Don't order items that are not ready to be dispatched

Terrible experience, again. I have ordered from them a bed in June told that it was supposed to arrive in August, then they tell me in mid July that the bed will now be shipped in October. Super disappointed I have cancelled the order and got a refund. In September I have order curtains that were supposed to be shipped the 28th of oct. The first of November I ask them where my curtains are and they say "We are not currently able to fulfil our customer orders. We hope to be able to start fulfilling orders soon". No idea if my order has been started and after how many months I will receive it. No email to inform the customer about the delay. I hope now in a refund. So upsetting.

Rude and not helpful

The customer service is pure rude and not helpful at all! I would advise you to not spend your money here as they don't value their customers.

I would give you Minus 5Stars if there was the option.

Have a nice day and learn to be helpful to your customers.

Claim a refund from your bank.

I ordered 2 sofas back in June 2022 with an 8-10 week delivery time. Sofas were supposed to be dispatched in September but this date got delayed.
I submitted a chargeback claim to my bank on 29th Oct, after hearing made.com were no longer taking orders. Very worried now that I might have lost a grand.

Update, I received a refund from the bank. I hope other people are successful in getting their money back too.

Unacceptable one use plastic in the packaging

I have bought an excellent product from them. And it arrived quickly with no problems. however, they have used appalling one-use plastic on the plug. Two sets of plastics covering the prongs.
The main one is so hard and thick to remove, I don’t know how someone with any sort of impairment would remove it BUT, apart from that this, this type of packaging is unacceptable in a world in CRISIS. Stop using one-use plastic PLEASE!

they're in administration - lost £700 - you will not receive any orders or refunds.

Made.com have gone into administration, which means we will likely not be receiving the armchair we paid £675 for in October, and they are not processing refunds or taking more orders. If you bought on a credit card, I think you can get your money back, if you bought on debit card you can try your luck but are unlikely to get it back. We are the latter, so feeling pretty gutted.

I have ordered lights for my dining room and they look amazing! The packaging was brilliant and came on time. I also ordered some cushions and they were great quality I ordered some more. Would recommend to my friends.

I will NEVER be buying from MADE again

I will NEVER be buying from MADE again. The company Evri was used to deliver my item, after only one failed attempt whilst I was at work, they sent it back to MADE. It was still in transit when I contacted MADE and asked them to resend the item. They said they couldn't because the item was out of stock. I said but the item is not even back in your warehouse, I've already paid for the item and my item which is in stock for me is in transit. The agent refused to send my item back to me and insisted that it's store policy that if the system says ''out of stuck'' even if one is in transit, it means it's out of stock and they can't send the item I bought and almost got delivered back to me, they said because when it is returned to the warehouse and checked the system says out of stock so they can't send it back. I feel like maybe herself or some employee wanted the item themselves. Cause this has never happened to me before and I miss loads of packages as I'm at work and it is always resent to me. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM MADE AGAIN. It was my first time and my last time. Poor Service and so called policies.

Dreadful

Dreadful. Ordered early July and still waiting for delivery. Email confirmation to confirm date of delivery last week; they cancelled same day. Staff unable to tell me when re delivery will be but sometime in 2023!!! Don’t waste your time. Look elsewhere.

I brought a chair, and it is of outstanding quality, as I had anticipated.

Dreadful experience

Had the most dreadful experience couple of months back. Ordered 2 floor cushions for over £450, looked good at arrival but started falling apart after only one month of usage. Contacted Made.com they didn’t do anything as the items were not classified as faulty. So disappointed. My feedback on the items never made onto their webpage …

Terrible quality products and terrible customer service.

Ordered a bed frame. It fell apart in under a year. There is no customer service number for the company, their chat helpline is permanently down, and when I sent an email I received this reply which seems to be their standard boilerplate reply for any customer complaints:

We are not currently able to accept returns or cancel orders. Our customers are incredibly important to us, and we are very sorry for any inconvenience caused. We will not currently be able to collect and replace/refund this item, but hope to be able to do so soon.
Best wishes.

Avoid using this company unless you are looking for overpriced poorly made furniture and zero responsibility or customer care. It's an insult that they write "our customers are incredibly important to us" when that is clearly a lie.

Poor customer service

Not happy with there customer service
After having a second sofa bed delivered due to a fault, another fault has developed on the replacement
I was told “we will refund once the sofa is return”
I asked for packing
None sent
Now I’m told can’t collect
Can’t refund
No idea when we can do this
Not happy considering the sofa bed was £300
Not good customer service at all

DISSAPOINTED

DISSAPOINTED. I arranged for an item to be returned as too small. Return pickup did not show so had to be rescheduled. Item was picked up two weeks ago. I am now told I can't get a refund plus I don't have my item.
I actually rated the service and quality five stars as well originally.

Stolen £900 and refusing to give back

Ordered £900 worth of stuff which was supposed to be delivered over a month ago. Clearly the company is now completely bust as the CEO has posted about it on LinkedIn and yet their shocking customer service advisor Kate has just told me on email she is refusing to refund or cancel the order because it's "just a temporary change in circumstance". Anyone would know that is nonsense as they are buying time to avoid forking out money to their customers, suppliers and anyone else they now owe. There is no chance I will receive my goods but they have taken the money. Now I have the stress of arranging a charge back through credit card. Made.com deserves to go bust with this kind of service.
