Best Product, Support and Team

I have been working with Magestore for over 4 years now. By the best Magento Extensions Provided and the Best OmniChannel solution available in Market. I've worked with the Magestore team now for a couple of years. This is the absolute best POS solution for Magento 2.Magestore is a team that has always been true to their word and helped me in time of need even on their national holidays. Magestore POS implementation review

We have been working with Magestore for around a year. They have implemented our new POS system, integrated third party extensions and even done some custom coding for us. They also helped with our migration from Magento 1 to Magento 2.

They are always responsive to our questions and have been supportive in helping us fix any bugs and we are now in a position where the POS is working well and is reliable. It is great having Magestore’s POS and our website based in one place and it has allowed us to streamline a lot of processes such as managing inventory.

We appreciate what Magestore has done and look forward to working with them on future projects.

Our Journey with Magestore

Our company has been working with Magestore for the past three years. We first purchased the POS system to work alongside our website and after experiencing the benefits of working with Magestore and their product we have continued to upgrade our systems through them.
At any point where we experienced difficulties or where features were not working Megastore were quick to resolve these. Their customer service is top notch, they really listen to what you need and do their best to provide an excellent service.
We are currently using the Enterprise POS package, it comes with a number of useful features such as; inventory manager, order fulfilment, store credit and rewards along with a number of other bonus features. It truly is an excellent system that we cannot imagine living without.
We look forward to working with Magestore in the years to come and are excited to see and experience more brilliant products that they bring out.

Excellent Extension, Professional Developers, Outstanding Support

PROJECT
I have been using Magestore POS successfully for several years now on various projects. My latest project entailed integrating a POS/Delivery system into a Government-Mandated, State Tracking Database. For this, I chose to upgrade from a previous version to the latest Enterprise Version. It was clear from the get-go that the software had evolved into a much more powerful and polished system.

CLIENT
My client receives thousands of In-Store, Pick-Up, and Online Delivery orders per month, All transaction data must be tracked and reported to the California State Regulatory Board via API with high penalties for error. This did take some customizations to the stock POS Platform but the Magestore team assured me they could complete the customizations and integration at a price and timeframe that seemed very reasonable.


REQUIREMENTS
1. Multiple Barcodes per product based on government-issued ’Batch ID’ tracking number (each new batch shipment requires an additional barcode). Each Product SKU can have unlimited unique ‘Batch ID Barcodes’ each with their own quantity.
2. Client can receive Manifest from State Tracking Database via API and Synch with Magento Purchase Order.
3. Product Mapping of State issued SKU to Magento SKU when receiving and synching shipment.
3. Sale of multiple or partial unit quantities from individual product batches at POS and Onlne.
4. Inventory Adjustment of each batch qty with dropdown ‘Reason’and synch to the state database
.
5. Sales restrictions based on product, age, zip code, weight, and time.

COMMUNICATION
Based in Los Angeles I thought there might be an issue with the timezone difference but I encountered no communication barriers or problems conveying my requirements as the team speaks very good English. Within a few days of our first meeting, they provided me with a Solution Brief outlining exactly how everything would work and be accomplished. Upon my approval, they sent me an estimate with a detailed breakdown of each step in the project and its hourly cost.

SUPPORT
My support requests were responded to almost immediately and never more than a day. As we moved forward they kept me updated on the progress via Slack which allowed me to ask questions or receive updates from the team in real-time. When they delivered the project I was completely blown away, the functionality was exactly what I was looking for and more, with everything working properly as promised.

BOTTOM LINE
Magestore not only met all my requirements, but they also surpassed my expectations. An Excellent extension backed by professional developers, and outstanding support. I am looking forward to working with them in the future and am excited to see what their new Retail Assistant has to offer.

A really great ePOS extension

I have used the Magestore webPOS for a few clients on Magento 1 and my clients love it. Previously they were running third party systems like Apollo and Cybertill but having a ePOS system built right into Magento has made stock control a lot lot easier (as well as being cheaper to run). I have moved one client so far onto the Magento 2 version, and our first impressions are that it is even slicker than the first. The Pro version provides stock control functionality that seems to be missing from Magento, like stock adjustments and stock taking. Overall, I think this is a great piece of software for the price.

MAGENTO 2 PDF INVOICE PRO purchased May…

MAGENTO 2 PDF INVOICE PRO purchased May 30th. June 12th they asked for my Port number and not heard from them since. I have contacted their support both through their email provided and through their support on their website with the credentials that they have asked for. To date have not received the templates that i require to use their module.

Great product with outstanding after-sales support

We have been using the MageStore POS for more than 5 years; first on Magento 1 and now on Magento 2. We have been very satisfied with both the product and the company.

When it came time for us to evaluate an M2 POS solution, we contacted them for a proposal. Their sales representative was very experienced and produced a large amount of documentation that described our business case. She researched our company and our needs in a surprising amount of detail in order to make sure she recommended the right configuration for us.

After some back and forth and a competitive selection process, we eventually chose their solution for our M2EE Commerce Cloud build. Part of the reason for their selection was the fact that we already had several years of positive experience with their M1 solution, and part of it was the level of effort their sales team put into understanding our use case. They also offered free installation and setup, which helped keep our project on schedule.

When it came time to do the installation, their dev team completed the entire process in one night, with zero issues.

They've gone to great lengths to follow up with us, they have offered training sessions, and they have been available for us via Slack any time we have had a question.

Our site has launched now and the POS has been received very positively. Most of our staff have picked it up without any stress and minimal training.

Since launch we have had zero technical issues, zero configuration issues and zero training issues. It has been a complete success.

We absolutely recommend MageStore, their sales analyst Emmy, and their lead engineers Mike and Andrew, without hesitation. They have really supported us. Thanks guys!

their customer service is the worst…

their customer service is the worst ever. now i cannot even log in into my account when i have already purchased their webpos software. i have been skyping them since 2019 to no vail. Dont waste your money. i feel dupe by these guys.

Update:
After shelling out $600 for for the extension my account has been removed saying they no longer develop and support the extension i bought. I cant even download the outdated software i bought. i have been screwed. Dont waste your time on this guys.. they are vietnamese scammers

Magento is a powerful and complicated…

I bought this software in 2020 and gave a 2 star review.
Update for 2023 - the company removed my account login so I can not download the files that I own. I paid $5000 for the code, but they now won't give it to me.
Downgrade to 1 star.

Magento is a powerful and complicated engine. By default it contains the roots to do everything, but it needs serious programming, time and commitment to turn this engine into a usable system.

Magestore on a surface level appears to be a quick way of getting the platform ready to go.
Multi Wareware
Multi Currency
Multi Language
Inventory management

With all this in place, it is now time to start selling. (how wrong we were)

Unfortunately after buying the product and rapidly switching from Shopify over to our magento/magestore system, all the bugs became apparent.

CONS
1. It has taken around 1 year and a further $20,000 of development to turn the broken magestore system into a working one. To this date, we are finding bugs and broken logic from the magestore software.
2. At the time of sales, and even in their documentation there are features such as stock check that were promised. These features still do not exist today, leaving us to code them from the ground up.
3. The magestore system is so broken that we have stripped most of it out at this point. Taking their concepts, but re-creating them to actually work.

PROS
1. The POS mostly works and is probably the best on the market. It needs a huge amount of bugs fixed before it can be used though.
2. I believe Magestore provided a visualization of what is possible on Magento 2. Without Magestore I would never have understood the power of Magento 2. For this, I thank you.

What the buyer needs to know is that what you are seeing at the point of sale from magestore, is nothing more than a snapshot visualization of what could be possible. It is absolutely not a working/finished product.

I do not believe a company can buy this product and get straight to selling. There were basic bugs that any business using the software will immediately find within a week of operation, and yet they existed in a "finished" product.

I can draw only two conclusions from my experience with magestore.

1. They have no idea what they are doing and their logic and processes are such a mess that it leads to broken code.
OR
They are purposely selling broken software to draw you in with a front end that looks complete, but behind the scenes they are hoping you hire them to fix it.

I don't necessarily regret my decision to buy magestore POS and inventory management. This purchase has put me in a position to create a truly great platform.

If they marketed it as "a concept that needs alot of work". I think this would more accurate :D.

Admittedly, we have caused confusion to you during the usage. For some features that we fail to explain for you how it works, for some, we did not deliver the best quality. Thus we have strictly followed the Magento code standard and weekly release chain to control the outcome quality. Until now there are not many bugs in the system anymore; the "bugs" now could be generated due to the different specific Magento environments only, which is also our focus now to minimize the deployment time.

Besides, with the experience of more than 10 years working with retail and Magento, we always aim to deliver the best POS solution in the market that solves the most challenging concerns in-store operations. I'm glad that we at least help you with the concept.

However, with our utmost effort, we truly hope that we can deliver better service to you next time, especially solving our weakness now and utilizing our strength more and more.

Disappointed

I bought two extensions from them, but they stop providing any extension support, and they just told me they stopped it due to the shortage of resources. Very disappointed, I would not recommend.

I'm a long term customer for their M1 extensions and spent thousands to upgrade to M2.

I bought several M2 extensions from them and all of those extensions not supporting new Magento 2.3 version.

I tried to send tickets or emails several times and they are not replying me anymore when they know i'm not a new buyer, just an old customer who needs support.

They are just hunting for new customers and don't do after sales support at all.

Please avoid this company and don't lose your money from them.

Magestore is scammer!

It's my fault not to search for this company's background before placing an order with them. If you read all reviews here you'll find something in common like I had here:

1. They don't live in US. Their HQ and staffs are in Vietnam.
2. They offer you $1000 Magento 2 POS module that is soooo slow and so buggy and needed an EXTRA $10,000 (TEN-THOUSAND) to make it compatible with other extensions you have. (this never happen with their POS for Magento 1).
3. No matter what you say, they WILL NOT GIVE YOU A REFUND even though their TOC stated that they have 365-day money back guarantee.
4. After a few attempt of refund requesting, they'll abandon you.
5. They will reply this review with a beautiful essay, explaining how great is their module and end with a nice apologies. Still, your money never return.

*UPDATE* (May 26, 2020)

After receiving the expected essay, their sales rep emailed me and give me a choice to get a refund. Of course I accepted it without hesitation and the rep confirmed that he will process the refund for me (which should take 7-10 days).

Yet, until now, no money is refunded from them. Again, I was a fool to trust this company words twice. If you're looking to buy something from them, I warn you that DO NOT TRUST THIS SCAMMER.

Before providing you with the next steps, please allow me to clarify your points first:
1. We do have the representatives in the USA and the development/consultant/support teams in Vietnam. We also public both 2 addresses on our website like this: https://prnt.sc/s0xcaj
And I believe that we would never say that we're all in the USA because the development teams mainly follow the Vietnam timezone which will be figured out immediately once you work with us.

2. I totally understand that it may overwhelm you when the integration fee is much more expensive than the standard POS base package itself because this's an extra development work which is estimated by our actual extra hours required to work on it. And this integration was also required even for POS on Magento 1 for sure.
Because the issue is not about the compatible, those extensions can still work well on the online website (or if not because of the POS, we will fix it free for you) but if they want to be functioning the same within the POS (in other words, they add more features to the POS), we need to do the integration work.
Specifically, in your case, the fee goes up because of the other extensions including many rules which need to be integrated as well.

3. Lastly, it's our mistake that we did not follow up with you on the refund request. It has been a bit hectic here amidst the COVID pandemic.
Our rep is contacting you further on this now and if you decide to get a refund, we will process the full refund to you. It's our guarantee and we will always keep that promise.
However, this will take around 7-10 days for us to complete the procedure.

Been using Magestore POS for Magento…

Been using Magestore POS for Magento version 1 and upgraded to M2 recently. Came with a few bugs here and there but issues were sorted out very timely. Now it works like a charm! Very fast and efficient!

I was always able to reach the developers and they always responded to me to get my issues sorted. The developer Oliver is great at what he does.

It's a top notch point of sale system and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

Our adventure with magestore started…

Our adventure with magestore started about 3 years ago. Coming from VEND we needed a good replacement with more integration options that would serve both our 3 physical shops, main warehouse, as well as our online channels.

After a carefull process and testing different platform we found Magestore which was the perfect solution for us. Magento 2 had just been released and their WebPOS did met our expectations. In the beginning we had faced some bugs and inventory problems, which caused a real headage. But after lot's of hours investigating, skyping and emailing, they have all been resolved by the skilled team behind Magestore.

Although WebPOS did met our expectations, i was curious when they brought PWA POS so i contacted them again to see what's going on. About a year ago we upgraded to the new PWA POS, which is blazing fast and the UI is very good. I have never regret the upgrade from WebPOS to PWA POS, since there is a real added value for me and my employees.

Also I noticed products and mails from MagespaceX, since they are a lot cheaper but please DON'T go for MagespaceX as they do not own the product and its just a copy cat. You also don't want to see your product copied by someone else for cheap. Credits where credit is due!!!

The support is great but can be a bit slow from time to time (also because of the time difference but point of improvement there), but in the end all problems are solved and that's what counts for me.

Using the PWA POS without any problems for more then a year and still very happy!

Using Magento 2.2.10 and Magestore 3.7.8

Megastore is a scam!!!

I bought a pos system and extra for custom work from magestore totally $3000. It’s never worked right ALWAYS having bugs. After one year trying to fix it and debug it. They decided to change everything and now my POS is nothing I can’t even log into it. They won’t upgrade their existing customers to their new service you have to pay more money. So if you want to invest your hard earned money into a company that’s not located in USA located. So it makes it even more difficult trying to get a hold somebody. Do you own research on megastore before you invest money.

We first started our project in 2017 and worked hard on customizations in 2018 until the whole solution was supposed to work properly as well as there were no issues reported from your side.
Since then, we thought the solution was just fine.

In Sep 2019, we officially released the new PWA POS which takes advantage of the latest technology Progressive Web App, this is proved to be a significant enhancement (in terms of performance, customizable and scalable abilities), and most of our customers upgrade to this new version. That was also the reason that we decided to focus the in-house human resources on this new technology.
However, we also parter-up with another Magento solution provider to provide support for all of our customers who would like to keep using the old webpos.

I guarantee that we never left you. Please allow us to continue to help you when you are ready to continue the development.
1. If you can upgrade to PWA POS, we will absolutely assist you with the upgrade process.
2. If you would like to keep the old POS, we will contact our partner to support you.

Bought the magestore POS extension and for 2.1 and 2.3 is not able to use it. I thought life time updates had some meaning. Okay looking past that. Just recently I logged into my account and was okay then a week later I logged into my account and my account no longer existed. I have been skyping with them for over a week and they just keep saying let him get back in the office and he will send the extensions. Well this has yet to happen.

I would stay away from magestore. Or do not be mad, now knowing lifetime to them means they will delete your account.

Because there are several things in your message that made me a bit confused:
1. We already stopped providing separated extensions 2 years ago, when Magento 2.3 was not released yet. So we actually never had nor confirmed the version of those for Magento 2.3.
We do provide lifetime updates, meaning if we release a new updated version, you will receive it free for sure.
2. We never delete any customer account. However, we have switched our internal system from magestore.com to my.magestore.com, which may cause some migration issues. In this case, we shall solve it real quick for all the customers. Please let me know your email address!
