-China presents itself as a B2B marketplace built on transparency, but our experience suggests otherwise. After leaving a detailed, factual review about a seller we worked with, that review was quietly removed.
This raises serious concerns about how this platform handles negative feedback. Instead of protecting buyers, Made-in-China appears to shield problematic sellers by erasing criticism when it becomes inconvenient.
A review system that only allows positive experiences to remain visible is not a review system at all — it’s marketing. Buyers should be aware that the feedback shown here may be curated and does not necessarily reflect real, unresolved disputes.
If honest reviews can be removed after seller pressure, then the platform cannot be trusted as a neutral intermediary.

Scammers supplier's !!

Made in China do nothing about the scammers on their site, and they don't account any responsibility what so ever. They deny it even happened. The seller's use more than one contact number, then deny any contact. Not happy at all, very disappointed, shocked how quickly they dismissed my complaint. They didn't want to know, at all, even with evidence. Will never visit the site again, unprofessional !!!

Dear Fail,
We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and understand your concerns. Please allow us to clarify the status of this case based on our investigation.

According to the supplier, the original order included one pallet of solar panels together with inverters, and the goods were prepared while waiting for the balance payment. Later, you informed the supplier that you no longer wished to purchase the solar panels. The supplier explained that the original inverter price was offered as a factory price based on the bundled order with the solar panels, and if the solar panels were removed from the order, the inverter price could not remain the same.

We have confirmed that you have already submitted a Trade Dispute Complaint on Made-in-China.com. Our trade dispute handling team has requested relevant communication and transaction evidence to further verify the situation; however, we have not yet received a response or supporting documents from your side.

To help us move this case forward as quickly and fairly as possible, we kindly ask you to submit the related communication records and evidence through the following path in your Made-in-China.com account:

Sign in → Account → Virtual Office → Trade Service → Trade Dispute Complaint → My Complaint List → View
