Order DID arrive - Don't give up hope

Ordered a sofa in February and I kept delaying the delivery due to wanting to have the room decorated before it arrived. October comes and hear about the financial difficulties and that they are no longer accepting new orders. I immediately emailed them asking for my sofa (which was in stock and ready for dispatch since March) to be sent to me as soon as possible. I got the same generic email as everybody else stating they are not fufilling orders etc. but decided to wait and see what happens.
A week or so later I get an email saying it has been dispatched to the couriers and to book a delivery day. I do as instructed, the tracking from Made said it was sent to the courier on Tuesady by Friday the couriers tracking is still stating the item hasn't been recieved. Again I email Made to ask for confirmation of the status and again recieve the generic response of orders not being fufilled, however, as I had booked a delivery slot I didn't loose faith.
Fast forward to today (4 days after my latest response from Made stating they wouldn't fufill my order and my sofa is sat in my lounge.

For those of you who have outstanding orders that are "ready for dispatch" maybe don't give up hope just yet.

Extremely upset

They don’t follow their own policies and they ignore your concerns. It says on their policy that you can cancel an order if it has not been dispatched but they didn’t allow me to for no reason.

I tried to explain to them that their dispatch delay means my item will arrive around my labour due date. I told them I won’t be home for many months. They didn’t care and still want to delivery the item but I won’t be home!

No service should be like this. They should be sued.

No cancellations or refunds…

I ordered (& paid for) a dinner service from MADE.COM in July. The delivery date was originally scheduled for September & then delayed to November. When I heard that MADE were in financial difficulties a few weeks ago I reluctantly contacted them to cancel my order; however, as with others, I received an email to tell me that they could not cancel or offer refunds…surely this is called theft?!

Comeuppance

Well well well… just how the saying goes, what goes around comes around (unlike orders from Made.com) a disgraceful greedy, shabby company with dire customer service left scratching it’s head for answers after years of shafting customers, delivering faulty or incomplete orders or in many cases not delivering at all.
Looks like they’ve Made a real mess of themselves this time.

Excellent brayla sofa item and delivery

Such a shame this company is having issues and likely to go into administration. I got lucky with timings- ordered the Brayla 3 seater sofa in a box on 23rd Oct. A few days later the news was saying Made.com was on the brink of collapse and I was pondering what to do (they were still allowing you to cancel orders then). Eventually I decided to leave my order as it had said dispatched within 5 working days, I'd paid on a credit card (so I knew I was protected regardless) and I just wanted the sofa! I got lucky and a few days later it was dispatched and I was able to arrange delivery and it came on 30 Oct.

Quality of the sofa was great- just like in the shop where I had tried it. It was super easy to build also..Cant fault it at all.

A reminder to call that if you paid on credit card then s.75 protects you and you should claim the money back from your bank. I think even debit cards have some sort of protection over £100 too so I suggest everyone who needs a redund tries their bank..

Absolutely poor service

Absolutely poor service. We bought a chest drawers and matching wardrobe and both came with all wrong missing parts, unable to build for months. The chest drawers was replaced but wardrobe is still incomplete. This company is now in administration so I'm £700 down with a wardrobe that's not fit for purpose.

I am devastated this fantastic company is going through such challenges. The staff and brand deserve a future and a better outcome. I’ve recently just taken delivery of sofas and a media unit and am thrilled with each item. The quality and design is stunning and the customer and delivery service, even in such adversity, has been wonderful. Thank you to the team and suppliers - I truly hope things will work out for the best and the company and brand will
be saved, it deserves to continue its existence.

This is terrible experience to purchase…

This is terrible experience to purchase items from made, I have purchased the cabinet in £1300 on early of August but they delayed the item to December. However , I have checked the status again and they said that no update and no status can be shared. For other item is damaged and I have returned two weeks ago but they said that no refund can be made ….

Bunch of thieves

I've had issues with every order I've ever placed with Made. My last order was a bed which had to be returned due to it being faulty, Made agreed to the refund, collected the bed and are now claiming they can't issue my refund due to administration (the refund to was agreed to prior). This is nothing short of theft.

Thieving a***oles

I ordered an armchair and a matching footstool from them and now that they've gone bust I lost £500. I don't understand how its is okay for a company to steal hard earned money of its customers. It's unforgiveable!

filed for insolvency

On October the 8th I spent CHF 1750.00 for a Pavia Chest of 6 drawers and a shoe cabinet from the same collection.
(Order number 1700087110)
I received the chest of drawers a couple of weeks ago, and on October 21st I received an email from MADE stating that my shoe cabinet had been shipped. When I click on the link of the tracking number 0035300000100000000000057674, it redirects me to the website of shipping company "Evri" asking me for a 16 digit tracking number, and I do not have any tracking number of 16 digits.

It's quite simple. If you filed for insolvency as I am reading in the news and you will not send me my shoe cabinet at all, at least you should let me know, so I don't wait for it and I make peace with the fact that I lost my money and I can try to buy a similar shoe cabinet elsewhere. If you go out of business there is nothing I can do but accept that I trusted the wrong retailer.

Please let me know if I will ever receive my goods or a refund, this way I do not waste my time and you will have one less enraged customer to deal with for as long as MADE can still pay your salary. Chances are that you will just shut down and let us know wondering if we will ever get our money back.

Now the company is going into administration and is saying there is no refunds or cancellations. Its unbelievable,no help from customer services. ITS CRIMINAL, how do the owners sleep at night....

Not taking goods back! Ripp off

They delivered two chairs in a colour that was not even close to the photos on the website.
I claimed the goods within 10 days.
They are refusing to take the chairs back and they are not reimbursing my payment.
Be careful! Terrible customer expereience!
