Shop here regularly

I have a lot of Made.com items and really like the style. Returns are expensive though which makes me think twice about purchasing. Almost a month ago I contacted customer support via WhatsApp and never got a reply. So, good shop but improvements to customer service needed

Great purchase

Website easy to navigate and ordered items without any problems. Items arrived very promptly. Loved the linen duvet cover and pillowcases. Will be ordering another set shortly. Would recommend.

Stylish products and great service

Quality, elegance, modern comfort

Having recently moved house I was looking for modern, fresh, sophisticated furniture that not only offered comfort and quality but also bold colours and ageless design. I have bought almost all my new furniture from MADE and have been delighted with it all including lights and lampshades. The customer service has been exemplary with delivery on time and keeping me up to date with timing/ dates.

Poor customer support

Very unreliable and unclear customer support.

I ordered a lamp which came in three separate packages. It was said that they will be delivered all at once. Unfortunately, box no.1 was delivered on the 25th of August, box no.3 on the 2nd of September and box no.2 just disappeared and wasn't delivered at all which led me to receiving a lamp with an important part missing.

At first, I was told that once I confirmed which box is missing, I can just e-mail MADE.com with the details and get the parcel shipped, quote "if when you get them to Lithuania you could let us know what box you are missing out of 3 ( boxes would have numbers on them) and we could send just the missing box. ( per current lead time )"

And that's what I did. But then I got this answer: "Sadly I have to inform you that it is out of stock and we do not have any stock left to reorder it for you." and I was asked to return the boxes for a refund.

Now I'm dealing with the third person from their customer support explaining that I can't return any of the packages and I just need to get the missing parts. So far – no luck.

Great Customer Service

Bought a Colter Pedal Bin earlier this month. Waited a few days for the delivery, and we found that it's a faulty product. Contacted customer service to arrange a replacement bin. The arrangements for delivering replacement bin and collecting the faulty bin were good and instructions were easy to follow.

Distribute poor quality products. Do not expect them to last.

Ordered a Sensé Can Touch-Free Sensor Bin from Made.com. The sensor lasted only a few months but as it failed within the warranty period it was replaced. Second one failed just out of warranty so another replacement was refused. Without a working sensor the bin is useless. Legally probably correct but goodwill clearly lacking. Buy products from Made.com by all means but do not expect them to last.

Please note the reply from Made.com below apologising and offering me the 'opportunity to turn your shopping experience around'. But when I contacted 'one of their helpful (sic) Customer Service agents' I was informed that this is just an automated message reacting to the product review score and she merely restated their refusal to replace the faulty goods.

Negative reviewers of Made.com should be aware that their replies are generated by algorithm designed to improve their optics and are likely to be disingenuous. Responding to them will waste 30mns of your life.

Nightmare returns

Whilst I cannot complain about the sofa, the returns process is unacceptable.

When delivered, install team unpacked the sofa (at my request) to try and fit and couldn't. That's entirely on me yes. They told me they would notify Made.com that the delivery couldn't be completed but 24 hours later I had heard nothing. Not ideal but fine. I made initiated the process myself.

They state the item needs to be packaged and if unpacked, they need to send materials before a pick up can be arranged. Fair enough

11 days later, no packaging, no support from Made, no support from booked carrier.

When contacting support the response is:

"I am sorry to hear of this delay with your packaging.
As soon as there is an update, you will be notified by Evri.
Your packaging should be with you shortly."

At this moment both Made and myself can see that the booking by Evri is going no where.

Entirely useless.

How can the consumer be expected to return an item in perfect condition when the seller cannot expedite pick up it up for three weeks. And what is there then is damage? I'm afraid I don't like in a property where I can store a sofa in a garage but this all falls on deaf ears.

Made now still have my money and I suppose it is all they care about. In the event the sofa is damaged they can claim it can't be refunded for full value and they make a nice little earner out of the experience.

Will 100% follow up with outcome.

25/10 Response from made to this comment asking me to get in touch with customer service. Slightly concerning as I'm already up to 8 emails sent to them in the last 13 days.

26/10 Sill no change, Made.com continue to send helpless emails like "I am sorry about this, I really am." Why can they not resend different packaging? It's a mystery.

TERRIBLE customer service!!

The customer service via the online chat is the worst I have ever come across! The person that I spoke with was not friendly whatsoever, very unhelpful and seemed to have no empathy or motivation to provide any solution to my complaint. For the price you pay for the products, this is extremely disappointing! I will not be shopping with MADE again after this.

Poor Service

I ordered a sofa bed in April and advised that it would take 12 to 14 weeks. Now October and after chasing the company for a third time I have been told eta is mid December. Order cancelled. Very frustrated.

Very smart & stylish planters

The planters I bought were a present for another member of the family and sent directly to them but I've seen them & they really are lovely and the recipient is delighted with them. They were despatched very promptly and delivered soon afterwards.

I was looking for an affordable sofa…

I was looking for an affordable sofa bed to replace a much used IKEA one and found one on Made. Hasn’t been used yet so can’t comment on the item but website was good, plenty of info to help me make a decision and they were upfront about the delivery time (a few weeks to wait as items are made to order I believe). Delivery was well organised with good communication before. And 2 delivery men were used rather than leaving one guy to manhandle it off the van and in to my house. Great service.
